This bra experience was what I've only seen in the movies. I have not had proper fitting bras since I had my last baby in 2015. Time, and priorities just made it hard to get in somewhere and grab what my changing body needed. My husband brought me into Soma today and Stefani was the fairy "bra" mother I needed. She gave my husband a chair, and we got to work. She was thorough and listened to my needs ands concerns. She gave me space to try on, and stayed close to observe. It was an absolutely delightful experience. Now, undergarments are expensive. That may be another reason I took so long to restock. But these are beautiful pieces. First time visitor and I was beyond impressed. Everything was organized and the store well managed, employees were so friendly and helpful, a bunch made sure to make their rounds acknowledging every customer. You can tell the employees have a great rapport as they all got along so well. Their pajama sets made me fall in love as they were as soft as butter, would definitely be back to browse and shop some more. The only thing that could be improved is maybe opening another register as we waited in a line for quite a bit while one employee juggled sales and returns alone. read more

Tara and the other ladies at Soma have been so kind and helpful to find me bras to wear with my mastectomy prothesis. I needed very soft fabric and no underwires to irritate my chest scars but still fit well and looked pretty. Very happy with their suggestions and understanding of a sensitive issue. They are busy and the store is not that large so it's important to be patient and wait your turn. More than worth it! All I can say to people complaining about the wait is ...chill out girls! Today my mom and I went into Soma at the Temecula Mall. M mom needed a new bra, and also had a gift card from her birthday.mwe were greeted and helped by a lovely girl named Madison. She was very sweet, patient, attentive, and helpful. She took her time to measure my mom and came back to the fittig room couple times to have her try on different bras too. We were there for about half an hour looking and trying on and etc. Madison helped us the whole entire time. When my mom came out of the dressing room, a very cold older lady came up and snatched the bras out of hand without even asking me(because I was holding the two she ended up wanting) and said which ones do you want of these. My mom told her both. So she then took us up to the register, to rim us up. I am unsure if this store is commission or not, but if so, Madison should have received it. Anyways, she tells us that if we spent $80 ten we would get $20 off today. My mom tells her okay. She then says how are u paying, in which my mom told her fifty on a gift card and the remainder as credit. She then tells my mom, oh no, you should save the gift card so you can use the $20 today....my mom tells her well, no I want to use my gift card today and also the $20 off too. She then tells my mom, whatever, if that is what you want to do. and rolls her eyes. At this point, I am already irritated by this lady. I've worked retail for about 16 years, in supervisor/assistant manager positions, and would never have been so rudem not allowed one of m employees to be so rude. But I kept my mouth shut, hey, maybe she is having a bad day or something....so she runs the card and says now u owe $36....my mom says, wait why? It should be $16 with the $20 off. She then tells my mom, yeah see thats what I was telling you. But no, you said you rater use the gift card. My mom then tells her, no I said I wanted BOTH. WHAT DOES IT EVEN MATRR WHAT MY FORM OF PAYMENT IS. IM STILL SPENDING $80. The lady proceeds to say how she can't do that and have a bad attitude, my mom tells her I guess I just don't understand why this is an issue and I told my mom yeah this makes no sense at all to me....like hello, apply the discount. Then pay with the gift card and have the customer then pay the remainder.....in which the lady then says, ven tho I was not even speaking to her rude, nasty self, well, t makes perfect sense to me. Then another employee came over, I assuming a supervisor....she assisted, figured it out....and once she told the lady do this and this etc. My mom then said okay yeah see that is what I was saying I wanted to do, the lady then tells my mom, NO you said you wanted to pay with the gift card first and not receive the $20 off today. My mom then told her, no, I did not, why would I say I don't want to get the $20 off, in which e cuts my mom off and says it was just a misunderstanding.....and the supervisor lady then also says yes, I was just a misunderstanding.....which it was NOT. At this point I could not help myself, and allowed, to my mom, I then said, you know what. Whenever I did something wrong at work, I just said I am so sorry, I misunderstood you, or I am so sorry, I didn't know you could also get the $ off when using a gift card, I took responsibility.....heck, even if the customer was actually wrong, I still would apologize and make it right, I never once blamed the customer or just said we misunderstood one another to place the blame off myself, that is just wild. The lady then jumped in again saying abruptly, it was a miscommunication. Clearly, she did not understand the point I was trying to make, about having good customer service. Aside from ALL of this, prior to this whole ordeal, wen first ringing us up, my five and eight year old went by the front door, ready to leave already, then saw the big mirror and started to stand in front of it and lean on it, in which, I then told them to not do that. Along with my mom telling them, come stand je here by us. This lady then also decides to yell at. Kids telling them to not go by the mirror.....like lady, I just told my kids not to do it.,.,they already were walking away, I understand if a parent isn't saying something and u r worried about the kids safety or don't want them in an area, if you kindly say something, but if the parent already addressed the issue, then why are you yelling at my kids? I am pretty sure she realized how mean she was towards them too cause then she tried to say oh just would be horrible if it fell on them or something, which was weird too....but yeah, I am digressing, sorry, lol. read more

