The menu is on par with burger joints on the mainland in terms of price, and BGS is keen to draw attention to the freshness of their ingredients, from their salads through to their house-made buns. My favourite thing about take away at BGS is that they welcome phone orders, so instead of having to hang around Sandy Bay for fifteen minutes, you can just roll up, collect your order and take off. Perfect. Plus there's Gillespies Ginger Beer (my happy place) in the fridge. I had two pizzas being cooked and half of one of them didn't get put into the oven properly and was a little burnt - it wasn't that big an issue to me but they gave me a free bottle of coke, cooked me another pizza and gave me the not-so-burnt pizza as well.
