Be prepared to spend half of your day for a simple hair service that usually takes four hours or less at other hair salons,(even with a take down and shampoo included). A total waste of time and money;when your are done and disappointed with the outcome, you are way too exhausted and irritated from spending what seems like forever at the salon to voice your concern. First and Last!! P.S:No customer should be subjected to listening to the personal details of your life while you are providing service to them. It is SO OFF PUTTING;the customer is not your therapist or counselor. Not every one wants to have lengthy conversations with a hair dresser during an appointment. Besides,if the person is clearly quiet for most of the conversation you are attempting to have with them and they are reading a book, something should tell you they might not want to engage in a conversation with you except to inform you of the kind of hair service they want.

From the very beginning from our phone conversation scheduling, to the consultation of treatments for my hair, to the actual style itself she made sure that I understood the process. Usually people just begin styling or putting products in without discussing what they are doing. All in all I am new to the area and needed a stylist. I drive about 35 mins and pass up other stylists to have this particular stylist provide me with haircare services. She is really one of few that are simply the best!

The braider (owner) stated to me that my hair was too much to work with because I prefer to not relax my hair. She even went so far to tell me to blow dry my own hair myself because she couldn't deal with it. After I blow dried myself she said the braids won't look right if she doesn't press it with a hot comb. She begins to press it but is very rough and the smoke is everywhere I explained to her that she is burning my hair she said ...it's the oil. I requested that she stop and just braid my hair in 6 braids going back. She made endless remarks about my hair being too nappy for her and next time either relax it or go to ANOTHER stylist to do a "silk press" prior. I was embarrassed and confused to think that an African woman doesn't know how to manage "African" hair especially when her texture is coarser than mine. I would recommend a hairstylist that knows how to work with black women hair not only braid "straight" hair. I have never experienced this type of self hate and I would not recommend anyone to this establishment. *I was going on vacation the next day and needed some cornrows that's the only reason I didn't walk out.

I will never patronize this establishment again in my life.

I showed up on time to get my daughter's braids done for back to school, she did a great job braiding my daughter's hair although I do not know she would have her children there as well. Please, don't get me wrong, I understand people may run off when the service is good and it protects the stylist, but what about the customer that works just as hard for their money to not to get the proper services done. She had to braid my hair and the braids were not small enough and puffy. When the wig was placed on my head, it sat on my head like a hat.(she said the wig was too big) She then proceeded to cut up my wig without placing it on my head first. She used this old glue to which looked like it was for arts and crafts and not hair. She put tons of it on me. She then asked me to hold down my sides, while she proceeded to sew my wig to my scalp! I asked her what she was doing and she says it gives her clients extra security. Well even before I left the wig was coming up! You could see the wig front line because she cut the net all the way to the scalp of the wig so you really couldn't blend it with makeup if you tried. I left her shop hurt, disappointed, disgusted and downright angry that I spent $150 BEFORE this catastrophic experience took place only to have to take it out tomorrow and get it re-done! Some people should just say I can't do those and let it be.  I sat in my car and damn near balled my eyes out for at least an hour. I am down here working and finally proved this is the reason I don't let people do my hair! I would not recommend her for lace front wig installs. My co-workers were all appalled and pissed off right along with me. Although, they had some choice words and said the  things they would have done, but unfortunately I am working and getting locked-up or losing my job is not my plans!  STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS WHEN IT COMES TO LACE FRONT INSTALLS!! THE OWNER EVEN HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME SHE IS THE BEST! Well, if she is the best...... please give me mediocre or the worst! I hope my real hair isn't too damaged. The respectable thing would be to return half of the money, because the pictures shown, if given the opportunity to show another styling professional would say this is not good.
