The massage chair is great with the privacy screen (I've actually taking asleep for a couple mins while relaxing after work lol).

When we arrived around 10 PM, we were informed that our reserved King room was no longer available and had been given away. We were downgraded to a Double Queen. We were never notified in advance -- and our cancellation window had expired three days prior. There was no phone call, no email, and no communication that our confirmed room type would not be honored. Had we known before the cancellation deadline, we would have made other arrangements, especially given that this was a holiday stay. At 10 PM on Valentine's Day, finding another hotel wasn't realistic, so we accepted the downgrade. Unfortunately, the experience didn't end there. Loud music began playing somewhere within the building at 7:00 AM and continued for nearly two hours until we finally got up to get dressed as sleeping in was no longer an option. We were not on a lobby floor, and the volume was significant enough to disrupt the morning. After a late holiday evening, that was not the expectation. The room itself was clean and the check-in associate was polite, but the lack of advance communication, the room downgrade, and the early morning noise significantly impacted what was meant to be a relaxing Valentine's stay. We hope management addresses these concerns appropriately.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Also not squeaky. Free breakfast and free parking were a big plus. The hotel has a pool, gym, and newer washers and dryers. Staff mentioned the property is about six years old, and it definitely feels well maintained. No complaints at all, worth the price. Friendly and helpful staff. We also liked the location. It felt safe, close to shopping and Vacaville outlets, and about a 30-minute evening drive to downtown Napa. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Bed was comfortable, although had a few long hairs that were stuck on the sheets when we pulled back the comforter. We removed and moved on. Service when we showed up at 8:30 was weird. The front door was locked, and everyone who worked here seemed like it was their first time working a hotel. We told him we drove in and he didn't mention paying for parking until we were about to leave the desk. I asked in the morning to split the bill and the front desk worker told me "I wouldn't know how to do that" and said she couldn't. Weird. The hotel fire alarm went off at 6:30am and we all started to evacuate. It turned off 3 minutes later, so we went back into our rooms. Called the front desk who gave absolutely no guidance and said "someone walked all the floors and it looks fine, so do what you'd like". It went off again at 7:45 and again at 8. Breakfast was minimal and they were out of loads of stuff when we went down at 7. Seems like a really great hotel if they could get some qualified staff and work out kinks.

Bold coffee is good First room the toilet broke and drove us crazy all night as it would not stop running, the stop was broken.they did not have a maintenance person. We had to move to another room, but half way thru moving a maintenance man comes from nearby residence inn, you'd think they would tell us. Such a pain ! He just shows up That same old room the shower head was set on only a few sprays and one cannot reach it to change unless you are 7 feet tall with long arms. Also some random large piece of wood from somewhere, was leaning on the back wall. New room was better. Staff nice but... changing of guards there was some lack of communication with us. She suggested it might be an allergic reaction and said they didn't find any signs of bedbugs. Regardless, it was very uncomfortable. We stayed for about two weeks, and housekeeping was extremely inconsistent. Most days, the room wasn't cleaned at all. When they did show up, they barely took out the trash. Towels were hit or miss, the bed was rarely made, and the sheets were never changed. And forget about getting the room vacuumed. The noise level was also difficult. The walls are quite thin, and with several tour groups staying at the hotel, there was frequent early morning activity that made it hard to get restful sleep. Breakfast was disappointing--limited variety, often cold, and the coffee was terrible. They have "private" parking. There are people loitering around late at night, and there's no gate or security presence. So I really don't understand what you're paying for. On the plus side, they do have an indoor pool, and access to a gym is available at a nearby partner hotel. Overall, while the location may work for some, my experience left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't choose to stay here again and wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it to others. The front desk staff were extremely friendly though.

They didn't work tried to go back downstairs again. Let her know then she came upstairs and tried my keys herself, then tried her key and it didn't work and she said she didn't know how to change the batteries that she would have to call the manager and that she would be back in a few minutes. Meanwhile, myself, my wife in our three month old granddaughter are all wet. My wife and my granddaughter are sitting on the floor in front of the room in the hallway after 15 minutes, I went downstairs to see why it was taking so long and to read to ask for a room for my wife and three month old baby granddaughter so that they're not sitting and laying in the hallway, but they never offered us the room until after they finally trained the girl on how to change the batteries on the door then she asked if we would like another room why would we want another room now that we can get into our stuff the baby's cold shivering hungry that should've been the first thing that they should offered us once they figured out they couldn't get the door open themselves and the night clerk should've been trained on how to do that without having to call the manager in to show her a trainer, how to do it right then and there this is very unacceptable! Then to to top it off I went to warm up the baby's milk in the microwave in the microwave was not even plugged in nor was the cord ran down to the outlet. I had to pull the cabinet out myself run the cord down pull the plug out from underneath the small refrigerator just so it would reach so I can plug it in and then push the cabinet back to be able to warm up the bottle for the baby. Then in the morning, I went downstairs to get the luggage cart, went back up, and my key wouldn't work again, and the manager would only give me 10% off to compensate for my troubles $8.95 for sitting out on the hallway floor in front of our room for 45 minutes at night after 10 PM that is very unacceptable. I recommend that nobody ever stays at this place again cause I recently the employees are not trained properly. and they have no common sense when it comes to an infant involved in situation when they can't get into the room that has the infant milk clothes diapers are belongings and the top it off. We should've been offered another room to stay in until our door was open so that we can get our stuff and so that we could dry off instead of sitting in the hallway in wet clothes in the infant in wet diaper and clothes after the night clerk figured out she couldn't open the door. She should've put us in another room immediately because we had that three month old infant .There's too much chlorine in the pool and the Jacuzzi that my granddaughter's onesie colors, bleached white ruining the onesie in the Jacuzzi was lukewarm and cannot be adjusted because no one could unlock the control room where the controls were to turn the heat up! my reservation receipt is the only receipt I've gotten from them. They never offered me a receipt or gave me a receipt when I checked out this is the second time we stayed there the first time we liked it so that's why we returned to there to the comfort suites in Vacaville but we'll no longer stay there after the way we've been treated. and we will be letting our friends and family here all about how our day was how we retreated.

The stylistic decor is genuine, aesthetically pleasing and truly comfortable. With modern amenities festooned against the backdrop of a 1950s Western Black and White film, staying there transports its guests into a tangible connection to Vacaville's decades old past. If you are an artist or an enthusiast of retro design, local history, or of course imbued with facets of the equestrian lifestyle, then being afforded the chance to stay there will appeal to your senses and create a feeling of belonging. Which I do believe is rare in the hotel/motel industry. It's a one of a kind facility with a warm, accommodating management staff and I'll leave it at that, as praising it any further would bring a certain radiance which would detract from the locales mysterious and secluded vibe. How a compound so near to the busiest freeway in Northern California could tuck itself away into the Lagoon Valley pastoral beauty and remain a flower unplucked and hidden is rare and something we old school Vaca-villlagers and lovers of nature alike do appreciate and love. Should you stay there, feel special and enjoy the gentle whisking away into another time....
