This company did landscaping/hardscaping for us on several occasions. The quality of the work and the communication with the owner deteriorated in each instance. As a "for instance", they were doing work for us on a scale that required a small bulldozer. After starting, no one showed up for the next two days. I asked the owner what happened (in a very reasonable way) and he had a melt down. It seems he had another job going at the same time and he thought it was outrageous that I questioned where he dispatched his workers; that I had no business expecting the work at my house would continue every day until completed. Alberto then went on to be vulgar and insulting. That's his true personality. There are many companies that do the type of work this company does at a better price with better workmanship. I know because I've done business with several. Don't waste your time or money with this company. read more

We signed a contract on May 16th with this company for a stamped patio, sitting wall, fire pit, new back entry steps, new front stamped cement walkway with new front steps, side entry steps to be replaced, and to replace 10 pieces of flagstone that we provided for our front sidewalk. We have paid every payment that was asked of us on time and even paid an additional charge for the extra pavers for our back steps that were not factored into the project. We have given this company to date, Oct 23, a total of $15,000 and have not seen anywhere near that amount of work. This project has been going on for over 4 MONTHS now (start date was July 27th). The owner, Rosie, ignores our questions, doesn't return messages and lies about when work will be done. We are aware that we have had some some hiccups in the project related to the rainy summer, as well as a permit issue (but that was resolved in 4 business days). At one point in the project, the workers demolished all three entrances to my house, leaving the debris right where they broke it apart and left for the day. There was absolutely NO WAY to safely get in or out of my house. My back yard is a total disaster. I have two small children that can't even play outside because of this. The first day of workers showed up was July 27th. On that day, the owner's wheel of her car broke. That same broken tire is still sitting in my back yard (yes, going on about 3 months now). Some weeks we have people working for total of about 1-3 hours, most weeks nobody shows up at all. This is a total nightmare. When we initially met with Alberto(Alberto and Rosie are married) who told us the project would be completed in about 8weeks. We were ok with the project asking a little longer than expected, but NEVER thought it would take this long. We want this project complete ASAP. read more

I called for a quote on a stamped concrete walkway. I specified a time needed by. As this was for my elderly parents' home, I mentioned the Senior Discount that they offered on their website (10%). I also mentioned the Concrete Network (which is how I found them). Their Concrete Network info said that if you mention the Concrete Network, you will get a 10% discount. So, that's at least a 10% discount, if not a 20% discount. I had to call about 4 more times before I got the quote emailed to me. She said that it had been emailed previously, but they were having issues with their email. (Always blame it on the email.) The quote was professionally done. No time frame was specified on the start or completion date. (That's a red flag.) No mention of the 2 discounts that I had referenced. However, there was a 15% discount if we signed within 15 days, and a 10% discount if signed within 30 days. This "discount" strategy is very suspicious, and almost seems fraudulent. Who knows what the real price is? Where does the Senior Discount come in? Or, the Concrete Network discount? I can't say if their work is good or bad. But, the response to my request for quote was sub-par. And the "discounts" offered seem to be pulled out of thin air. I recommend seeking out a company with a better reputation and better customer service. Won't give them a 1-star rating, since they did, at least, provide a quote that was specified out relatively well (except for the start/finish dates, etc.) read more

I would like to spare anyone the anguish that I have gone through with Solutions People Inc. by writing this review. I signed a contract with this company in February 2015 to construct a paver patio, sitting wall, and pergola. Communication was great to start with as Alberto and Rosie helped me with suggestions for this project. They even helped me with obtaining a permit which in itself was problematic. Things went downhill after the first day of construction. I never knew when anyone would show up after that first day. Communication was primarily one way with me contacting Rosie, the project manager. No one would show up for days until I pleaded that this project was going too slowly. Then ONE man would show up just to appease me. Sometimes 2 men would show up and they were very dedicated and hard working. Alberto told me when I signed the contract that his men would be on the job 6 days a week until the job was done. (What a bunch of BS). Well months passed (it is now June!) and the patio was finally finished, the sitting wall partially finished and the pergola just started. The ONE man who started the pergola used materials not provided in the pergola set. No one has shown up since. Phone calls were not answered and emails were ignored. The pergola can no longer be constructed with the materials provided since they used their own materials. I have been left hanging with an uncompleted project. Also supplies that I paid for in advance have not all been delivered. Tools, trash and debris are still on my property. I contacted the BBB but so far Solutions People has not responded to them. I'm sure they do have some satisfied clients but don't count me as one of them! Make sure you get a completion date with any contractor with a penalty for days past this date! Well 2 weeks later the sitting wall was completed and all supplies delivered, but the incorrect posts were installed for the pergola. I told them I would finish the project myself by installing the pergola after I trimmed down the incorrect posts they installed. They did respond to the BBB (finally) and said they would remove the cost of the pergola from the contract. Somehow "their" contract looks a lot different from the one I have in my possession as the installation cost of the pergola has not been entirely removed. In 3 days, it will be July and the job site still has not been cleaned up. I will now do that myself too! read more

Sorry to hear that some folks didn't have a positive experience with Solution People, but please remember there are three sides to every story. In the Spring, we met with Alberto and Natalia and they were both very professional. We also met with two other contractors but decided to go with Solution People to have a walkway installed because they were able to give us a clear description of the procedure and the material. We watched the process from beginning to end just as we do with anyone who comes into our home to do work. They were always available whenever we had questions or thoughts either via phone or email. They were exceptional, everyone was professional, accommodating and pleasant to have around. All the guys worked hard throughout the project. They did a fabulous job and our Flagstone walkway looks great. They even went above and beyond our expectations. 5+ stars! Use this company. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. VERY POOR SERVICE. Apparently previously known as All Decorative Concrete since the phone number goes to Solution People and the people have the same names. I paid a deposit in April, the work was to be done in May. They scheduled a couple of times, never showed up and never called. Last year I had $4500 worth of work done on a stamped concrete driveway and walkway through the Solution People and the whole experience was awful. Now only a year later I've had to have the driveway completely resurfaced, and when I called to complain they wouldn't answer my calls. I hope no one else has to go through this. read more

This company came highly recommended. Someone did come out to evaluate the problem and promised they would be in contact within 2 weeks with an estimate. Three months later after many calls still no estimate. Now it is a social experiment and though they didn't do any work their customer service is appalling. If you don't want the job just say so. read more

Solutions people reasealed our stamped concrete patio last June. Paid additional money for a second coat of sealant. Less than one year later the sealant is peeling, chipping and cracking. When I reached out to them I was advised that there is no warranty for the reseal work. I explained that their work is less than one year old, we paid extra for a second coat so it would last longer. They advised they would come back out to take a look and see what could be done or offer suggestions. Never showed up. Reached back out before Easter and was told due to the weather they didn't come but would be out that week (before Easter)Again never showed up. Followed up twice since with no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY We paid an awful lot of money to have our patio look like crap basically. Have a little pride in your work and your company. Your customer service is horrible! Already I process of having your work redone and was told by that contractor that you are way overpriced. Will never recommend your services and will be reaching out to the BBB. read more
