Kind of a varied menu including eggs, pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, fresh juices, etc. I loved that their breakfast menu included a dish of oven baked salmon, eggs and asparagus as a breakfast dish. This is up my alley and what I ordered. My husband had fruit topped pancakes. My salmon was good and the pancakes were so-so. Prices are high, for the location is indeed in Central. It has the feeling that it is a bar/lounge first and a breakfast spot second or third. There were not many patrons at 9:30AM on a Sunday, but not sure that is a reflection of the establishment, but more that breakfast and brunch tends to get rolling post 10AM around here. Although it is not the best breakfast I have had, I thought it was OK and would consider going back if I was in the area. I liked that there was not a lot of people and it was easy to get seated and be served.

The portions are HUGE, offering a more casual ambience than its sister restaurant Wagyu. My crazy diet continues, so I ordered a starter of minced beef with lettuce cups. Bearing in mind the portions are huge - I was stuffed. The minced beef was certainly very tasty and full of gorgeous spices, however I was disappointed. The menu set out minced beef and water chestnuts : my meal came with chestnuts. Now, I'm not a massive fan of chestnuts and I was looking forward to the contrasting crunch of a water chestnut. I didn't mention anything to my server, however she also did not advise I wouldn't be getting what I technically ordered. Speaking of service, I think we had the moodiest server in the restaurant. She looked at us like we were morons and didn't warm up even though we tried to crack a few jokes with her. Although Wagyu Lounge is pretty trendy, we again found ourselves straining to hear each other over the beats of the house music pumping out. A bunch of thirty-something girls want to chat about life rather than have a party in our head. We are all feeling pretty old these days. Given the quickness of the personal size being delivered and the spotting on the bottom I'm guessing they have a proper high temperature pizza oven and a pizzaiolo. I appreciate the use of real cheddar and some moderately crispy bacon, but a higher quality burger patty would do their burger a world of good- it was really soft and mushy. The fries were well seasoned and crunchy, so that gave me the motivation to clean my plate after conquering the burger. As is evidenced in the presence of a souvenir shop, the Hard Rock Cafe should probably be looked at as a place that sells a lifestyle or experience. Considering the prices listed on menu items, it's hard to justify those in any other way.
