Vikram is very professional, and at the same time, super easygoing, flexible, adaptable to changes, and makes the effort to get to know you, your vision for the performance, and really delivers. Never once did I feel like it was hard to get a hold of him or that he was annoyed by tweaks to the plan day of. Since we love magic, and my husband is a skeptic and loves sleight of hand, I opted for the mixed package with a bit of sleight of hand and mentalism as well. It was the perfect show for a room full of adults and his energy and tricks were mind blowing. He kept us entertained the entire hour, and even shared some new tricks that he had been working on. We are still trying to figure out how he was able to fool us all - THAT CLOSE. Haha, needless to say, my husband has claimed this, his BEST birthday surprise yet. We look forward to hiring Vikram again for future family/corporate events and highly recommend him!

Kim's little homey cottage is located right next to the Sierra 2 Center in East Sacramento and there is street parking available. The class for my daughter's age group is on Tuesdays from 5-7pm with 1 hour being for singing/voice lessons and the other 1 hour being for dance lessons. There are 4 classes a month essentially for under $200. Kim was very professional and great with the kids! It was fun to see new and returning students in her class and to see who was comfortable and who was still coming out of their shell. My daughter had a great time at the trail class, but she currently does another activity on Tuesdays so the class for her age group isn't a good fit for us right now, but we hope to come back and join Kim's class in the future. Give them a call or visit if you or your kids are interested in Performing Arts - Kim has been around for 30+ years and you can tell how much she loves what she does!

"How now Malvolio?"…read more My favorite play! I had the good fortune to attend a matinee performance of Twelfth Night, which was performed in the main auditorium at Sacramento City College. This was really a fun place to see Shakespeare. The staff are super friendly, and I even had a chance to get some bargain deals on last year's Shakespeare merchandise. In the auditorium at Sacramento City City College, guests have an opportunity to sit on the "grass," which is really on the stage right next to the performers. I wasn't sure about that so I declined that offer and simply took a sheet in the sixth row. At intermission I moved up to the front row. Of course, this is a community production, so one must make some allowances. The vocal projection was not that great in all places, but overall it was still pretty decent. In a large auditorium like this, I bet projection is a real challenge. In this production, several of the scenes were turned into musical numbers. This really made for a good change-of-pace and added to the fun. Also, in some scenes the actors run right through the audience. I never knew what to expect! I also had an opportunity to talk to several of the actors, as well as the Director. I really appreciate the enthusiasm from this acting troupe. A lot of nice people really invested a ton of time and energy to make a pleasant production for us. And it's a great bargain as well. Plus, the even offer a senior discount. It's hard to go wrong with Twelfth Night, and I had a great visit here. Thanks for such friendly performers and staff. Really made my visit and enjoyable one.

And if that was not enough, they bring the changing sets out while the play continues and the scene changes before your eyes. My favorites were the folks who played Fezziwig and Christmas present as they seemed to personify the characters. My only negative comment is that the gentleman who played Scrooge played it more like ordinary curmudgeon instead of a the scrooge I know who seems bitter by life and obsessed by greed, but still a good performance. Admittedly it was a bit early for me to get in the holiday spirit, but if you are looking for something that will this is the performance for you. Kids may like this one too!

I don't know why more couples don't hire bands for their wedding, specifically this band. Who doesn't like 80's music right? I had a blast photographing this wedding because the energy of the people on the dance floor was amazing! The photo opportunities were endless. They are full service too, making announcements and transitions seamless with other music. As a wedding photographer, I think a band is the way to go! Highly recommend them!

8 Track Massacre recently played at my 30th high school reunion and they were AMAZING! There were three musical performances at the beginning when there was another couple with us. After they left however, he began talking at us about politics and what he thinks. This was not story telling or comedy. He also gave a lot of unwarranted advice. We had to segway him out of his political rambles to get a couple more songs then left. This experience could have been better if there was more music and lighthearted topics instead.

It was a private catered dinner cooked and served up a dinner like no dinner we have ever experienced. Brittney, from the Glass House Garden, is amazing. She provided the venue and organized our dinner event. It was like going out to dinner at a private restaurant in a beautiful garden setting - all specially prepared and set up just for my family and friends. We all felt so wonderful and so special. I cannot describe how wonderful the foods were - all of the dishes - every ingredient - so good, and as we learned from Scott, the chef, also good for us. My husband said it was an experience he will never forget - the food, the atmosphere, the conversation, the wonderful atmosphere, and the people. And he never says stuff like that! The whole experience was completely different from a regular restaurant experience, and I just can't tell you how wonderful it all was. I felt like we were all rock stars or something. If you want to try something new and uplifting and fun and different and delicious and inspiring, book a meal through Brittney with the Glass House Garden. Tell her what you want, or ask her for ideas and you are done. Just invite your people and go and enjoy. It will not just be just an eating out thing, it will be a food, fun, and friends event that you will stay in your heart. I plan on making this my new way to go out for a nice dinner. The typical restaurant experience, does not even come close to this new way of enjoying food with your people. And so reasonably priced! What a concept.
