We spent maybe an hour to an hour and a half here, but could have stretched it to two hours tops. You get a chance to feed the emus and ostriches, just be mindful of the tips and tricks that the staff give you to avoid any errant pecking or biting. Lots of photo opportunities to be had. We even saw a little cat mascot napping away outside the gift shop. There is a penny stamping machine and lots of other great gift options available as well. We got a little ostrich marionette that our son loves, as well as some faux ostrich leather pieces. The staff person in the store was very friendly and informative. The ostrich eggs that they sell are pretty cool and they do sell some ostrich jerky, but it is not from the ostriches on this farm, so no worries there :) Prices in 2026 were $10 per adult and $5 per child + $1 to feed the ostriches. Parking is easy and ample. Restrooms are available.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. The olive oil tasting farm is located in a nice neighborhood area in downtown Los Olivos. There is parking accessible in the back parking lot and limited parking next to the olive oil tasting area and boutique shop. As soon as we parked and headed to the olive oil tasting area, we were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable staff member. I appreciated all the information she told us about the property and instructions about the olive oil tasting experience. Their complimentary olive oil tasting was unique and unlike any other olive oil tasting I had ever done before. There were 10 different olive oils to taste from. You are given a freshly made sourdough bread slice to go along with a tray with a menu sheet of all the olive oils. Some of the olive oils that stood out to me were the white truffle, garlic, and Italian honey. We were then encouraged to explore the rest of the property where there was a charcuterie cart, pottery vendor, and complimentary wine tasting on the other side of the premises. This enhanced our olive oil tasting experience even more. The rest of the property was beautiful as there were a lot of tables and chairs for guests to enjoy. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Olive + Lavender Farms. The staff were nice and accommodating. The vibe was relaxing and inviting. The boutique shop were selling a lot of wonderful and distinctive local products in the area. The olive oils price point are in the higher end. Next time we are in the area we would love to come back.

Jessi (the manager) is helpful, calm, organized and is just one of those people that can see a problem before it happens and deal with it quickly and quietly. And she has a stellar staff. Not only farm fresh, but delicious- and the hot dishes were served hot- not luke warm. The property was clean, fun to explore, and breezy despite very hot weather. Jessi coordinated with us for the months leading up to the event, and her planning and communication were fantastic every step of the way. Our employees had an amazing time! Riding the tractor was a hit, visiting with the Scottish Highland Mini Bull was so much fun, and our animal encounter with the goat was a favorite too. The lunch was great -- the sandwiches were served on homemade bread that was really tasty. The setting was perfect, with ample shade, a nice breeze, and comfortable temperatures. If you're looking for a venue for a company party or special event, I can't recommend Vega Vineyard & Farm highly enough. It's on the home system. We paid the $2 per person to go in. They only have a few animals there to pet but they all seemed nice and used to people. Most of them walked to us wanting to be pet. I only wished there was someone there so we could've gotten food to feed the animals. Iwould've given 5 stars if they had that. Overall for the price it was totally worth it. If they charged more I probably wouldn't have gone but for $2 totally worth it to the kids.

My boyfriend and I were both nervous because we'd never been around horses but Chelsea taught us exactly what to do. We felt very comfortable around them. We got to visit with the mini horses and some burritos. They were so cute! It was so much fun! She also gave us some great business advice as we are planning on opening our own farm in the future. We can't wait to go back to visit!

The horses are very friendly and it was fun to brush them and see their various personalities. The mini donkey is my favorite because he's quite snuggly, he leans into you. This was a relaxing experience, perfect way to spend an hour or so in the morning or afternoon while in the area. They also have a goat experience and other activities. You can tell that Chelsea takes excellent care of her animals, she takes pride in sharing them with others.

There was a variety of displays, colorful photo rooms, and a circus performance. This event seems to be more geared toward kids so don't expect high tech lighting and effects. For the price I thought it was ok but for a big family it can be quite costly. Going toward the end of the event will be a cheaper and less crowded.
