SEND THEM PICTURES AND THEY NEVER SEND A QUOTE!!…read more I contacted Beaver Building & Remodeling for some carpentry work. When I contacted the company to get an estimate for the work, I thought I would be scheduling an appointment considering the company is 10 miles from my home. Closeby in the contractor world considering they serve Horsham and a few other local towns in the area. I spoke with Christy on November 2nd and discussed the work that I needed. A built-in wall cabinet needed to have some shelves replaced as well as the fascia and molding pieces. In addition the surrounding drywall and insulation needed to be replaced. Christy asked if I could send pictures of the area in question so they can get me a quote. I was immediately skeptical! During Covid I would expect this answer, but in 2023, it didn't make sense! Ok, I take pics and text them over to Christy before 12:30 PM on November 2nd. When we spoke, she also told me they could get me a quote in two days. Today is November 8th and since I had not received a quote, I sent a text to Christy asking....where is my quote. Then I called the office where I was rolled to voicemail. I left a message and moved on to other business. Kevin called me back and left a message saying, "That they couldn't help me and he was sorry that he did not call me sooner. It was his fault! Call back with questions!" I returned his call and he gave me the explanation that "They don't do any rehab carpentry or custom carpentry work. If you have something to assemble from Home Depot or Ikea, we could do that. What you need is a custom carpenter, that is not what we do." IT SAYS YOU DO CUSTOM CARPENTRY WORK ON YOUR WEBSITE!! It lists the following: You name it, we build it! Custom Trim Crown Molding Custom Woodwork Shiplap Railings & Staircases Wainscoting Wall Panelling Custom Lighting AM I CRAZY?! I NEED SOME OF THAT WORK LISTED ABOVE. I AM SURE PICTURES ALONE TELL YOU ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW KEVIN!? Clearly that is all Bravo Sierra! My first clue should have been the quote from pictures and not actually being hands on to survey the work. I have other projects in the future including the following...a kitchen remodel, two bathrooms, deck replacement and recessed lighting in three rooms. Roughly 130-145K in work budgeted over the next three years. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Kevin, you cost your company money and me time. I lost a week but I think Beaver Building & Remodeling lost a lot more! Taking my business elsewhere. Bottomline, this company is like too many others in the building. remodeling trades. As my Father used to say, "These guys find work a distasteful interruption to their daily lives!" You speak the truth Pops! RIP

Due your due diligence, cooper roofing has a history of causing leaks. When they rack up some bad…read morereviews, they just make a new business listing. Cooper Roofing just redid the roof's for our entire row of apartments. They leaked through our ceiling one day & our neighbors ceiling a week later & in the hallway. The fire department even came one day, it was a whole ordeal. I suspect they leaked through every building they did. The roofers only come on rainy days, & leave the roof exposed to the rain, thus all the leaks. They come & go as they please, they come one day, then don't show up for a week- took weeks just to do our roof. Not only did we have to deal with all this leaking, the roofers were careless with our plants & furniture on the patio, even after asking them countless times to try to please try to protect it. They threw tons of trash, a whole dumpster full, all over our balcony, crushing our plants. They didn't keep up a tarp, refused to throw trash down the side of the building instead chose to continue throwing it onto/over our balcony. I understand roofing is a messy job & some stuff is going to fall, but they just didn't even try at all. To make matters more upsetting the owner or higher up or manager, they wouldn't give us a name, put up a ladder to our balcony, knocked on our window while we're working, just to then proceed to be extremely rude & condescending to us, extremely unprofessional, refusing to even acknowledge or take responsibility or give a sincere apology. Instead he told us he knows he's rude, he said his daughter says the same thing, weird? Extremely unprofessional, really speaks volumes as to what kind of company Cooper roofing is. They did say they would reimburse us for our damaged plants, but instead gave us the run around & wasted our time. I never write reviews, but this whole ordeal, especially the way the manager or owner or whoever he was spoke to us led me to write this. Stay away from Cooper roofing, where integrity never mattered.
