Nicely equipped kitchenette studio at very decent price. Quiet, comfortable bed, relatively clean, even a fireplace, breakfast (which I didn't try), pool and gym. Elliptical was totally nonfunctional (my big reason I utilized this place but oh well!). Good location (right off the freeway) and nice staff. Definitely something to consider if you are in the area.

For the price I was super excited to see what a big room this was! It was as big as a large studio apartment with all the amenities. Dog friendly, full kitchen equipped for cooking whatever, wifi, easy off freeway access, clean, safe and friendly staff.

I am so happy I found this place to stay for a family event. The room was spacious. There was a comfortable area to watch TV, a small kitchen, bath area, and sleeping area. The room was very quiet. For breakfast, there were eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, toast, OJ, and apple juice. It was a wonderful spread. This is a location for extended stays, so at breakfast, there are varied residents--vacationers, families, and solo travelers. All are made welcome. I interacted with reception and maintenance employees a few times, and each time, I walked away feeling welcome and heard.

Great hospitality they bring you hot chocolate and light the fire pit for you and turn on the night lights around the patio. but it's only one person who brings you hot chocolate, it's the kind young gentleman behind the front desk! they also serve hot breakfast or cold breakfast in the morning and they are very generous and nice about it! absolutely amazing service 10/10 would come again!

We are traveling with a service dog for my disabled son. I was offered a page to initial and sign that said I consented to a $100 cleaning pet fee on checkout because I was traveling with a service dog That's illegal with ADA. She's a device animal not a pet. It is illegal under ADA to charge anything beyond damage. As we are entering our room with her and no place else for public access I did not grab her vest which is also protected under ADA. I have an adult with a disability who has a dog trained to mitigate that. She's not a pet and if I see the $100 cleaning fee that this establishment is not allowed by law to charge I'm getting louder than Yelp. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE at the desk! Btw- we were very quick to be told about the quiet hours and how my sons service dog shouldn't bark or my son needs to also keep quiet. Honestly given how we hear the people above us given our early start on the road tomorrow. NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY! Not a place, even with how the layout works for us, I would stay again. There is a way to weed out those that are faking their dogs without making those of us that actually need them feel like we felt. Here's the screen shot of the ADA website sharing the - initial here for the $100 pet cleaning fee" that staff put under my nose.

I did not notice until I had finalized it that the date of the reservation was incorrectly entered to be the very evening that I was placing the reservation. I'm not sure how this error occurred, and as far as I'm concerned, how it happened is irrelevant. I called them immediately to inform them of the error, and to ask them to change the reservation to the date that I actually wanted, calling both the corporate 800 number, and the local reception desk. Both refused to help me, saying that changes in reservations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the anticipated arrival time. I pointed out that I only made the reservation three minutes ago, so meeting their 72 hour rule was obviously physically impossible. Now, I understand the reason for such a rule, and when it comes to a reservation made three months ago, or even three weeks ago, it seems perfectly reasonable. However, it is not reasonable for a reservation made three minutes ago. They were not persuaded, and refused to change the reservation for me. They made $200 from my innocent error. It's certainly my position that it would have been not only reasonable customer service, but wise business practice to help me correct my reservation error. It would have cost them absolutely nothing, and they would have kept my business and my good will. I wrote a review similar to this one on Google, and the owner, himself, answered me in a very nasty fashion, reminding me that it was 100% my error, and their 72 hour rule was clearly stated on their website, adding that I needed to accept responsibility for my errors, and stop blaming others. I would never stay here after being treated so rudely, and losing $200 to them. I encourage you to avoid them, as well. Their competitor, Hotel Mesa Albuquerque Midtown, offers nicer rooms and free car charging.

We sat out back where there are little seating groups, a fire pit, a field, and a view of the mountains. We sat by the fire pit, had cocktails, watched the sun set over the mountains, met some people and had fun and interesting conversations. It was the perfect way to end the day. I came across El Verde Inn on a Yelp which aligned with our needs. I booked the same day on Expedia and immediately received instructions on office hours and how to use their keyless entry and check in process if needed. We drove into a neighborhood then a parking lot to a golf course. El Verde Inn is right off the golf course. Perfect! We arrived prior to the office closing and were greeted by Destiny. Destiny was very nice and helpful with instructions. The property is small with around 20 rooms. There are 2 levels with no elevator so if you are in need of accessible accommodations I would ask for lower level. Free parking out front. They do have a bar but it is closed on Monday & Tuesdays. There is a sports bar next door at the golf club which stays open until 10pm. The property is older and they have done a nice job renovating the rooms. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Coffee is provided, snacks and non alcoholic drinks for a fee, small refrigerator, restroom and shower supplies, robes and blackout curtains. Plenty of towels but if you need more, there is a cabinet inside the upstairs lobby which you have access. Our room has a tub with shower and not a walk in shower so I would ask the front desk if a walk in is available if needed. The only issue we found in the room was the air conditioner blows loud, but it kept the room nice and cold. The other issue is the TV. It is a ROKU tv which means you can only watch streaming services, no live tv so we had to go to a sports bar to watch the games. Lastly the room could use more lighting but these are all personal preferences. The backside of the hotel is a beautiful Ramada. The views of the golf course and city lights are lovely. Very peaceful and pretty property.

