After I healed, I started to run again and after a few more runs, I pulled the other calf muscle. I started to do research to determine if it is the shoe that is causing the issues. After my research, it certainly can be the shoe. So I decided to go to Road Runner Sports to see what they would recommend. I didn't mention that I did some research on my own but I did let them know I had calf issues. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the staff and they asked me if they can be of any assistance. I let them know that I was interested in getting new running shoes. They let me know about the process where they would film the way my feet hit the ground to see impact. My walk is filmed while I take a stroll on a treadmill. After, it is reviewed by them and they show me how my feet hit the ground. I then was custom fitted with shoe inserts - optional to buy. Then we looked at some shoe recommendations. I selected a couple pairs to try on. I selected a pair and decided to keep the inserts. The good news is that the inserts were FSA Eligible. I was offered a Road Runner Membership for $19.99 for the first year and $49.99 after the first year. The membership pretty much paid for itself and I would get 10% off purchases all year for me and my family. I've had a few walks and a couple runs and these shoes are really comfy. By the way, the shoe recommendation aligned with my online research.

They said that they would research it and get back to me. 5 days later they got back to me and said since it was past the return policy date they could do nothing. Really! Why didn't they tell me that up front when I provided all that information. What a waste of time! Never did the customer rep. or store say anything regarding the return policy until they decision was made. Now I'm stuck with a suit case with a handle that doesn't work. They just lost a customer and they don't care. I have other choices like Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club or Kohls. Not Sierra!

I've been to the Deer Park Town Center many times. They have a lot of shops that I love. They are also home to some of my favorite restaurants, including Biaggis, California Pizza Kitchen, and Stoney River. There is plenty of parking and the layout makes it easy to find the shops you are looking for. I look forward to seeing what shops and amenities Deer Park Town Center adds in the future. I highly recommend Deer Park Town Center!
