Getting used to an EV didn't take very long. The range anxiety (fear of running out of battery…read morecharge) is taking longer to get over, though, especially when you drive a car that only has a maximum of 150 miles per full charge. Add in only 65% charge to start a journey from Orange County to Chino and you get even more anxiety. I was about to go to the charger at the Carolyn Owens community center because it was only $0.27 per kWh, but it was only a Level 2 charger (220V). To get my 2021 Nissan Leaf to even 80% from less than 50% would take more than 3 hours. Granted, for the same level of charge, 12.270 kWh, the cost would have been $3.31 vs. $7.86 at EVgo, but I didn't have 3 hours to kill. In addition, my charging session at EVgo was exactly 25 minutes to get me to 90% charge. The chargers at this location are run down and there is one CCS connector that has electrical tape around it. There are three kiosks, 1 with a dedicated CCS, one with a J-1772 (both the 220V kind), and one 50kW CHAdeMO, Tesla and CCS combo kiosk. There are two dedicated parking spots with the chargers in the middle. But the right one faces the back side of the chargers and you have to drag the charging cable around the back of the charger to your car. It would have been better if the kiosks were positioned in such a way that no matter which side you parked, you could see it. The chargers, itself, don't have the most up to date displays and don't show the number of kW that is being delivered and only one of the kiosks has a display screen. The others have small LCD screens. I'm giving 3 stars because 1) it works, 2) it wasn't crowded, and 3) it's off a major freeway with places to eat and shop nearby. And that's the only reason for the 3 stars. I could have given less just for the condition of the equipment, but it all worked. I mean, when was the last time you gave a poor review for a gas station because the pump was dirty or had a poor display? You got gas out of it, and went on your way. Just like this charging station, I got my charge and was able to quickly get on my way. That is, after I washed my hands...

It feels like over 50% of all fast charging stations are down all around the Los Angeles area and it's surrounding suburbs. Calling customer service is an absolute waste. The outsourced calling center sticks to there script and aren't able to help in any real way. They could tell you they have taken note of a down charger but it doesn't feel like it makes a difference because we've seen chargers down for months without ever being serviced. If you have a choice I wouldn't see EVgo as a benefit or convenience in any way. This is the biggest free headache anyone could ever have.

This Tesla charing spot is always super busy and many times has a bit of a wait…read more It's always almost packed on weekdays in the AM when I go (~8am-10am) and especially on the weekends. Oddly some weekend mornings have been ok. The reason I am giving less stars is more so the caliber of Tesla owners who come to this spot. I get not all people who charge here are locals (I am definitely not, but come here enough to visit family and see the issues with this location), but man some people just don't have any etiquette, but also in combination of how the layout is, it causes so much traffic coming into the parking lot. It is too close to the entrance so the line wraps around towards the entrance causing congestion and to help elevate this, some drive around to the other side of the chargers causing confusion on who was there first and many end up cutting the line by going around to the other side. On a positive note, you can kill time by walking around the shopping area or grab a bite to eat or boba near buy. The down fall, is the reception in some areas are bad or goes in and out so I recommend to set an alarm (this is for both AT&T and T-mobile carriers). Overall: I do like the location, just not the layout. If you just plan in sitting in your car, many charging stations have opened up near by, so I recommend going there instead to avoid the chaos. However, if you do plan on shopping or killing time, then this is a nice spot to charge, but just prepare for a possible wait or get frustrated by people cutting you in line. It is a safe area, so that is another thing you can count on and if you really want to charge here, I recommend to come early early in the morning before things are open or late at night when things are closing to guarantee less of a wait. One last thing, if you come here on a busy weekend night, be prepared to have non EV cars park in the charging stations as well!

Dear Eric, I am…read morewriting to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Tesla Upland Service Center. I scheduled my appointment through the Tesla app and arrived on time, expecting my vehicle to be inspected and repaired. Instead, I was told that the system should never have allowed me to schedule the appointment because the Upland location does not perform this type of repair. I was then directed to a third-party company without receiving any assistance. This experience wasted my time and was extremely frustrating. If the Upland Service Center does not perform this type of repair, Tesla's scheduling system should prevent customers from booking these appointments, or someone should contact the customer in advance to explain the situation. Turning customers away after they arrive is not the level of service I expect from Tesla. I have always appreciated Tesla's products, but this experience fell well below my expectations. I would appreciate an explanation of why this happened, what steps Tesla is taking to prevent similar situations, and whether anything can be done to improve my experience moving forward. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Andrew Oum

After calling multiple butcher shops, this was the only place I found that actually carried them. We ended up getting a whole beef femur bone for only $13, which was an amazing price. Can't wait to give it to our dog, and we'll definitely be back for more. If you're a dog owner like us, that's another reason to check this place out. I believe the girl I spoke with over the phone also mentioned that they offer both raw and smoked beef knuckle bones for dogs. She even cut the bones the way we wanted it Great service, great prices, and definitely worth the drive for us.

The staff here are super friendly and great and helping first time customers. They're all willing to find the answer to your question even if they don't know themselves. Butchers are onsite for custom processing and speciality cuts. Really charming bit of old chino, hoping they stick around for decades to come. They do all my custom animal-share processing and do a great job, looking forward to another perfect Christmas ham.
