We booked thru Hotels.com as it seems to have the best competitive rates. Our greeting was welcoming & attentive. Check in was fast & efficient. The staff were amazing & helpful. The fridge did not work in our room or our in-laws room. The dog park area was great as it had real grass and bags. The history of the hotel was everywhere and the decor is very nice! Went up to the rooftop was nice and the sunroom was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Secure as you need room key to go to floors, which we liked. We would return if in area.

We were on a roadtrip and found this gem off of the original Route 66. We liked it so much, we stayed again on our return drive home. It was originally a Santa Fe railroad hospital. It's on the historical register, so be sure to sign the official guest registry! All of the rooms are high quality with simple elegant and classic design. The bed and linens were very comfortable. They provide two robes in every room. The rooms have high ceilings and feel spacious. Very clean, including the bathroom. We opened the window in our room for some crisp cool fresh air. There is a rooftop lounge are called the apothecary, but we got in too late to try it. There is ice on every floor in drawers below the coffee station. The service staff were genuinely hospitable and gave us some trivia facts about the place. I don't usually leave hotel reviews on yelp, but this one deserves the recognition. My only suggestion would be to request a room that is not facing the highway. The road noise was a little loud the first night but the second stay was across the hall and it was very quiet.

This hotel is beautiful and pet friendly!! Dog relief space was large and encased with lots of greenery so my pups weren't nervous to run around and play! Also loved that we were given a dog toy during check in as well :) LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Great little historical property with boutique amenities. Really enjoyed my stay here. Easy shuttle pick up from the airport. Cool little historic neighborhood walking distance to downtown. Free breakfast included. It's allegedly haunted but I didn't see any evidence of that and I looked lol.

Solid hotel. Some say it's haunted. I say nah. Great service, clean rooms. The continental breakfast is way better than what you find at a chain. Another perk is that the breakfast room is open all day with coffee and tea options and seating so it's a nice place to duck in to if you are looking for a break or to get a little work done. We had a meeting here and used one of the meeting rooms on the first floor. Staff were great with getting things set up, food options were good and the food set up for the meeting was nice that it was in a different room from where we were meeting. Fourth floor is restaurant and bar with rooftop seating. Highly recommend. Great space with good views.

This hotel has it all for us: a wonderful location right on Rte. 66 near Nob Hill and close to old town, history, elegant rooms, comfortable beds, a gorgeous lobby with adjacent seating, a very comfortable rooftop bar (inside and outside seating), with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, breakfast with a beautifully landscaped outside seating area, whirlpool. I could go on. And i will! Because I forgot an essential piece, the staff. We were warmly welcomed, given all the information we needed, received great service in the rooftop lounge. There just hadn't been a misstep. So, stay here.

The Hotel Parq Central is located on the east edge of downtown and the medical districts. Converted from an old hospital the renovation into a hotel is pretty amazing and it was a great place to spend the night as we went through Albuquerque. Our room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the standard amenities you might expect. The bathroom was large for the size of the room. The staff was efficient at check-in. The parking is a little tight and I was hesitant to park in the driveway to unload, but it all worked out. There are a couple of great spots here for just relaxing. The courtyard off the first floor is beautiful and relaxing. You will quickly forget you are in the middle of the city. The rooftop bar is a great place to escape for the evening to enjoy the sunset and see the lights of Albuquerque at night. We enjoyed our stay and were glad that we tried something new and away from the major brands.

Nice hotel, great location. Originally built 1926 as a hospital for the railway workers, then turned into a mental hospital. Lol. The hotel was renovated and kept neat elements from the past. Lovey hotel. The Apothecary lounge on the rooftop is amazing with great views of the city. Catch the sunset, order a handcrafted cocktail.

