This studio is in the heart of Berry Hill, plenty of parking, up in a lofted apartment style space. It was lit with red infrared lights and heated, which was perfect for stress reduction and calm in the evening before bed. A newbie to Pilates practice I had a difficult time keeping up and felt this was for more advanced participants; however, I did not feel exposed so was able to modify and get the most I could out of it. I really loved the energy and vibe of this studio and maybe with more practice would feel more comfortable and confident!

It isn't, but all barre studios are a little different, and I've come to really enjoy the classes at Neighborhood Barre! I've tried several of their classes - Barre HIIT is my favorite right now because I feel the effects of the workout for days! It's a good workout. The instructors are really great, helpful, nice. The music played is really fun and helps me focus on the workout. Some classes are more full than others, but it's not jam packed of people. They offer a trial two weeks for $29 - and I highly recommend you check that out if you're interested in barre or NB in particular. You can also sign up for drop in classes on the Mindbody app (which I love). There's ample parking in the area even if the area can be kind of a pain to drive around (I always regret not leaving 10 minutes before I think I should if the class I'm aiming to get to is between 4 and 6, because I will inevitably hit every red light on Franklin Road for the whole drive). All in all, it's a really good studio. The classes are all different, so check them out until you find the one you love!

Studio owner Stephanie has been part of Nashville's pilates community for years, and it's been fun to watch her build out Frame over the last 2-3 years, continuously adding new teaching talent, class offerings (jumpboards, 55+, strength, etc.) and studio upgrades. Frame is an approachable environment for all fitness levels and a great place to start your pilates journey. After attending other staple studios in Nashville, I ultimately joined Frame when it opened in September 2023. I was already a fan of Stephanie's instruction and several other familiar instructors joined her there as well. Having now taken 300+ classes, it's been a highlight to see other regulars who joined at the very beginning still showing up on a weekly basis.

The space has two rooms -- one for warm classes and one for the "hot hot" classes -- plus showers and all the amenities you'd want if you're coming straight from work or a workout. I got there early (shocking, I know ), and the instructor was so kind -- she unlocked the door, let me hang out, and even gave me a little tour. The space feels super welcoming and laid-back, not pretentious at all. They've got really cute merch too -- think comfy tees and tanks you actually want to wear outside the studio. I took a hot yoga class, and it was fantastic. My instructor led a spine series that had me feeling brand new. She knew her stuff and gave great cues. Booking through ClassPass was super easy, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. My only (tiny) gripe: they turn the bright lights on for most of the class, which kind of threw off the moody, ambient vibe they had going at the start and end. That lighting at the beginning and end? Perfection. I wish they'd kept that throughout. I also prefer louder music for flows , vinyasa , and buti type classes. Other than that -- 10/10 experience. I'd absolutely come back. This studio has heart, great energy, and instructors who clearly care about what they're doing.
