After only 5 years a wall was buckling and that area of the floor was sinking. They quickly diagnosed that this was due to insufficient drainage. The recommendation was to rebuild the wall, add drainage and level the flooring. Other contractors wanted to basically rebuild the entire patio which would have been overkill. They right sized my project and priced their work fairly. My kitchen overlooks the area they were working. So throughout the day I could see their diligence and attention to detail. It was quite a task, especially the removal of the original adhesive but the were total pros. I was apprehensive as to how using what was there would work out but it turned out as good as new and I could not be happier! I can already see being a repeat customer!

I chose Julio's Services based on the number of good Yelp reviews. I'm very, very happy with how…read morethe project turned out. I have been looking for a landscaper who would recommend what would look best and would be low maintenance for my large front yard. Domingo did just that. He recommended where to put river rock and where to replace mulch with sod. His crew of 6 men came out 2 days later and worked very hard all day. Everything went very smoothly. Domingo was easy to get a hold of. I will use his services again and I recommend that you do also.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My wife and I reached…read moreout to Ross and Jack Landscaping for a straightforward spring clean-up and weekly mowing. What followed was two weeks of Mark, the president, trying to upsell us into a sweeping overhaul of our yard -- framing routine landscaping as urgent "must-dos" to get our house in "working order." In a group chat with my wife and me (which I'm happy to share), Mark pivoted from answering our questions about the quote to bragging about being a "rich guy," lecturing us on wealth, and suggesting we take out a loan to fund more landscaping work with him. That is not a quote I'm paraphrasing for effect -- that is what the president of this company put in writing to a young couple who asked him to mow their lawn. The breaking point: Mark insisted it was mandatory that we let him rip out every bush along the back of our house. When my wife politely asked whether she could try to save them herself this spring and have that line removed from the quote, his response was an attitude shift followed by "I quit" -- at 10 p.m., the night before our $3,000 spring clean-up was scheduled to begin. He has not responded since. I'm a small business owner myself and I do not enjoy writing this. But if you are a homeowner in Elmhurst looking for a landscaper, you deserve to know how this company treats paying customers before you waste your time. Look elsewhere.
