My experience with Leah was a 10/10 from start to finish. I submitted an order request using her online system. I immediately receive an automatic reply, letting me know that my request was received and that I could expect to hear back within 2 to 3 business days. Leah exceeded that expectation and actually got back to me within 24 hours. In her response Leah explained her plan and vision, based on the add-ons that I wanted, and even showed me how an element of our theme that I did not know how to incorporate could work on the cake. She sent back and forth examples to really narrow in the vision and provide guidance. Leah even went above and beyond to accommodate an early pick-up time since we were heading out of town with the cake. She was extremely accommodating to our special request for the cake details and the accompanying cupcakes we ordered, and consistently professional and responsive the entire time through. The final product was gorgeous and DELICIOUS. All of our guests (and us) were raving over and over about how good the cake was. So moist, great flavor, and just perfect. The cupcakes were also delicious. I absolutely loved working with Leah and will definitely be a loyal repeat customer for all of my cake and treat needs. read more

Leah did an outstanding job with my wedding cupcakes. We ordered 8 different flavor combinations, each with varying color and style themes. Leah's cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and treats are all amazing. I've tried many of her creations and they never disappoint, they truly taste as amazing as they look. She offers great classic flavors, yet is also versatile and innovative with unique and seasonal flavors. I've ordered her cakes and treats both just for myself and for special occasions, and they never fail to amaze a crowd. You must try one of Leah's customized cakes. Her cakes are baked and designed with a passion that is present in each slice. Working with Leah was such a delight. She met with me virtually for a consultation to learn about my event and my vision for the cake. Leah Is a professional and I was really impressed by her attention to details. I could tell that she really wanted to make a memorable dessert that all my guests would enjoy. Her prices were fair and her quality went above and beyond my expectations. She stayed in contact with me up through delivery and was available to answer all my questions. The cake was the highlight of my event. All my guests were impressed and looking for leftover slices. I'm Leah, the creator and baker behind Somethin' Extra Sweet! I have always loved to bake and share my sweet treats with friends and family! In the summer of 2019, I decided to take the plunge and create a home based baking business after being nudged by everyone who has tried one of my treats...they knew they were too good to keep under wraps! After playing around with many names I landed on Somethin' Extra Sweet because my sweet treats always have a little somethin' extra to make them special!

Scoopers have always taken the time to provide samples, answer questions and scoop ice cream. Annapolis Ice Cream stickers and merch are on point as well. So creative and fun. Annapolis Ice Cream is definitely not the cheapest in the city but it is by far my favorite.
