I now have to be at this location between 430-6am to charge without having to wait. This location needs more charging stations. Of the 3 stations one is ALWAYS out of order and sometimes even 2. There are at least 2-3 EVs queueing to charge, constant wait at all hours except for 11pm to 4am if that works for you. My experience this morning was painful where the charging speed maxed at 59 kW. Absolutely regretting charging here at 5am. The next EA charging location is 10 miles in San Dimas. That location has 350kW and waits too, but goes faster because of the faster charge speed. Add more stations at the Target DB. The EA app is not consistent with the reality of the charging stations. What shows as available on the app (for example station 1), is not operating in reality it's been like this For so long and erodes at the reliability of the EA app. I'm going to bet it's been called in already and there's a work order on it. It's frustrating for customers who see it. People back into the spot, going through the motions of connecting to charge, sometimes they call customer service, vicious cycle really. It's super frustrating having to troubleshoot but unable to connect (90% failure rate, it's rare). When in reality so many people have already done this, but the app keeps showing open availability. Someone actually taped a handwritten sign on station #1 that says, out of order. But of course someone else ripped it off, because they're special, oh wait they were not able to connect. Surprise surprise!

It feels like over 50% of all fast charging stations are down all around the Los Angeles area and it's surrounding suburbs. Calling customer service is an absolute waste. The outsourced calling center sticks to there script and aren't able to help in any real way. They could tell you they have taken note of a down charger but it doesn't feel like it makes a difference because we've seen chargers down for months without ever being serviced. If you have a choice I wouldn't see EVgo as a benefit or convenience in any way. This is the biggest free headache anyone could ever have.

The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

I'm go to the Uniqlo and Shibuya LA all the time, which are fantastic additions for anyone looking for Japanese fashion, skincare, and cosmetics. The outdoor plaza and children's play area are wonderful additions for families. It's a great place to relax while kids burn off some energy and the pet-friendly outdoor spaces make it even more inviting. The dining scene has also improved dramatically. With restaurants like Din Tai Fung, North Italia, Kalbi Social Club (KBBQ), The Melt, and Pacific Catch all within steps of the mall. After Sears closed, they tore it down and are now building a nice outdoor retail/dining area with some decent restaurants. I'm not sure why apartments taking over a mall parking lot are such a big deal, and not sure I would want to live that close to a major mall, but I assume they make money. The one they do is take up parking. Which is my only complaint. Parking here can be a pain. Whatever you do, never park in the parking garage next to Nordstrom's when it's busy. The cars backed up on the street can be insane, and the guys with the flags to control traffic seem to be there only to help pedestrians cross the road. The last time I tried to park there, we ended up on the very top, which was also full, and only got a spot because someone left. Parking behind the men's/houseware Macy's store used to be great, but then they locked those doors. During the holiday, parking is already bad enough, but with this expanded area, it's only going to get worse. Inside the mall, I do love the mix of stores. The food court has just enough variety to make most people happy. It's also a great mall for walking, especially if you end up parking far enough away from an entrance to earn some extra steps.

Dear Eric, I am…read morewriting to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Tesla Upland Service Center. I scheduled my appointment through the Tesla app and arrived on time, expecting my vehicle to be inspected and repaired. Instead, I was told that the system should never have allowed me to schedule the appointment because the Upland location does not perform this type of repair. I was then directed to a third-party company without receiving any assistance. This experience wasted my time and was extremely frustrating. If the Upland Service Center does not perform this type of repair, Tesla's scheduling system should prevent customers from booking these appointments, or someone should contact the customer in advance to explain the situation. Turning customers away after they arrive is not the level of service I expect from Tesla. I have always appreciated Tesla's products, but this experience fell well below my expectations. I would appreciate an explanation of why this happened, what steps Tesla is taking to prevent similar situations, and whether anything can be done to improve my experience moving forward.
