Apparently this is a common thing but in my 36 years I've never had to deal with it! Lol Anywho, I found Glass Surgeon on yelp and they had amazing reviews so decided to reach out via text per instruction on their listing. Communication was easy - sent them pics, make and model of car and within a few hours got quote (which includes part and labor FYI!! All in!) and earliest appointment availabilities. For all those that are googling and comparing online prices and being cheap - you're fools bc that doesn't include labor or warranty and also TIME IS MONEY! I appreciated that they came to our home to fix it and took about an hour or so and boom - good to go again! The gents were super personable and also educated us on how to avoid this for future! Since it's COVID time they also were masked and gloved up - in addition required customers to sanitize inside of vehicle prior to arrival. Safety first! Thank you Julio and Raul for a seamless and transparent (no pun intended lol) windshield repair service! Most importantly STRESS FREE! Will keep you in mind for any future needs!!

I initially reached out to Mirón after finding an ad for his business on Craiglist and then finding…read morethe stellar reviews on here. I just needed a new window regulator. His response time and communication were both excellent and I could tell immediately that he wasn't going to be flaky with me (as I've experienced with others in the past). My car battery ended up dying the weekend before Mirón was scheduled to come fix my window and not only did he assure me that he could help me with it, he also answered my text on a Saturday evening - which he totally did not have to do. On the day of our appointment, he really went out of his way to help me when we ran into some issues trying to jump my battery. He even went to Autozone to pick up my new battery. Then he had to pick up a part for my window. Although he spent a good portion of the day dealing with my car, I never got the idea that he was exasperated by any of it. I also had new hood struts that I was waiting to find someone to help me with and he was more than happy to install those as well! I write all this to say: don't hesitate to have Mirón help you with your window/glass issues or any other issues you may be having; he is very honest about what he can and cannot offer. Also, Mirón is awesome! If you are a woman, you do not have to worry that this is some creepy guy coming to your house or someone who will take advantage of you in a slimy mechanic type of way. I will definitely be calling him again for any other suitable issues with my car.

I found Miron on Craigslist and he was over in just under 3 - 4 hours fixing my car, in my own garage. He was extremely courteous and professional. The windshield was replaced in just under two hours, the price was reasonable and he cleaned everything up after himself. Less than 24 hours after the incident my car looks like nothing ever happened to it. Fingers crossed, I will have no reason ever to call Miron again but if anything ever comes up with me or my friends I will happily call him again for help.

I am so grateful for Daniel and all his help in fixing my windshield today. So this week Monday I…read morediscovered a crack on my front windshield which was a surprise to say the least. So that afternoon I contacted SDK auto about my situation and instantly I received a phone call back minutes later from a really nice, courteous gentleman named Daniel. I gave him all the car info and details and he was able to offer me an immediate quote over the phone which I appreciated. Also, I asked Daniel if he was available anytime this week on Wednesday to do the fix and he checked and said he could make it (merely one day notice, amazing!). We set up an 8AM appt, he showed earlier today with a mask on and safety protocols in place and started working right away...little did I go back home inside and do a few household chores that I receive a call back from Daniel telling me he was all done! When I went back outside to check the car, it looked brand new and Daniel explained to me all the post-car windshield tips etc. After paying, I received both an email copy and a physical hardcopy receipt as well. Plus the quote/estimate stayed exactly the same which I valued. Honestly, don't think you'll find anyone as professional and trustworthy like Daniel. Thank you again for helping me on such short notice, arriving on time (earlier too), and doing such an amazing windshield replacement! Glad to support you and your local business any day! Please give him a call and see what Daniel can do for you too--highly recommend him 100%!

I had my rear window replaced by Westside Auto Glass Repair recently. The technician showed up on…read moretime, communicated well, and finished the job quickly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after the repair I found several shards of glass left in my car -- on the backseat floor and even one in the front seat. I use my car for work and often transport clients and my service dog, so that could have been dangerous. I reached out to the company by text and through their website contact form, but never received a response. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this was disappointing -- especially since I paid in full and tipped generously. The work itself seems fine, but cleanup and follow-up were seriously lacking. Hopefully they take this feedback seriously and improve their safety practices moving forward. Update (10/18): I've now found multiple glass shards left inside my car after the repair -- enough to cut my hand twice while cleaning. I took photos and videos showing pieces embedded in my backseat. The company has ignored all attempts to contact them. This isn't just unprofessional -- it's a serious safety issue that could have hurt my service dog or any passenger. I'm pursuing a refund through my bank.