They have a much wider range of bra sizes here than what they have a Victoria Secret. So 32DD gals, you won't be left out in the cold here. Also the girls are trained bra fitters, so they can measure you and make sure everything is fitting the way it should. Pricey? Yes. But so is Victoria Secret and we females all know how much we still love it. And we also know good bras just don't come cheap, especially for those who wear hard to find bra sizes. Recently bought some bras - some I love and some that are painful after wearing a few hours. I did want a pretty new bra I saw so went to The Forum in Carlsbad and they didnt have my size and said I'd have to drive to Temecula (33 miles away) or wait over a week for it to be shipped. The matching panties were full price (18), but I could get 5 pairs for 39 - EXCEPT once again, they didn't have my size. (BTW I'm 5'9 and weigh 150 pounds). I drove as I really wanted this bra and was going on vacation in a couple days. When I picked up the bra all my coupons I had I was told were "recently expired" although I had just gotten them and didn't see any print showing an expiration on them. No problem, but what really irked me was that the only sale I could use was purchasing over 100 dollar worth of products and since my one bra, and one pair of panties only came to $80 I couldn't get any discount. They refused to combine my two items anyways as I had to drive to two separate stores. REALLY? What stopped me from returning my panties at first store and then repurchasing at the second? Seemed too annoying to deal with or explain to them. In addition, I WANTED to purchase more panties, but they didn't have enough in the store to make 5 pairs to put the sale into action. HUH? Bottom line - good luck trying to use any coupons. Once in the store - good luck finding the sizes you want or need. If you do - try on - not all are comfortable. IF you can get something you like - it can be pretty nice, but I'm not sure it's worth all the trouble. I hate feeling too like I'm driving and trying to work with them, but feeling disrespected in return with poor customer service. read more

