I visited Grekin Skin Institute May 7, 2024 for flaky skin on my face. The doctor saw me for about…read more5 minutes and sprayed a cold spray onto the affected area. They billed BCBS $420 for a "surgery". No anesthesia or cutting were performed. No expensive equipment utilized. And yet they feel they have the right to charge $420 for this. That's on top of $466 just to walk in the door for a total billed of $866. The contracted price brings this down to $269 which is still absurd. This is insurance fraud plain and simple. They billed a surgery for something that should not have been charged considering the walk in the door fee. The billing department was totally uninterested in this matter and never returned my calls. If you are interested in being scammed/overcharged and want to contribute to rising insurance costs definitely check out Grekin!

Ayas mother also present tried to deescalate the conflict. Ayas brother and Aya proceed to call the police and trespass me for speaking up for myself and my body. This place is an absolute crime and they delete their google reviews and pay AI bots to delete bad reviews. Please do yourself a favor and don't go to this corrupted place. Unethical, unprofessional. It's sad that I had to write this but I have no choice but to inform others of the horror that goes on at this med spa.

Services and pricing were not clearly explained beforehand, yet I was charged anyway. The amount was shockingly high -- far beyond what I later learned is typical for this procedure. After speaking with others in the industry, I was told they had never even heard of charging that much for it. When I raised questions, the response from the owner felt dismissive and unprofessional, which only added to my concerns. Transparency and clear communication are extremely important when it comes to services like these, and unfortunately that was lacking here. I have also noticed that some negative reviews from other clients appear to disappear over time, which raises questions about how feedback is handled. Between the lack of communication, questionable practices, and the way feedback seems to be handled, I would strongly advise people to think twice before spending their money here. There are far more reputable places that treat clients with honesty and

But that's exactly what happened at Beautilab. Leah, my Daxxify guru, managed to turn my stubborn crows' feet and frown lines into nothing but a fading memory, faster than my morning coffee disappears. And speaking of coffee, it's genuinely good here. Not "waiting room afterthought" good, but the kind you'd pay for on purpose. Leah is a magician, equal parts passionate, caring, and just the right amount of funny to distract you from the fact that you're willingly letting someone poke your face. She walked me through everything, answered my million questions, and made me feel like I was just catching up with a friend who happens to be a wrinkle assassin. The rest of the staff? Equally on point. Welcoming, efficient, and not a grumpy face in sight. The whole vibe is warm, friendly, and just a little bit fabulous. It's rare to find a place where you feel this cared for and genuinely seen. Five stars, ten if I could. If you want to leave looking refreshed and actually enjoy the experience, this is your place. P.S. If you leave with wrinkles, it's only from laughing.
