There were three musical performances at the beginning when there was another couple with us. After they left however, he began talking at us about politics and what he thinks. This experience could have been better if there was more music and lighthearted topics instead.

From our first Zoom conversation with Eli, we knew we had met a kindred spirit: A music lover with…read morewide and diverse taste, truly committed to crafting the perfect vibe for any event. We loved getting to know him throughout the planning process--geeking out about music together and catching one of his DJ sets at Garden at the Line (highly recommend!) He invested the time to learn about us and our goals for the event, and absolutely delivered: the sound for the ceremony and toasts was flawless, and he kept the dance floor PACKED all night. We got so many compliments ("all bangers!") and truly could not have imagined a better musical experience for us and our guests. For someone so knowledgeable about music and professional about the overall execution, Eli is incredibly lowkey and humble. He lets the music speak for itself and keeps everyone grooving all night. He was also incredibly generous with us leading up to the wedding: For one, he mixed a version of our first dance song several weeks before the wedding so we could practice to it. Gestures like that made a huge difference to us and our guests, and we know he'd do the same for you, too.

DJ Eli Freshmode is an absolute artist, and made the dancefloor of our wedding more fun than we could have imagined. We're big believers that music sets the tone of an entire event. From the arrival of our guests to our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and finally an epic dance party, Eli kept the vibes high with his playlists! We're a few months post wedding and are STILL receiving compliments on all of the music that was played throughout our entire event. Eli has an incredible ability to read the room and pivot wherever needed based on how the crowd was reacting, there was not a single person in the seats - the dance floor was packed all night! On top of all of this, Eli is an overall great guy. He's easy to talk to, he listens to all of your ideas, and brings an infectious level of enthusiasm to each conversation! We loved our pre wedding check ins with him, and during the wedding you could just feel how much fun he was having. We've danced the night away at so many weddings, but none will ever match the experience of Eli DJing ours.

I love the 80's as we all saw the emergence of dance music and new wave in this decade and they performed a lot of music from Top40 dance hits, to hip hop, and MTV. Sadly, Thunder Valley no longer have these weekend performances of free cover bands (bummer!) but I've followed Cover Me Badd at other venues from Concert on the Square in downtown Roseville to Red Hawk Casino in Placerville to Ace of Spades in Sacramento. This talented group of high energy musicians will keep you entertained whether you like to sing along with their jams or dance, dance, dance!
