Erika and Sarah are two amazing owners and artist that have combined their powers to create such a beautiful experience that serves the community and each and every way. This store has multiple rooms with multiple vintage items. I myself got a ring that I wear every single day, and prince one piece bathing suit that is derived of a painting that Erika made herself. I also bought little silk vintage Asian outfits for my toddlers, as they have a great children's selection as well. They were playing the movie Grease in the store and they have wonderful music. The dressing rooms are all music themed and a lot of the store is inspired by music and art. The value of the clothes are also great. The business owners do well in making great deals. I have never found a vintage store quite like this place. I am from Los Angeles, where we have a ton of vintage stores, and this one in Maryland has swept me away. I have never met anyone who incorporates their own art into a vintage fashion in my whole life.

When I walked in Yvette was so nice and so helpful. I told her the problems I have had with jeans and she knew which ones would work for me. I ended up walking out with 2 pairs of jeans and a shirt. I haven't felt that good walking out of a clothes store in some time. So I hope she knows how much that meant to me!

The woman on the phone had a tone as if she was annoyed with me trying to figure out the best place to park to ensure my walk was as short as possible. I made it to the store and ALEXIS was the Lovely Lady who was so kind and patient while I got sized and also assisted in getting me the right strapless bra. SHE WAS AMAZING AND I GIVE HER 5+ STARS!!!!! SHE WAS AWESOME and even sold me another bra lol I went to checkout and was met with a slight attitude at first as I explained that my purchase was online and I needed to find the receipt in my email with the barcode. She was a bit condescending and seemed impatient while I searched for it and told her that I couldn't find the email with the barcode as she asked but only ones with order updates. Once I reveal this to her, she said oh I can use that email. I'll just type in the order number... If she said that in the beginning, then they would not have been an issue of waiting... I digress. Once the transaction was complete, she shoved the two bras into a small bag and until My Sister made a comment about the bag, she then says, would you prefer a bigger bag? For $120 worth of bras, which is only 2, I'm not sure why the larger bag wasn't offered in the first place. Her name is Deja or Dacia or Dascia (pronounced Dey-Sha) Absolutely awful attitudinal woman who needs to reset before helping people. Customer service was thr worst. SMH BUT ALEXIS WAS AMAZING!!!!!!

Lee did my hair and makeup creating a glamorous and flirty look. All I have to say is, watch out Tyra... you have some competition! They created a comfortable environment and helped me get in the mood with an upbeat music playlist that unleashed my inner diva. The overall experience was thrilling to say the least. I truly felt like a super model in New York shooting the cover of Vogue magazine. I was overwhelmed with joy when I saw the quality of the pictures. They were absolutely flawless and captured my inner beauty. I cried and said, "Wow, is that really me?!" I'm still in awe of the phenomenal photographic skill set Leslie possesses. She is a true artist. You might ask why I applied for the Lavish Boudoir Body Love Project. Well, my passion has always been plus size modeling and my dream is to one day be featured in a glitzy magazine or online representing a classy company like Lavish Boudoir. I was told when I met Leslie in person that I was picked sight unseen for this project. She loved my story. I spoke from my heart and here it is... I decided to change my life 4 years ago and make myself a priority. I learn how to live a sober and sassy life, one day at a time. My daughter Presli was my reason why. She deserves the world and I planned on giving it to her. I worked very hard to put all of my broken pieces back together. I learned to love myself and that I was worth it. My mission now is to empower other likeminded women and to lead by example. My favorite quote is " I love the woman I have become, because I fought to become her." I am turning 40 soon and I truly believe there is beauty in every age. I choose to love my body as it is right now and to celebrate my many accomplishments. When I got to Lavish Boudoir I was in awe. These photos are beautiful. Sign me up! And I'm so glad I did. The whole process made me feel like a superstar. Started with a beverage, makeup done by a professional and a multiple outfit photoshoot throughout various places in the studio. The photographer, Leslie doesn't just take incredible photos, she also made the experience fun. Yes, at first it's odd to be in lingerie around someone you don't know, but because of Leslie and the professionalism of her company I was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Then the reveal of the photos was also a luxurious experience. To this day, I look at my photos and feel gorgeous and elated that I chose Lavish Boudoir.

Annapolis has got a ton of little clothing shops and odds and ends but THE COTTAGE's selection was top notch. They had bracelets, bags, decor, clothes...you name it. I'm from the south and live in Ohio now, but this shop was reminiscent of the shops in the south. Classy and prices reasonable for the quality they carry, plus the staff were so hospitable. Hopefully I'll be stopping in on a regular basis if I get a Mid class 2031.

To differentiate between the two locations they are calling the downtown Annapolis store The Cottage on Main and the Severna Park store The Cottage in The Park. The inventory between the two stores seems very similar. I can almost always find something to buy at this great local, small business. Here are some of my most recent finds: - Avanti greeting cards often featuring funny animals. They are the best! - Keva leather jewelry. It's light and so comfortable to wear. - Farmhouse Fresh lotions and soaps. Great quality and not overbearing scents. - Hobo purses and wallets. Awesome colors, practical designs and yummy leather. - A variety of thoughtful and sweet baby gifts. Lots of pretty prints. - Boho bandeaus. I really like these for working out in the yard. - Rifle Paper Co. stemless drinking glasses. Seems great for anything. - Although not personally a favorite of mine, popular brands like Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott and Swig. Since this location is in downtown Annapolis parking is a consideratoin. On an early weekday morning you might be able to grab a metered spot our front. The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is nearby too. Or you can always drive 15 minutes to the Severna Park location where parking is plentiful. Overall, The Cottage on Main is a great addition to downtown Annapolis.
