Bebe has magic hands! I was advised from friends that prenatal massages will be extremely helpful. So I did my research and bookmarked Somar. I'm so glad I did. During my third trimester, I started to feel those hip and back aches and pains. Seriously, as it was my first pregnancy, I wasn't sure what to expect but as baby was getting bigger, he was putting pressure on my hips and found myself hobbling around the office. I knew it was time to make regular appointments with Bebe. Bebe is responsive and accommodating when scheduling appointments. She has the pregnancy pillow that will allow you to rest comfortably on the table while on your belly. Bebe has strong hands and she knows exactly where to focus on to release the tension. Seriously she would come across a knot or source of tension from my hips and work on them and I would feel the release. She makes you feel at ease and shared her extensive knowledge. I also think that my regular appointments with her at the end of my pregnancy helped me prepare for labor so that my hips weren't so tight. Bebe at Somar is a true massage therapist. I had indicated that I wanted a therapeutic massage and she discussed my options and concerns to make sure that was indeed what I needed. I've been dealing with tailbone pain for over a year and have had limited relief after chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy. Bebe was sort of a "hail Mary" attempt to see if she could help and I cannot believe the difference in my pain. She was able to loosen muscles and ligaments with a variety of techniques and kept everything very professional (the location of my problem area could have made it an uncomfortable situation for me). Ya'll this place........1. You have to make an appt/reservation. The appt is just a phone call and no one writes down your information while you think you are making a reservation. The reservation is paying for entire service on Venmo or PayPal. 2 You have to fill out COVID paperwork before your visit, ok. They will tell you they will email said paperwork. When you call to check said appt/reservation you will be asked if you have filled out such paperwork, no because you didn't receive it. Then they proceed to chastise you because YOU didn't call to REMIND them to email you the paperwork? Wait WHAT? 3. Please don't call this business to schedule anything since all of their pertinent information you will need is posted on their website and there front door. Apparently they can't give the correct information on the phone. 4. Here's the kicker.........when you do happen to call and speak to the owner, yes the owner, you are speaking to a 4 year old who would rather have a lollipop than make good on a sad situation. She is blinded by serving the customer and ranting on and on how WE don't understand her way of business. Well lady all of your 5 star reviews have to have been paid for. Massage was just okay to me, it may of had something to do with how self absorbed the owner, Ms. Somar is. I scheduled an appointment with her and without telling me she changed the day, time, and person who would be giving me the massage all so she could go to one of her yoga classes. I'm not entirely sure she's aware of how self-centered she appears. Also comes across very greedy and just generally not a genuine person but she tries to overcompensate by offering yoga and riki(scam) sessions to give a more holistic appearance to her approach when it's clear she does this business for the money and not for the love of anatomy or helping others. Her prices would give the impression that you're going to get a world class massage but instead you just get a smug attitude. If you're in the grapevine area, try Ours therapeutic massage, the building is not quite as nice but I don't pay good money for you to have a nice building, I pay good money for good treatment, and that's exactly what everyone gets when they go see Sunday at Ours therapeutic.
