Serendipitously, we met her while she was showing an open house in Mayfair - one that was several hundred thousand dollars out of our price range. She was friendly, approachable, and more than willing to help us out, despite the fact that we're not exactly rolling in the Benjamins. We'd met other agents, but she really came across as self-assured and someone you just knew would keep your best interests at heart. Even better? She has almost twenty years in the industry. We saw countless homes, condos, and townhouses with her. She was always available for us. She never got impatient or pushy, and when sellers' agents got uppity, she went nose to nose with them. She didn't allow anyone to take advantage of us or our situation. As a girl with massive anxiety issues, I don't think too many people would have been able to deal with my myriad issues, and she did it effortlessly. I am so lucky that our paths crossed and that I had such a great, knowledgeable person on my team. I would recommend Janice as an agent to anyone. She is on top of her game and knows how to be a savvy, classy salesperson. Hell, I'm already looking forward to selling this house and buying a new one with her in the future.

Like the last reviewer we met at an open house and we felt that she was very friendly and…read moreapproachable. We explained to her that we had to deal with an on call schedule so it would be nearly impossible to plan dates in advance to meet. She told us, "Don't worry about it, let me know in the morning on the days you are available and I will see what I can do!" We were very excited that she was willing to work with our schedule. We know its hard to plan anything, we've been dealing with it for years. We let her know a few times we were free to see if by any chance she was. She was not, which was fine by us, we figured we would just wait to see what happened the next time we were free. I sent her an email asking if she was available another time we had free. The next day we got a voicemail from Janice saying that she could not take us out that day because she was in class working on her hours. She had let her license expire and was in class that day as well as a few other days getting her hours so that she could keep her license. We decided that it was not very comforting or professional for her to let that happen or to leave that message.. long message about it... Because of that message we decided that we did not want to have her help in finding a home. To be polite I e-mailed her and told her we were not able to look for a home at this time. This is when she became pushy and downright rude. For a professional business owner I was shocked to see how she responded! This is the e-mail response I got back from her: "Good luck! If you find an agent that can show you properties on a moments notice they are not working and probably aren't good agents. There are a lot of agents out there that are doing nothing right now but the really good ones are very busy. You are way too demanding for me anyway." This was after the first message where she got pushy and demanding about interest rates. Sad cause we really are looking for a home and we are very laid back and thought we would like to have her help in finding a home. She lost all possibilities of us ever coming back, or in getting any referrals. I cannot believe that she came back with that response. It's her company!!

The reason I am giving this a one star review is because when I spoke with her on the phone she was incredibly rude, condescending, and would interrupt me when I was trying to explain anything. I completely take responsibility for missing the note on the listing that said to only email her, not call and I apologized for that, but the way she handled it was very upsetting and turned me off from renting any properties with her. She claimed to have responded to me saying the property was not for pre-leasing (which was what we are currently looking for) and also claimed that it was noted on the listing as well - both were untrue and all she responded to me was "Its vacant now" when I had answered her questions about animals, smoking, number of tenants, and when we were looking to sign a lease. I explained to her what was said from each party on our very short email thread and she proceeded to tell me that it was not what she said, which made me feel terrible (also I had the emails pulled up as I was reading them to her). I was only trying to ask a quick clarifying question about the property since I was confused as to what exactly it was saying in terms of availability. Very disappointed and quite upset over this immature interaction. I wish there was a better way the conversation could have been handled (such as just letting me know that she does not take calls and would prefer to email which I would have responded "Okay sounds good, have a great rest of your day and I will email you my further questions"- because that would have been much kinder than reacting how she did) and I hope nobody else has this issue in the future or even has had this in the past and has not spoken up about it.

From our very first meeting, Chris took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and explained each step in a way that was easy to understand. She was patient with our many questions and always provided thoughtful, honest advice. What stood out the most was how proactive she was -- she kept us informed at every stage, quickly addressed any concerns, and made sure we never felt overwhelmed. Her knowledge of the market and her attention to detail were truly invaluable. Chris went above and beyond to ensure we found the perfect home, and we couldn't be more grateful for her guidance and support throughout the process. Highly recommend!

She said the deposit would only be the same as the rent unless we had bad credit. Considering we had credit scores on 757 and 683, we assumed this would not apply to us. WRONG, Chrissy decided to raise the deposit $600 after we signed the paper and paying her the $300 holding fee. The day we were supposed to sign the lease she calls and says she needs even more despots because she did not hear back from one of our previous landlords--which we obviously can't control, they could be on vacation or even dead. She did hear back from our current property management. She is just looking for any reason to raise the deposit. We decided to run the loss of losing $300 versus renting from this scam lady. Do not sign ANY HOLDING DEPOSIT FORM from this lady, she will tell you one price over the phone, have you sign the holding deposit without the deposits written down and then make arbitrary increases after you already forked over the holding deposit --I know now that even if you like a place, do not sign anything like this; I'm telling you all. so you do not make the same mistake I did have a lawyer look over the form she had us signs and they said that it is very predatory: the holding deposit is only refundable if the landlord (Chrissy) decides not to rent to us. It does say that she has the ability to raise the deposit if she deems it worthy, not a typical form. Considering she allowed 4 students living in the 2 bedroom apartment (only zoned for 3), she clearly only rents to students so she can make excuses to raise their deposit sky high. She is probably living off these deposits while she is otherwise detained.

Then if I'm offered the lease and don't accept, they keep the money. Absolutely absurd to expect people to commit to a home without being allowed to tour the property first. It looked like a 50/50 chance that the house was a mold trap. I don't care how in demand the property is, this is deeply disrespectful and takes advantage of the desperation folks are experiencing in Boulder's crowded housing market. This is a predatory company with no respect for prospective tenants- proceed with extreme caution.
