They have serviced my car multiple times now and every time was day of drop off and pickup. They have had very helpful honest and transparent conversations about my vehicle and its issues. When my vehicle was at the end of its lifespan they even took the time to talk through other car models I could move on to. This business customer service mirrors that of a family. They care about their customers and won't lead you astray in any fix that isn't necessary. So now I'm taking my single recommendation and spreading it here. This is an auto shop you can trust and deserves your business.

Thanks to Thad and the crew at the Grease Monkey on Bell for making my first AZ automotive…read moreexperience a good one! I've had the same mechanic for about 30 years (a family owned & operated shop in WA), and the thought of going somewhere else petrified me. I really needed an oil change and tire rotation and chose Grease Monkey on Bell based on Google & Yelp reviews. I was greeted right away, explained what my needs were, and Thad did his best to reassure me that I would be well taken care of, they would show me all parts before replacing, and would not try to upsell me. He also said they have bays in back with mechanics to do other work when I need it. I did need a few other things (rear brake light, wiper blades, cabin filter) and each time someone came in to get my approval. I had no idea my wiper blades would shred in the heat! If it's raining, I'm more likely to be standing outside letting it hit me in the face than going for a drive. They were very patient in getting me every discount they could. Coupon codes from the website AND a senior discount! In and out in less than an hour, including wait time to get my car in the bay. The website did mention a carwash, which they don't have at this location, but that was not a deal breaker at all. I highly recommend this location and will definitely go back when I need anything else done.

I debated whether to respond to the frivolous lies After Hours Auto and Truck posted in reply to my…read morereview. . The truth will prevail! Let me break it down lie by lie. EXCUSE ME, I meant *line by line: 1. The 15 minutes call could have been a lot quicker if I ya'll could tell me what is included in that inspection. I dont think ya'll could have given a straight answer if your lives depended on it! 2. I was not comfortable paying the entire bill when I couldn't get a straight answer of what I was exactly paying for. However, I offered to pay half the night before and half after the work was finished. 3. If you recall, the whole point in getting a mobile mechanic was because I just started a job and I had a meeting in the morning with my director. Which I was very clear on calling ya'll back ASAP after the meeting. Ya'll agreed and decided to make the appt and set expectations that the work would be done. Saving best for last! 4. When I called afterwards to find out nothing had been done. I was scoffed at for asking, "so how do we proceed from here?" the reply, "ughhhh, were busy now." And then silence. There never was an offer to come back out later or even another day. So I think the one truth throughout the entire response from After Hours Auto ans Truck: I told them I am leaving a review of my experience. Guess they took that as a threat. When in reality my intent was to warn others of the awful experience I had with Afrer Hours Auto and Truck. If you treat people right then you wouldn't have to worry about someone leaving a review! It's just bad business. Customers should be warned of yet another unprofessional mechanic!

Picked it up from the other shop and they try telling me it was my transmission. So I called a different shop and they recommended Dave Sheppard. Got it towed here and they discovered it was not bled properly and the pushrod for the clutch was not adjusted. Dave and his shop got it fixed and I didn't need a transmission. Dave looked over my Tacoma and recommended new valve cover seals, a carrier bearing and while it was there I asked him to do an oil change. It felt great knowing Dave found that first issue and fixed what the other shop didn't fix, so I went ahead with the other services knowing my Tacoma will be in great hands and a reasonable price.
