The basement remote well pump was running continuously and I turned it off to let it cool...big…read moremistake. I heard all the water in the pipes gurgle and gone. I tried to run the pump, to no avail, no water. I called our regular plumber, who took a few calls to get a reply around 8 p.m. After hearing the situation, they suggested D& L Pump. I called D&L and received an immediate call back from Ed who diagnosed it most likely a hole in the well pipe and agreed to come first thing in the morning. Ed arrived at 8 a.m. and located the well with a metal detector. He then dug down to confirm the location and said he would return by 1 with equipment to dig out and replace the damaged well pipe with a new submersible pump. He returned with his son, Austin, and Will who capably and professionally removed and replaced the well pipe and pump, in the rain, by 5:30. They are consummate professionals.
