Upon calling last week, a member from his team spoke to me and promised to get back to me in a day on my query on pricing since Mark is away indefinitely. After a week long wait, I called back only to hear from the same person that he didn't remember that he would call back and that we can go to any other place and buy the stuff. This salesman probably forgot to follow up on my conversation and chose to take a aggresive stand to hide their own inefficiencies. Either way, not the best professional experience and I would be very hesitant to recommend this place to anyone anymore.

Well, that's where the pleasantry ends. I was the only person in the store, so it wasn't like the sales person was overwhelmed... but he was the most unhelpful and grumpy individual. No guidance at all. I gave him a proposed budget (now mind you I have NO experience with carpeting stairways) but instead of educating me, he laughed at me and said labor alone would be double my budget. She called these guys, and they agreed to remove the water and set upon a price. They had, from what her description sounded like, a couple of crappy shopvacs. Two hours later, they still hadn't finished and claimed they needed more money. They left two inches of water still sitting in the basement - they also left $200 richer. I don't know how they are at cleaning carpets... but they don't do water removal. They ripped off my mother, who is now in her 70s, and in 2009 was in her 60s. They took advantage of her.
