The best point of access to this park is on Oxford Drive just off of Immanuel Road in the Cambridge Estates subdivision. You'll have to park along the side of the street and you'll know you have arrived when you see Dessau Rd., in the distance. There are two other entry points, but this is the easiest one to find. It is basically a nice walking trail for the local residents to walk their dog along. The entire trail is probably less than a quarter of a mile long and it runs perpendicular to Dessau Rd about 1000 ft away. At the center of this trail, you will find a children's playscape, and a wooden gaga ball court. This park is a nice asset to the residents of this subdivision. TLDR: Surprisingly spacious park with a playground with limited range (not ideal for really young…read morekids). Small canopies provide some shade. First of all, it appears the playground has been redone. There are photos here from a few years ago -- looks completely different now. In most cases, these are clear upgrades but I'm not so sure here. The old playground looks pretty nice -- with more equipment for younger toddlers. Why they chose to redo it is a mystery. The current playground equipment is decent with some nice climbing options. It's a little awkward for grown-ups to access (when accompanying really small toddlers who can fall off) since the steps can only be reached via tunnel. So if your young toddler climbs up, you either have to go through the tunnel or climb up some of the ladders. Not a huge deal although if you're an elderly caretaker, take note. The playground does have two small canopies that offer partial shade. One of the biggest deficiencies is the swings. Only two belt swings for older kids. No bucket swings for younger toddlers or babies. Oddly, the pics of the old playground show baby swings -- why did they get rid of them? Weird. There's quite a bit of space like I previously mentioned but I'm not sure if it's being utilized well. There's a small gazebo but it seems a bit pointless. There's nothing in it (no seating) so it looks like a bus stop. I wish they made it into more of a pavilion with benches (there's space). Ultimately, a decent park especially since Georgetown is a bit lacking in playgrounds (when compared to Round Rock especially).

There are little hills next to the playground that have rock steps to climb. No idea if this is for humans or dogs or whatever but my toddler liked them! Ample green space to just run around (great if you have a younger toddler that can't use all the playground equipment yet). Lovely little walking trail nearby -- we had grandparents with us (stopped by en route to dinner) and they were able to take a nice walk. Ultimately, the design of this park is fantastic. The playground is surrounded by green space and separated from the parking area (which has ample spots btw) by large rocks. There is a road nearby but it's not super close and isn't particularly disruptive. Overall, it's just very pleasant being here. Loved it and wish it was closer.

After not visiting for a while, we stopped by today, and were surprised + impressed by the change! The play structures have been completely replaced and modernized. There are two separate structures for different age groups, and they are both fantastic. The playground is surrounded by large green spaces / fields, excellent for playing or practicing sports, flying kites, and more. My kids had a wonderful time playing and we can't wait to visit again soon, next time with a picnic lunch!

The park is open to all the local residents of Cedar Park, however, the tennis courts do require a special card for access. The main building has both public restrooms and a public meeting room. The covered picnic area is fitted with electrical outlets. Along with plenty of picnic tables, there are several grills which you can use. This park does have a small parking lot of about 10 spaces. This is a well thought out spacious family friendly park worthy of spending a couple hours at.

This park boasts of many amenities except for a pool. It has some very nice covered picnic areas with grills, a large playscape with swings and tennis courts. There's also a full basketball court, a soccer field and bathrooms. Directly behind the park you'll find a very nice hike and bike trail that takes you to Brightwater Blvd. One thing to keep in mind is that this park is under 24 hour surveillance. Definitely a well-thought-out space for the residents of Fernbluff.

It is definitely a popular place to fish for the local residents as long as you toss them back. There are three covered picnic table areas, but no grills. Towards the back of the park is a very large play scape for the kids. Across the street and opposite from the park is a private pool known as The Retreat which is for the Terra Vista residents. There is no sign on the property to denote whether this is a public or private park, but it might be safe to assume that this is not a public park. I did not spot any public bathrooms. This is some very well manicured and cared for acreage which greatly enhances the local community as the photos/videos below attest.
