I stayed here for a work trip for just one night and booked through our employee booking system. I arrived much earlier than the regular check in time and didn't have high expectations of getting into a room right away. The staff was very friendly and though they didn't have a room ready right away, they did have one within 20 minutes of my arrival and got me checked in early with ease. The room I stayed in was a single King room. It was spacious and clean and had a mini fridge and the air conditioning worked really well. The shower had good water pressure, was clean and had soaps and conditioner attached to the wall. There is some street noise that you can hear from the rooms but it wasn't bad from my room. One of my coworkers said it was a bit louder from her room. They also have parking for free in their surface lot. The parking does get crowded in the evening but I was able to find a spot. The lobby area is spacious and has a lot of table and comfortable lounge seating. There is also a cafe/bar area that looked small but does the trick. I checked out early the next day and didn't have any issues. I would stay here again if I had more business in the area.

We had a great experience. Check in was very easy. The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice. The room was a pretty decent size. There was a mini refrigerator, iron and ironing board. We had to call the front desk for a blow dryer. No microwaves in the room, but they did have one in the lobby for us to use. The gym was really nice and the pool did get a little packed on Saturday night. They have a cute little gazebo for the smokers. This location was nice. It was in a pretty quiet area and close to a gas station, restaurant and freeway.

Pros: Very comfortable bed with nice linens. Not the starchy scratchy stuff and the blanket was a nice light comforter. Thick soft towels. Convenient location with easy access to the freeway. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Fitness center and pool: water and towels provided and I'd suspect the dirty towels aren't removed daily. Coffee maker. We didn't use the coffee provided, but it was functional for hot water. Hand sanitizer throughout the hotel. Laundry facilities: I read they are available but didn't use them. Cons: Rooms are only cleaned every 7th day, and light cleaning requests require 24 hour notice. Paper cups: only 1 was provided and when I asked housekeeping for more, she gave me 1. When I asked for more, she gave me the riot act. Fitness center: there is a strong smelling air freshener, the type that brings on a headache. Half of the elliptical and treadmills are out of order. Peep hole was dirty and you really can't see much out of that. Room access cards: occasionally don't work! Mini fridge: it's really tiny but it works. Ice machine: dispenses slivers of ice. Go downstairs for ice blocks. No bar: go next door to Clementine's. This is a no frills hotel. Check in and out processes were fine. What I care about is how well I slept and given the room faced the road, the street noise wasn't as bad. PS. Reset the alarm clock so you are not woken up.

Not a bad place, especially for the price. I was in town for work, and found this hotel for $120 a night. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The bar/coffee area was never open for the whole time I was there. I liked the big TV and hot shower with plenty of water pressure. Just be careful if you take a long shower with the bathroom door open because it can set the smoke alarm off (ask me how I know). I would recommend asking for a room that faces the front of the property as the back faces the noisy freeway. I would stay here again.

If there was a no frill hotel this one is it. I don't know how they could charge $159/ per night. Hotel is located off Bollinger next to a Chevron gas station and apartments. We stayed here because it was where the wedding party guests were staying and it was closed to the wedding location. First, there is a pool but that's pretty much it for amenities. I did see a "gym" room but not sure how it is since no one in our group used it. The room at least the one we were staying at really thin walls. I kept hear my upstairs' neighbors walking around throughout the night. It was really hard to sleep when you can hear people walking around in their room. We were on the 3rd floor. The room layout was also weird with a small bathroom counter and only mirror was in the bathroom. It was cramp when 2 people were getting ready in the bathroom corner. The air/heater flow was loud and it was hard to regulate the room temperature. Sheets were super thin and the comforter or whatever they provided as bed cover was as thin as the sheet. I had to request for a blanket at the front desk for my kids as the room turn cold during the night. The restaurant/bar area never seem to be open or have any food items in stock. They didn't have beer for my friend and was out of stock of certain wine selection and cider. I have never stay in a hotel that didn't have any breakfast of any sort. Not even a continental one. Even Motel 6 and Holiday Inns have some kind of breakfast(ie cold cereal box, bagel, juice, etc) for their guests, especially if they are being charged $159 /per night. On our second night I noticed that our room were not getting a cleaning or a turn out. I don't really mind our beds not being made but could they at least clear out the trash bins and provide some fresh towels daily? Maybe this is the new Covid era?? I inquired at the front desk and the front desk guy told me it is per guest request and that they would need 24hr notice. Shocking!! I request that housekeeping could take out the trash items in our bins that has been full for two days and if they could take our two day used towels and replenish us with some fresh one. I told him that they didn't have to make our bed since I didn't give them the 24hrs notice. We were only staying 4 days and we were already in our 3rd day. It was pointless now to get housekeeping to change our bedsheets. Everything there you have to ask for. We had to ask for hand towels and face wash since there never were supplied in our room. The housekeepers I found were in the hallway apparently cleaning up other rooms. She said they didn't have any wash clothes just hand towels. No food, just snacks and candy bars-- you would find more options in a vending machine than what they had at the hotel. Very limited beverages in their "bar/restaurant" and if you order a soda it's $4 for a 8oz bottle. Tip: find the Safeway down Bollinger and stock up on food, beer, or wine you want to drink during your stay. They do have a mini frig for you to put your drinks in to keep them cold. This is a sad hotel for it to be consider a 2.5 or even a 3 star hotel. I only gave them 2 stars review because at least they had a pool. Never never will we stay here ever again. Hopefully someone reads this and don't waste their money staying at this hotel.

