Now that the cat's out of the bag, I would just like to say that TJ and the staff were absolutely wonderful!!! My (Now) wife and I could not have asked for a better venue nor staff. They worked with us in every aspect possible...even when they didn't have to. The venue is gorgeous, and I'm sure that anyone who tours this place will have quickly already deduced that information...so let me address some of the concerns I had (And how they were addressed). We wanted Jack Stack (the BBQ place down the street was even better. We were worried 2 hrs of alcoholic drinks wasn't going to be enough For our guests. The bar downstairs was so large and so well stocked people didn't have a problem getting what they needed. I was worried it was too far from downtown (and I mean really worried)...the drive was not a problem for my family (all from out of town)...moreover, they all said it was completely worth it and the venue was excellent. My wife was a little anxious at times...TJ and his staff took care of it. It truly was exactly the wedding I wanted and at times didn't even know how to plan. Bottom line: If you choose this place, you will get a top notch staff with a top tear aesthetic for a reasonable price. If you have only considered venues downtown and Ruled this venue out because of the distance (which is exactly what I did)...don't ...at the very least take a tour of the location. We arrived at 8:30pm and saw a sign that said something along the lines of "we are booked up, so preference will be given to those with a reservation". Ok, understand; we may not get in since they are full. So I took a peek inside....and more than half the tables were completely empty. I asked the host if we can sit at the (completely empty) bar and enjoy one cocktail before their reservations arrive. She didn't know the answer and went to consult with the bartender. The bartender then responded with a rude attitude that she can't take any more customers. At this point it is 8:35 and you have about a dozen free tables plus a fully unoccupied bar. Is everyone running late for their 8:30 or did everyone schedule a 8:45 slot? I'm still baffled that we were turned down for a 1 drink / 15 minute experience with so many open seats.

The owners put a lot of thought into it, from the specially made leather chairs, some huge, some diminutive so you don't have to feel like you're in one of those chairs at Silver Dollar City that everybody gets their picture taken in, to the special glass, HVAC, Humidor, etc... you can tell this was a labor of love. Secondly, the service is excellent! From the tobacco experts that will guide you through the humidor to the people who work in the 2 attached establishments. There is a speakeasy next-door, just pick up the phone at the front door, say "Joe sent me" and you are allowed into one of the finest drinking establishments in the 5 county metro, replete with all of your favorite beers and craft cocktails that are out of this world! Then, you have the Bellows, an outdoor, intimate music venue that sports 2 firepits, a stage, heaters for those cold nights, and plenty of seating. I was lucky enough to find out about an event that they were having with Toscano Cigars, where for a paltry sum we were treated to the history of that company, a package of cigars, cutters, lighters, and some great Italian food.
