I enjoy coming to Delaney's. As a local resident, I enjoy the 'Irish' food. No problem with English…read morehere. Food is delicious and the staff are very accommodating. Good price for quantity and quality of food. Their Sunday roast is, in my opinion, the best in HK. Daily specials offer a good selection as well.

Hostile Management Ruined a Professional Group Event…read more We visited last night after calling ahead the day before and being explicitly told no booking was needed for a large group. Yet, when we arrived with 12 directors and professionals on a quiet Monday night, the restaurant was almost empty, and the manager immediately told us off for not booking. He talked down to me, avoided eye contact, and made us feel entirely insignificant. We tried to have a calm conversation and mentioned we were spending money on a two-hour social gathering, but he restricted us to sit in the corner and strictly ordered us not to mingle with his patrons. He flatly stated he didn't care about our money, only his 'regulars.' To make matters worse, they forgot one of our food orders, and some of the food we did receive was subpar. It's a shame because the floor staff were sweet and kind, but hospitality starts from the top. I have never felt more unwelcome and treated with such hostility at an establishment. Avoid this place! Wasn't in the mood to take a picture I'm afraid.

The roof top terrace is far superior than Eye Bar: bigger, more space for regular tables & lounge…read morechairs. The view is that of Kowloon, opposite that of Eye Bar which has the HK island view. Though less stunning esp at night, its still quite impressive. The weekend brunch starts at $620/person which includes seafood platter + a main course + dessert + 1 non-EToH drink & unlimited house breads. You can not order anything a la carte during brunch hours. Any cocktails & wines will be minimal of 150-170 hkd. 2 peeps can easily share 1 set of brunch, esp with unlimited assortment of excellent house breads. Dessert was a whole plate of goodies, not just 1 piece, wow it was fantastic! Service was great

A rooftop bar located at top floor of Park Lane hotel, known for the beautiful view of the harbor…read more Unfortunately weather has been bad during our stay at the hotel and it was raining hard the night we came here. So we could barely see anything but we thought it's ok we're just gonna enjoy the drinks and foods. Well it turned out the view already was the best part of the night. We ordered 4 cocktails and only 1 was good. We didn't finish the other 3 because they just tasted horrible. My advice is just get something simple like gin and tonic or coke and rum. Their own signature cocktails were a waste of money. We also ordered fries and fried chicken which were overcooked. They were probably left in the fryer for too long. The wagyu beef slider was actually quite delicious but hey we paid $180 for 1 slider it'd better be good. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. I don't think I would come back again..

A nice place to relax with friends after work; also suitable for couples. There is a wide variety of Scotch, Japanese whisky and cocktails. They got Scotch like Scapa and Caol Ila which are not very commonly seen in bars in the area. The price is reasonable, most of them are of around HK$100 for a single shot. We arrived around 1030, after dinner in a restaurant nearby. It was our first visit and the experience is nice. We were served by a Japanese bartender who is friendly and helpful. We had some beer, whisky and cocktails: Suntory Premium Malt on tap, B+ Creamy and rich. Of course much fresher than the bottle / can one. Hong Kong Cooler, A-: A vodka based cocktail with some citrus, ginger ale and ... jasmine tea? A very refreshing drink. Scotch Manhattan, A (*caution: this grading is only suitable for Islay lovers. Forget it if you hate peaty stuff): The bartender recommended this when I told him I love Islay and wanted a strong cocktail. Basically Ardberg 10 with Vermouth. The peaty Ardberg and the sweet vermouth match perfectly. One of the best cocktails I have ever tried.