I am a first time mom adjusting to my new body. Walking in with my husband and baby I , was greeted by 3 wonderful women. And although it was 15 minutes before closing, these ladies reassured me that the time wasn't an issue. Judy helped me find what I needed. She made me so comfortable from beginning to end. I followed my sister into the store because she had mentioned that the bra she invested in was very comfortable. Immediately we were greeted by the employee who had made sure if we had any questions to seek her out. There is an array of under garments. They also have a selection of sleepwear and a small selection of perfumes. There was plenty of colors and styles of bras to choose from. We asked the employee to guide us to the line my sister was in search for, and Alexis gladly took us exactly where we needed to go. I have to agree the bra was comfortable, but because I'm in the midst of trying to lose some weight I did not want to invest in a bra since the prices are not what I normally pay for a bra. I will wait for the right time, but I did buy a rollerball perfume. You can sign up for coupons and if you give your email you will be notified when they have deals going on. The store is a comfortable size, there is plenty of room to move around comfortably. The dressing room is spacious too with enough hooks to place your things. My sister recommended Soma as a great spot to get fitted tonight for a nice bra so we headed over. The girls in the store were AMAZING! Immediately offered to help us and asked us what we were looking for in particular. The store is beautiful and even smelled good when we walked in. It's organized and not overwhelming at all. The young lady that helped me brought in the PERFECT bra the first time. It fit me like a glove and I fell in love! I can't wait to go back and get more! My financé visited the Soma Intimates location on January 1st 2019. She needed help with exchanging of a couple of items that did not fit correctly that she had purchased at the Escondido store. When she arrived at the store her interaction with both the sales associate and then the manager went sour. The sales associate was snappy and had a bad attitude. The manager was nonchalant and spoke in a condecending manner to her. She was unhelpful and said that they could not exchange her items because she said so. No other reason was given. As a long time customer of Soma Intimates it is hard to believe that the company finds this acceptable. My lady will never purchase anything from Soma Intimates again and the rude manager, the bad attitude having associate will not realize why until the store goes out of business. Why this attitude is accepted by the company is beyond conception. Karma will come back to this store. Good luck in the future Soma Intimates. This place has a very small selection, and the woman who fitted me squeezed me into a bra 3x smaller than it should've been. The band was huge, and so she tried to fit me into a cup super small to make up the difference, and in doing so made the bra look like it fit. I was kind of rushed and pushed to buy these as quickly as possible, so I didn't really get a moment to think on it. When I purchased the bra and came home to start wearing them, I noticed how horrible they fit in motion. Now I have to take time out to return them. If you're a thin and curvy woman, or petite with small bust, go to a professional fitter. This place might be okay for someone with an average bust/band ratio. read more

I was very impressed with the quality of the items for sale and the staff was very nice and very helpful! I purchased a bra similar to one I have been wearing from VS for many years and the price was very similar but the quality seems much better and the fit is much more comfortable! I really like this store. The only problem I have is that they don't sell dresses all year long. I absolutely love their dresses and I have been buying them over the past 2 years. I have at least 10. The staff is very nice and helpful. The maxi dresses are a little bit expensive (approx $89.99) but they have a good selection to choose from and the dresses go on sale rather quickly. I've never been able to wait until they go on sale though. Lol......... read more

Unfortunately, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I too had an issue with a coupon. I purchased a defective item and when I went to return it, they wouldn't apply my coupon to my new purchase. I contacted customer service and after 3 email back and forth, Soma won't do anything. I have purchased many bras and panties from them and referred friends. That will no longer be the case. I purchased a bra at the Escondido store and the other color I was looking for wasn't there. They told me that the Temecula store did have it and they could ship it for free. I was excited I didn't have to drive there! I placed my order and that part went smoothly. They told me it would arrive within 2-5 days. It has been almost 2 weeks and nothing. I called the store and they said they didn't have my complete address on the package and was being delivered back to them. They implied , very rudely, it was MY fault since I "didn't give them all the info" (when I placed the order the sales lady gave it to them as well as I repeated it again COMPLETELY ). I told them I would rather them have them give me a refund for the product. They said they can't do anything until they get it. back. They said it should be back any day. I called back on Sunday, I was told I would get a call from the manager. I never did. It has now been almost 3 weeks and no call back and no refund to my account. I will NEVER shop at this store again. Not in any form. Management isn't on top of issues, and products aren't being delivered. They sure did charge my account right away though! read more

When checking out this review, please keep in mind that 99% of my reviews are all positive and 5 stars. I wish I didn't have to give such a bad review because it means I had such a bad experience to warrent this. I had purchased a number of things in this store and had a problem with the invisible line panties. They were pulling and the insides were ripping badly. I don't judge a store by a problem as much as how they handle a problem. Because I had not purchased them in the last 60 days the woman told me I was out of luck - this was AFTER acknowledging that they had a defect with one of those lines and have since corrected it. As I indicated that the time of the purchase shouldn't be effected by a defect in the product and all I was looking for was to handle this in a service type manner. She basically said they would do nothing but she would have the manager call me later that day. I said please make sure the manager does call as she could see I was upset. In the end I got no satisfaction and no call. I would never shop there again because of the way they handled this. If they sell a defected product they should stand by it. They lost my business and others I use to shop with all over 3 pairs of panties. Poor business and poor product. read more
