You can also have your laundry done for you as those services are available here and you pick it up the following day or whenever you are able to. Be in touch with the laundromat if it is later than a day to be considerate of their time and space. I would avoid weekends because it was always very packed with people taking their clothes in to be cleaned. If you do go on the weekend try to go as early as possible and you will have plenty of space and a more calm atmosphere. Overall, I remember when my husband and I moved to The Bronx in 2014 we started going here and continued going here for the next few years until a laundromat open much closer to us by Sheridan Ave. This was not far at all, but the other one we went to after this happened to be a block away compared to this location which was a few blocks away. Decent laundromat despite the outdated look of it. I recommend it!

There were several laundromats just half-a-block from my apartment, but they didn't seem to have great reviews - but V&T did! I walked an extra 6 blocks to visit V&T and I didn't regret the decision - I was blown away by them! They have incredible laundry and drying machines that take only 15minutes or so each for a full load of laundry. The place is clean, and everyone is abiding by social distancing policies, like standing apart and wearing masks, and you can schedule a time to visit to make sure you aren't crowded in. Additionally, I spoke to Vince (one of the owners) and he was incredibly kind. He treated me like you would imagine a quality family-owned business would. They have movie nights in business' "backyard" on the edge of a park and they also do BBQ's. They are very community-focused. Their machines take credit card, apple pay, coins. V&T also has coffee if you are so inclined and they sell detergent as well. And in an important time to support local businesses, as well as Black owned businesses, this would be a the place to go for your laundry needs.

Extremely Disgusting and Poorly Maintained Washing Machines…read more I am extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of this laundromat. Before doing my laundry, I checked the detergent dispensers on ALL the washing machines, and every single one was in the same disgusting condition. The compartments were covered in black residue and old detergent buildup. It was so disgusting that I almost threw up. There was even a man cleaning the laundromat, but apparently the cleaning is only being done on the outside of the machines. Customers are paying to wash their clothes, not to use machines that look like they haven't been properly cleaned in a very long time. I only used this laundromat because I urgently needed clean clothes for work. I will definitely not be coming back. Management needs to take cleanliness and machine maintenance seriously.