Arrived a little before check-in and was charged a earlier check-in despite the fact there were no working ice machines in the 100 degree weather. The holtel was under-staffed with rude lazy teenagers.interior and exterior and common areas were dirty and unkept. Hotel trash cans were overflowing and the hallways smelled like Marijuavna

First, the quality of sleep here was amazeballs. The bed was comfortable but those pillows. ALL FOUR of the pillows in my room were supportive throughout the night. That's a rarity in these days, even across the Marriott brand. I had one for my head, one to hug, and two to put my hands between (I think). I was here for a conference and the staff and amenities at the conference were superb. The food in the conference area was good. I had a tofu pad Thai that was so flavorful! I don't know if it's on the restaurant menu, but I'd consider it if it was. The Executive Lounge (or whatever they call it) was always well stocked with either a carafe of coffee at breakfast or an on-demand coffee machine throughout the day. They also had some snacks and a pretty good breakfast for platinum and above members. It's near a plaza that has a Target and a Whole Foods and some other stuff too that's walkable. There's also a "City Center" type place a little further (still walkable) with a variety of spots (brewery, mediterranean restaurant, etc.) This is what every Marriott Hotel should strive to be like. I'm not talking about Courtyards and Fairfield and such, I know they're different. But for a Marriott proper, this is it! I'd stay here again in a titmouse's heartbeat.

Here's the cons: Horrible cell reception and they charge $14.95 per day or something like that. Worst part: I booked a double queen room but they gave us a single king bed room. Thankfully I'm traveling with a good friend so I don't mind being cozy but I don't think that'll fly with the rest of the group that's traveling here for a conference. I know it's happening to a lot of people in my group (I heard them in passing). They told us there's nothing else available. Shady in my opinion to not provide what I paid for. They have coffee in the lobby but promptly takes it away at 9am and tell you that you'll have to purchase it after 9. Ooooh get this... there's a Fiji water with a price tag of $9. Wow. The room wasn't cleaned till past 3pm and we went back downstairs to give them time to finish cleaning. So overall, great looking and good location for shopping and for an event but the amenity is not up to par. That's too bad.

This is an older model Residence Inn with multiple buildings and apartment-style layouts. I stayed in a second-floor room, which required climbing a flight of stairs--something to keep in mind. The room was just okay. The bed wasn't as comfortable as the one at another Residence Inn I stayed at the night before. The room had a noticeable smell, the bathroom vent didn't seem to work, and the TV remote was very slow and unresponsive. Cleanliness was good, and breakfast was average--nothing special, but enough to start the day. The real standout here was the staff: everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, decent for a short stay, but not my top choice.

This concludes the good points. The building we were in was in need of a remodel. Living room furniture could use either a good cleaning or possibly replacement. Bathroom plumbing in one bathroom was in need of some serious repair, so we were moved to a different unit. Our kitchen was overrun with ants one evening. Thankfully it was our last night. The fitness room was a huge disappointment. Not even a dismal set of mismatched garage sale free weights. Just three huge cardio machines in a tiny room Breakfast selections were average. Nothing gluten free if that's your jam. Coffee was decent. Our expectations were higher since we usually stay at the Residence Inn in Pleasant Hill which is a much better experience for fitness and breakfast. Also, the Marriott brand and the price per night meant we expected better ‍
