Their apples were extra crispy and delicious, and a cut above what you get at a chain grocery store. They have well stocked fresh fruit and vegetable choices and a full selection of nuts, other unique snacks and juices as well as cold canned sodas. Although more expensive, you get what you pay for. Even better, their Underwood Ranch sriracha, and garlic chili hot sauce are locally produced and the tastiest brand out there. Both women behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking out front.

Most of the goods are from Oxnard and not a random town thats hours away like other markets. The artisans are all pretty friendly and happy that you're there. I recommend coming here and getting a snack if you are going on any of the local boat tours to the islands.

The market had many more booths than I was expecting after reading the write up. They had a mix of food items for sale from fruits and veggies to desserts, to fish to drinks but they also had jewelry, clothes, toys, cremes and balms and other assorted items. Their fruits and veggies were impressive. It was so vibrant, colorful, fragrant. Enjoy my photos of the berries to see what I mean. I did buy a bakery item from the booth that had a lot of items, but no one in line, no wait versus the other booth that had a good amount of items but about 15 people in line. I should have known. My coffee cake item had saran wrap but it had a hole in it, and it was very stale. I am assuming that the hole led to it being stale and not that it was an old item not freshly made that day. It was very disappointing. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out.

I had a bit of a hard time finding the place. So when you go, you need to turn in where it says Somis Ranch Apartments. It looks like Camarillo City Hall is right there also. The berry stand is "behind" Crossroads Shopping Center on the corner of Somis and Las Posas. The stand is set back behind the strawberry field, so it is not right on Somis Rd. Hope that helps! It is definitely worth it to go there and get super sweet berries.

We've been coming to this fruit stand for 5 years, and it's one of those rare places that truly…read morestands behind the quality of what they sell. Anyone who buys fresh produce knows that sometimes a papaya, jicama, or other fruit can look perfect on the outside but end up going bad on the inside--that's just nature. What sets this place apart is how they handle it. If you bring it to their attention, they'll happily replace it at no extra cost. The same goes for their farm-fresh eggs. They genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their products. Their eggs are local, high quality, and incredibly reasonably priced for what you're getting. The produce is always fresh, and their customer service is exceptional. They once gave us a rue plant that wasn't looking its best, and today it's absolutely thriving. Another thing we love is their beautiful sunflower bouquets. They're only $5 a bunch, which is already a great deal. Even better, if you stop by near closing and the sunflowers are fully opened and at the end of their display life, they'll often give them away for free rather than let them go to waste. It's clear that this is a family business that values quality, fairness, and their community. We keep coming back because we know we'll always be treated honestly and with kindness. Highly recommended!

So much so that I can no longer justify buying store bought ones that have the flavor profile of an actual wet paper towel. The strawberries here are a special Albion varietal; known for being large, sweet, and bursting with actual flavor. The woman who co-owns this place is incredibly warm and welcoming. You can tell each berry is picked with care and love. Upon purchase, she hands you a cute little card with tips to keep your strawberries fresh for as long as possible. I bought 3 boxes, followed the tips, and kept mine fresh for well over a week! They accept credit cards, Venmo, and cash--so super convenient. Just check their instagram for current hours since they shift based on the harvest. 10/10 -- definitely worth puling over for!

I am a certified sucker for a farmers market, and this one did not disappoint…read more I was out traveling with family for a quick overnight trip to the beach. The hotel we stayed in was 5-8 minutes from this gem . I made it a point to show up early as to not have to fight crowds or parking. Parking was great and the perfect number of other people there. I walked, shopped and talked. I saw some awesome things and some things I had seen before. There was live music, old guy killing it on the guitar with a donation jar. The majority of the shops were very chill, very friendly, very happy to see a new face. And they could all tell I was from out of town, all the picture taking may have given it away. I tried the le soup's chocolate and almond croissant. It was great, the owner told me it was twice baked so it was be very flaky..messy.(this man knew what he was talking about, as it was good as it was messy) The beautiful flowers always get me going because we live in California and have such an awesome variety. I live in central CA and everything I would have purchased here would have died on the way home or when I got there. (105 temperatures are a regular thing here) The 2 places that had a line 5+ people long were the coffee shop and the fresh fish place. It's always interesting to see what people are into in different people in places are into. I will probably come back when I'm in the area again and I look forward to seeing even more great things!
