I'm used to studios having showers so leaving in my sweat clothes isn't ideal for me but it's not deal breaker. Our instructor was great! She was subbing for the main teacher but she did great. Easy to follow and she made sure to call out cues clearly through her headset. I will say i want to come back and try the reformer next. I like that they offer a variety of classes because of that reason i will return!

This is in response to I assume the 'business owner' as its listed on Class Pass that made an…read moreassumption about my HONEST feedback on Class Pass after a few classes. First, giving MY opinion on instructors I have taken that YOU hired is not being a Cyber bully. I think you should look up the definition before you use words. I clearly stated, and will state again that yes, I had a favorite instructor, Jenna, who is no longer with the team. I am all for experiencing new instructors as long as they know how to guide positions properly. I believe you should take a look at your cameras during the days I made comments to see how CLEAR instructions were NOT given and people were lost. So while you may stand by your new instructors, as you should, you should also make sure to listen to clients feedback instead of replying with responses that make no sense. NOTE: The 'business owner' states I shouldn't come back due to giving my opinion. Not to worry, due to the other instructors not being my cup of tea, as also nicely mentioned, I have already planned on never going back ...but with that type of response, thank you for showing me what type of management your company has as a whole as now I know I am making a great choice on where I spend my time and MONEY.

This studio…read moreis incredible, the perfect size, clean, welcoming, and it's owner, Bevin, is competent, badass, kind and overall just good people. She made an existing passion of mine, boxing, even more fun and challenging in the right way. I did both group classes and 1-1 sessions and it never disappointed. Even group classes that can sometimes be bleak at other spots were fun and engaging, partially because Bevin builds a community. I never tried the Pilates section, but I only hear great things about it. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a stellar local workout spot with wonderful people to brighten up your existence.

I bought the Daily Candy deal for the TRX 3-class package deal. I used to work out with my trainer…read moreusing TRX and remembered how much I loved it. I honestly haven't seen any studios focusing on TRX classes alone and I was pretty stoked when I got the deal. First off, Studio U is located on Abbot Kinney just down the street from my favorite spinning studio, YAS. I'm shocked that I never knew this place existed and I literally drive by everyday. I guess I was really lucky on my first visit t there was one other student beside me. The instructor, Bevin is knowledgeable, patient and very nice...she watched our every move, form and reminded us to keep breathing. The entire session was literally like a semi-private. My body definitely remembered the moves and I'm sure I'll be feeling sore tomorrow. You can sign up for classes online and there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Bevin was understanding the first time I canceled due to a last minute conference call I had at work with Asia. I understand now why they need such a lengthy period of time for cancellation as the class sizes are really small. Nevertheless, I will definitely be coming back here.
