I needed all new bras so I tried out soma. Right off the bat friendly staff greeted me and I explained what I was looking for. She offered me a bra fit which was done using this cool measuring bra called an innofit. I tried on multiple bras but ended up with enbliss the softest bra in store. I got bralettes, a wireless option, and the full coverage. I also bought 3 vanishing back 360's that have a smoothing bra band which helps shirts look smoother. After I got 6 bras I did explore the panties, pajamas, and apparel. The associate was very knowledgeable and explained all the underwear styles. I ended getting vanishing edge that does not show any lines and vanishing tummy which also leaves no underwear lines and has a tummy panel in to hold everything in. The pajamas are made from rayon so they are extremely soft. I got 2 sleep-shirts made from rayon and their "cool nights" line which ensures you have room to breath in your pajamas at night. I did end up buying a cardigan as well because once again very soft and great quality. The associate patiently and kindly helped me through this whole experience and when it was time to check out she explained the rewards program which I took advantage of and signed up for. I really didn't know much about bra care so she explained the best bra care and showed me the lingerie bag and soap they carry which I also purchased to take care of my new bras. Overall it was a great experience and there return policy is accommodating. You can return anything within 60 days worn or washed. Lastly I am grateful they offer options to all body sizes so you don't feel so self conscious about your figure. read more

SOMA is a great store as long as you don't have an issue. I have purchased hundreds of items from them over the years but now I'm done. I have a bra that I wore one time and it had an edge so sharp that it scratched my back and left a mark. I wanted an exchange but because it had been 60 days they wouldn't do anything. These bras cost about $60. Over the years there's been a steady decline in their product. I wouldn't recommend them at all. They do not stand behind their products. read more

I stopped in to be sized and new bras. The girl sized me and offered a few styles. None of them were really comfortable. She kept repeating that I could return them if I changed my mind. Which I appreciate, however if its not comfortable in the store at won't be later either. It is easy to feel self conscious and unsure when buying intimate apparel but Irene completely put my mind at ease. I have struggled to find good fitting bras for a while and have heard good things about Soma. I had to wait a little bit to get some help from the associate because the other associate was on the phone. But the one that helped me was excellent. She took the time to measure me and then came back with plenty of bras for me to try on. It took quite a few times of her going get me different sizes and options to find a good fit and some that I really liked, but she was very patient. And now I have a few terrific fitting bras. I am really happy with my choices. The prices were affordable for a good bra in my opinion. The associate also showed me some other items that I might be interested in and pointed out some good sales on panties without being pushy. The only detraction was that there were 2 associates working and the one was on the phone most of the time I was there. I thought that was weird because the associate that was working with me was pretty busy helping out the customers. read more

I have had my bra that I ordered form Soma for less than 6 months. The wire is already sticking out. I emailed to see what can be done. They only have warranties on unused and not washed items. I only washed my bras by hand. I thought as much as these bras cost they should last longer than this. Won't be ordering from Soma any longer. I used to brag about their bras. read more

I can't believe that someone had bad service here--this was my third visit (never thought to see if intimates was on yelp) and they were everything you would expect from an upscale intimates store. I was greeted at the door--not hurried or rushed or pressured. I bought gift certificates for my daughters here so they could get a GOOD fitting. I am not a fan of other stores that share a color name (just sayin) because I am not bombarded with bling and loud music. I also found that the quality control regarding sizing to be inconsistent My previous visit this summer made me want to come back. I wandered in and was looking through the supply of beautiful lingerie and was about to make a purchase when I thought what the heck, maybe I should get a proper fitting. Turns out I have been wearing the wrong size for years. The salesperson spent close to an hour with me and it was a busy day, but I never felt neglected. I decided which style I liked and color and my salesperson told me that they were having a special sale on that style and that some of the other colors were marked down and on the sale rack!!!!! I am a older guy that is currently going through transition and needed to be fitted for my first bra. I must admit that I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. However, ALL the girls in the shop were just wonderful and welcomed me with open arms. The girl that fitted me explained EVERYTHING about bras and what I should consider. I wound up with a beautiful blue bralet that fit perfect. I was so excited that I kept it on. After walking out, I felt like a real woman for the first time thanks to those girls. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I don't remember putting on my invisibility cloak this morning but I guess I must have because that's how I felt in this store, invisible! I got the impression that you better enter the dressing room with an arm load of clothes not just 1 or 2 bras if you want any attention from the women working there. I guess they don't want to waste their time helping you if they don't think they can make a good commission on you. As I left the store I commented to one of the saleswomen how unhappy I was with the terrible customer service. She smirked and very insincerely and said, "Oh, I'm sorry." Very good bras. Would have given them five stars except the staff is clearly commissioned based and is only interested in sales, not customer service. I went in there with a return, gift box and receipt in hand. I stood at the front desk for a very long time with no one offerering to help me even though I counted five employees in the store. One brunette with a ponytail even made eye contact with me as she walked past me at the counter and then helped someone who had JUST walked into the door. Just as I felt like shouting, "am I invisible?" someone came to help me. She convinced me to try on a few of the invisible line bras and they actually were very comfortable and flattering. I ended up buying two off the clearance rack, so the pricing was comparable to a Victoria's Secret clearance bra. I think I like the Soma ones better though. Not sure if I will go back only because of the sales staff's attitude. read more