As soon as I booked on Expedia they reached out, had me fill out the appropriate forms for liabilities, and made sure I was ready upon arrival. The staff I spoke to was very kind, patient, and helpful. He seemed to speak the language of the exhausted traveler, and was helpful with recommending local bites nearby. Our room was adorable and had a vintage feel to it. There was a minifridge set up with some refreshments (but enough room for our own things to still fit). The tub was a little confusing between ice cold and hot, but drawing a bath was a breeze. I love that they had dark towels for make-up removal vs just white washcloths. *I personally travel with my own, but I know it sucks to ruin a good towel with makeup. The bed was a decent balance between firm and soft. The room was silent besides the room AC. We didn't have to worry about our car, parking, or anything really which was an extra comfort. There are signs about golf balls potentially hitting the cars - they won't. I wish we had more time to wander around and really enjoy the property but now I know where to head to when we return. =)

Each of the hotels in Hilton's Curio Collection offers guests a unique boutique hotel experience, and the Hotel Andaluz Albuquerque is no exception. The hotel, which originally opened in 1939 as Conrad Hilton's fourth hotel, is a stunningly restored 10-story property that served as New Mexico's first high-rise building as well as the state's very first building equipped with commercial air conditioning and elevators. Beyond its incredible historic character and design, it is conveniently located near the Albuquerque Convention Center and features very spacious and well-maintained rooms. Our room featured a large LED TV with plenty of content, a functional workspace with easy-to-connect Wi-Fi, and individual HVAC controls that made it easy to manage the temperature during the night. The room was also equipped with a small refrigerator as well as a single-serve coffee maker with four pods. The bathroom had dual sinks and plenty of space for our toiletries and personal items. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the incredible service from everyone we encountered. I had been tweaking our New Mexico itinerary right up until the trip and completely overlooked adjusting our hotel dates on Hilton.com. When we arrived to check in at the Hotel Andaluz, the front desk associate informed me that I was a full 24 hours early for our stay! Oops. Thankfully, the front desk team didn't miss a beat--they stepped in and solved the issue effortlessly and without a hint of drama. It's also worth noting that downtown Albuquerque takes on a notably quiet and isolated atmosphere after dark, and walking even a few blocks to the restaurants and bars on Historic Route 66 wasn't recommended. The valet team came through not only with great service, but also with excellent local dining recommendations that made heading out for dinner seamless and enjoyable. PRO TIP: While there is no on-site self-parking available, the hotel offers in/out valet parking for $26.98/night plus optional gratuities.

I love that there was a fitness center with weights, not just cardio equipment. I didn't love the big picture window in the gym, on the bottom floor, that anyone could look in at any time. I love that there was a pool and whirlpool. I don't know why - even though the sign says it will be open until 10, it was chained shut quite early in the evening. My room was clean and, as I said, quiet. It had a weird musty smell too it though and the thermostat wasn't working. The main unit gave me a continual error message and the wall unit was either on or off, nothing in between. I seemed to be either really warm or quite chilly.

I really like that parking is included and not an extra charge like some hotels. We were located near a Target and lots of restaurants as well. Our room was located on the 12th floor and it was busy as the last ever Gathering of Nations was taking place at the fairgrounds. The employees whom helped us were very nice and efficient and checked up on us with a phone call once we got settled in our room. As for the room itself, it was perfect for what we needed. We had a great view of the city. The only cons we had was the HVAC system was not working properly. The room was very stuffy and no matter what temp we lowered it to (went all the way down to 60) the A/C did not kick in). The fan was working but not blowing any cold air (the hallway's A/C was working). I reported it to the front desk upon check out. The other item was the shower's knobs were located on the opposite side of the shower head and I had never seen that before. It was very awkward as the glass sliding door does not open on the side with the shower head. I felt that it was unsafe as you turn on the water but cannot feel the temp of the water cause it is on the other side. Overall, stay was good and it was pretty quiet other than hearing a couple of guests out in the hallway. I would stay here again if in the area.