This hotel makes a fantastic first impression. It's got a neat history. It's a cool old building. It's had a first-rate restoration and is very nicely appointed. I liked the bed, I liked the shower. I liked the toiletries. The desk staff were uniformly pleasant. Yes, there is a park full of some really decrepit homeless - I mean like, needles-hanging-from-the-arms decrepit - but it's in the back and if you try not to think about it, it doesn't ruin the experience. So wow, one star, huh? Yeah, I'm THAT angry. So at the time of my visit, the state of New Mexico was under a mask mandate, because a pandemic was ripping through the country. You might remember - a little virus called Covid-19? Might give you the sniffles, might kill you dead? So as you walk into the lobbies of most establishments, including this one, there is a large sign. I took a picture so you could see it, I am attaching it here. It required me - and everyone else - to wear a mask. Despite being fully vaccinated, I complied - because I am polite and - despite whatever my personal feelings about it may be - when there is a mask mandate and everybody else has to do it, I feel like it's only fair. The staff at the hotel all were required to wear masks as well. And they all complied. Oh, with one minor exception: THE GUY WHO HANDLES EVERYBODY'S FOOD - I'll attach two pictures of him to this review as well (in one picture he can be seen picking his teeth next to his masked and gloved coworker, nice huh? maybe he's the owner, idfk). Two days I was there and I had to watch this guy breathe all over the food that was intended for me to EAT, 100% unconcerned and obviously above the rest of us ignorant plebians attempting to be polite as we limp our way through all this uncertainty. I'm actually less concerned that this genius had and/or was spreading covid than I am just pissed that a) he obviously didn't give a single sh*t and b) this hotel ALLOWS him to not give a single sh*t. This guy has no business being there without a mask when you insist that your PATRONS wear a mask, and PARTICULARLY if he's public-facing and handling everybody's FOOD! Put his ass in the back or something taking out the trash or cleaning up the homeless, I don't care. Unbelievable. So because of this, I couldn't enjoy the free breakfast, not that I'm really all that excited for hard boiled eggs and 7-11 danishes anyway. Coffee was good. Sorry though, the coffee and the appointments are not enough. If you can't be arsed to make sure your staff uniformly cares about health and safety to the highest degree, you don't deserve to serve the public. I wouldn't stay there again and if I had known I'd have to deal with this, I wouldn't have stayed in the first place. I'd have rather slept in the park with the homeless - they were all face-down in the grass a minimum of 6 feet apart and not even thinking about serving food to anybody.

I wanted a good hotel for our first Balloon Fiesta experience and this place did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean hotel, looks and feels very upscale. The apothecary lounge on the roof was excellent. The small bites were so good, we ordered it two times in our stay there! The fence surrounding the parking and hotel gives a sense of security that I really loved. The continental breakfast was very good. I would stay again. Major plus was the environmental friendly measures the hotel takes.

Stargazer drink- strong black licorice taste... do not recommend unless you love that.

I wish someone would have told me this prior to booking this hotel. There aren't many reviews explaining this. This hotel stay was one of the creepiest place I've ever been to. We stayed two nights, and after the first sleepless night, I started to research on the hotel. The old floors creak and you hear noises in the hallway at night. This hotel is known to be the most HAUNTED hotel in ABQ if you look into it. It used to be a MENTAL ASYLUM (which they don't tell you upon checking in). Their fitness center used to be the old crematorium- you get a strong stench smell when you walk in. I didn't sleep for more than an hour at night due to the constant scratching on the wall, a weird light over the room, and footsteps outside. The top floor of the building (especially right wing) is known to be the the most haunted, with an old lady walking down the hallway at night. I would pass on the complimentary breakfast as well (just some old pastries and boiled eggs in odd green water). Across the street is a park with homeless people and some sketchy things happening as well. This hotel is in an UNSAFE part of town. I hope this honest review helped you, as it would have changed my view for $350/night.

It felt a lot like a scene from Clue. Fun! Inside looks exactly how you'd hope it to look based on the outside. It's filled with authentic built in furniture in solid sturdy wood. Ours was the Garden Room which was more of a suite than a room. In addition to the queen bed, there is also a separate room (like a living room) with a pull out couch. The living room has a door that leads out to a balcony that looks over the entire property. From there you can see a huge courtyard with a fireplace and luxurious lounge chairs, hammocks and benches. There is a pond, or more of a brook that runs through the back courtyard. I never determined if there were fish. The entire setting is a place for anyone but particularly those who want to take a few days to catch their breath. I sure did. In the morning the DH B&B served homemade quiche, multigrain pancakes, piping hot coffee and juice. If you are going to be in Albuquerque and are doing some comparisons, this one is more than just clean; it's delightful. I am a local. Even so, I'll be treating myself to this again..and again.
