Here's what I suspect (and I say "suspect" because customer service never explained): the bag was on display in the store for a prolonged period of time and suffered sun damage. Was there any indication of discoloration in the product description? Nope. It's actually appalling, the damage is so bad. Like over $350-for-a-redye bad. Thankfully, even though the item was final sale, customer service did rectify the situation with a full refund. I'm so sad though...that behno bag is sold out everywhere. I hope Rowe reexamines how they handle delicate merchandise like suede so that the quality isn't compromised. I would've expected higher standards from an upscale boutique.

I found the jewelry to be most appealing if you like simple costume or silver chains and small earrings. Jewelry ranges in price from $20-$45 and seems worth it. The collection in general is unique. Clothing is pretty basic styles and a few retro mod pieces ranging from jackets to jeans and plenty of knit shirts. I tried on a cute cotton dress that was reasonably priced. While I was in the room the clerk received a call and I heard her chatting. I was pleased to see that as soon as I left the changing room she put the phone down and was very attentive. I was promptly greeted when I came in and was offered some coffee or water. I had to pass as it was a quick stop but I really liked the vide here. The shop had a bit of everything including clothing, candles, jewelry, and all sorts of gifts including some gorgeous drinking glasses. Definitely worth browsing just to check it all out. Overall, it looked like the general price point is on the higher end but nothing too outrageous for a boutique shop. Clothes Mentor is one of the best and now have an online presence as well - but I love old school browsing, still. After 40 years of buying, today was a first. Today was my first try at selling. I wasn't sure what to expect - but they made the process very simple. I have been purging and donating... hand-selected some brand new with tags jewelry and shoes, along with some gently-used shoes. I did well.... they offered to purchase all of the new items I brought, and I felt the offer was fair. You do receive more funds if you are willing to accept a store credit - but since I'm downsizing, it felt like a good decision to take cash. All in? I dropped off my basket and had a text advising my order was processed. You have 24 hours to meet with the store and discuss the offer to finalize. They keep what you agree to sell and you take back your basket of what they pass on buying (which includes any boxes from items they buy). I recycled the boxes and dropped the rest at a local donation site. Easy! The store is clean, well-organized, and well-staffed. I was helped by 3 people between the drop off and offer and they were all very friendly and helpful. This really is a great way to reduce, reuse, and recycle fashion and accessories.
