The staff here said hi as I entered and then gave me the freedom to browse. Anyway, it's a lovely little store with some really nice things. It's not just a clothing store, which I appreciate. They do have clothing, but when I was here most of the merchandise was non-clothing; books, toys, games, and so on. The prices weren't super out of line with other children's stores around. The clothing is more on the expensive end--they don't really seem to sell mid-range stuff here. But it's high quality children's clothing (but do check labels--I've been to some children's stores where dry clean is recommended and that's not something I can justify for children's clothing, though I do forget to check the labels). I stopped in to see if I could find something for my friend's son for his birthday, but didn't find something that jumped out on me at this trip. I am not in Northfield very often, so it's not a shop that would be a place that I would just pop by. But if you're looking for something special or a nice gift it would be a good place to take a look.

Three years ago I would have been shocked if someone told shopaholic me that I'd enjoy shopping for my kids way more than myself, but it's true. I skipped the cute women's clothing and made my way towards the back of the store to check out the cute little onesies, tutus, etc for my little ones. I just so happened to be here during the Winnetka Sidewalk Sale so I got some fab deals on kicky pants PJs and other cute outfits for my son. I didn't have as much luck for my daughter, but next time we're in need for a tutu we'll be headed here. If you stop in on the 363 days the Winnetka Sidewalk Sale isn't happening it can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth checking out for the kids. And perhaps even yourself.

I hadn't heard of Evereve until my friend mentioned it last night, and then today on the way to…read moremeet said friend of brunch I stumbled upon this location while walking around winnetka to kill time before our planned meeting time. I decided to check it out. It's a very cute store, and the sales girl who greeted me and was lovely and very sweet. We chatted for a bit and she wasn't at all pushy, and she gave me good info about how the store is set up and some tips for online shopping. The denim prices are on par for what you would see at other shops for the same brands, and they were running a 10% off sale for Labor Day, which is nice. The tops and sweaters are a bit overpriced for what they are (honestly the quality doesn't seem that much different than much less expensive stores, or other women's clothing shops. Like, I couldn't tell the difference in fabric quality for their $70 graphic Janis Joplin t shirt and my $20 Target Janis Joplin shirt). They have some really cute workwear, though, and if I worked a job where I had to be business casual in an actual office where people would see more than just my shoulders in a Zoom window, I would be tempted to get a few blouses, blazers, or slacks here. But since I can wear yoga leggings, a knit tee and throw on an old blazer when I need to for a video call, I can't justify buying things I won't ever use. But it was fun to browse!

I haven't spent very much time in Evereve stores (although that may change now), but I get their trendsend box every few months. I highly recommend you do the same if you're looking to update your wardrobe seasonably because they seem to nail it each time. The lovely sales associate I spoke to when browsing the Winnetka Evereve told me that they are going to start styling the trendsend boxes from this location next month. I love their clothing for comfortable yet put together looks for lounging, working or chasing around my kids. I find it all very age appropriate for a women in her 40s like myself, although I did find myself eyeing a few pieces during my last visit that my 12 year old would go nuts for. The new Winnetka store is no exception and I spied a fabulous spanx sweatsuit (I lived in one of these last winter), comfortable yet trendy splendid shoes for fall and an impressive sale section that even had a ton of fall/winter wardrobe options. This Uncharted is similar to the one in Arlington Heights, which looked somewhat newer. It also had many different departments, each selling trendy merchandise. There seemed to be a lot of cute things that I could browse had I had more time to shop. I ended up grabbing several boxes of moisturizer and headed to checkout. The cashier was very friendly; she called some manager trying to check if I could combine two deals at the same time. I had a 10% off the entire purchase for the first time for rewards member coupon, and a monthly $5 coupon. As she apparently did not get a clear answer, she scanned both barcodes to let the system decide. It worked and saved me over $15. That's perfect customer service! I will be back to shop more for sure.

My teen daughter made her way to this store a few months ago with friends and came home with a…read morejellycat which is all the rage among kids and teens right now. For those who haven't jumped on the jellycat bandwagon they are super soft overpriced stuffed animals. And while Uncharted has a nice collection of jellycats they also have many other products (candy, journals, toys, hats and more). If you need a gift for someone I guarantee you can find something here! My youngest was super jealous of his sisters jellycat so of course we had to go back with him. And it's impossible to leave uncharted with just one thing! I was confused by how my daughter and her friends could kill an hour in one store, but I found myself doing the same.

I was so disappointed when I made an appointment to bring some items in. There were about 22 pair…read moreof shoes and 15 jackets and sweaters. The first note from the manager was- that's about of stuff--- well if you don't want that much, then limit it on your website. A nice way to put it would have been to say "thank you, but we may have to make another appointment". I'm a recently retired physician and have many nice work shoes and clothing items that were never worn, especially during COVID, and would have liked to consign so others could enjoy. It isn't worth the hassle factor. Just donate straight away.
