Things have been good with Solcium. The monitoring app has been informative. I'm already producing more than I'm using. Marco and Diana were my reps and they were good and we kept in touch. The sales process was above and beyond. I was talking with Solcium and two other companies came by trying to close me down. When meeting with them they were informative and could tell they were always being transparent. They didn't need to be pushy and lead with the product itself.  I was tired of the process, so I pulled the trigger with another company and instantly had regrets. Solcium wasn't jaded when I messed up and signed up with another company. I called Marco and Diana to help and they did everything they possibly could to help get that canceled. They were quick to respond at all hours of the day which was unexpected. They eased my concerns throughout the process and my concerns were well received. We went out for drinks and hashed out all the concerns and even in a social setting it was a very professional conversation. Above and beyond. Give them a raise. The office was quick, concise, and painless. I work nights and they were mindful of that. The installers were friendly, and courteous, asked for access, and were respectful of the property. Missed a few sticker backs but that was easily missed. They were great. Nothing could have improved. I am so happy that we chose Solcium for our solar. We knew we wanted solar and initially went with another provider but we went with the wrong provider not doing our homework. Luckily we went over the reviews from this other provider and realized quickly we made a mistake. That's when we looked online and first checked out the providers reviews. Solcium had great reviews so we called them and another provider. Solcium contacted me same day and sent a representative out within a few hours. The person who came out to speak to us name was Mand. Mand was not a "sales" person. We discussed what we were looking for and he helped educate us look at guarantees over quick gimmicks. Once we were satisfied, we got the information in writing and asked to think about it. During the process, Solcium was in contact with us every step of the way. I spoke with 10 companies, and I went with Solcium because he was polite, considerate, straightforward, and honest. When he showed up, I was on a walk with my wife and he insisted I finish up my walk before meeting, he didn't mind waiting at all. He showed us exactly how the system would work, what it would produce, and was incredibly professional. He never over promised but over delivered. He was my advocate throughout this whole process, and I could always rely on him. I never had to wait for a response from him, it was immediately answered, or he would respond "I will call you in five minutes" and it never failed. Many of my neighbors have solar and I can see such a difference in the quality and the neatness of the installation. Their install team was kind, efficient, and didn't leave any kind of mess. A guy came to the door one day and asked about an electric bill and I asked a guy to come out later because I was leaving for work. Marco explained everything about the system and I signed up the same day. He's been really helpful, every time I had a question he would get back to me. He came back and brought food not too long ago for me. He was always very easy to reach. In my old house, I was paying $350 and now I am paying $300 in my new one but every year it increases and I wanted to avoid that inflation. The loan is $207 + $30 for the meter and it's still cheaper than the $300 I'm paying now, after the loan is over it's only $30 for the meter. I got full coverage for 30 years on parts, labor, and the power production guarantee. I didn't go solar in the past because I heard about bad experiences with other companies but didn't have that experience at all. The installation went pretty well. They did a great job, they were nice, no problems at all. The office team was really good because they replied very fast. Matt was the rep Solcium sent out, he was very nice, kept it simple, and explained things very well. He was accommodating to our requests. We had talked to two other companies and I wasn't looking for another company but Solcium's door knocker got me in touch with Matt. I decided on Solcium over the other companies because they were local and their warranties were better. I was at the point where our energy bills I couldn't take anymore. I also wanted to put my roof to work. I figured it was time to do it after toying with the idea for a while. The office has been great, and good at getting a hold of me. I'm a teacher and I don't carry my phone much and they were persistent in calling enough that they would get ahold of me. They were great at walking me through emails, the interconnection, and following up with me. I felt like a valued customer. My neighbor mentioned that the company they went with didn't go through the app like Solcium does. For installation they showed up early, I was here to provide access then left. I did a great deal of research when considering solar for our new home. My wife and I are very happy that we chose to go with Solcium Solar! Everything was smooth and pleasant from the get-go! Another solar company came in before Solcium and had a good presentation but Marco came out and It was no contest. The thing that really set them apart was their 30-year warranties which is longer than the other companies I was exploring. I looked for a long-term commitment. Everyone from Solcium has been professional and interested in me as an individual. Solcium's communication was phenomenal. They made sure I was aware of everything that was going on with the project and were upfront about timelines, so I wasn't caught off guard. The installation was great, the workers were organized, they worked as a team, managed their individual responsibilities, they were knowledgeable, they were a blast to talk to, and cleaned up at the end of day. From start to finish it was a very efficient and effective process. Mand, our sales rep, made the details of the system easy, simple, and clear to understand. We got information from another company that my mother-in-law was working with and they offered us a smaller system for more money, whereas Solcium supplied not only a larger system for a smaller price, but they also provided more warranties that covered power production, roof penetrations, and the system itself. The best benefit of this company is how fast they move, after we signed we were installed within a week, and it looks great. My mother-in-law started a month and a half before we did and just started on their installation, whereas we have our system installed and are already saving money. The only time we were waiting was when we were waiting for the utility company and Solcium had good communication and consistently called me to keep me up to date on the entire process. The monitoring for the system is very easy to navigate, and this is coming from someone who is not very tech-savvy so the simplicity is great. Solcium exceeded all of my expectations. Their team treated us like family. Mand was the one who came out initially and man he was great. He was not pushy, didn't use cheesy sales tactics, and only gave us factual information. He was cordial and patient even under constant bombardment of questions. No matter when I called Solcium was available on the other end of the phone, they even took my calls on the weekends. The people installing were very thoughtful, if you went outside they talked with you, explained what they were doing, and were very patient when you had questions. Our neighbor had another company install and they were cursing and yelling and when he came out to come watch my install he was shocked that Solcium's team was acting so professionally. Everything was smooth from start to finish. They stood by our side when Duke was running us in circles and caused us to delay because of their screw up. Solcium was different because they were friendly, laid back, but professional and had the better offers compared to those other companies. I thought solar was something we should look into and I had no intention of saying yes but their presentation and their ability to talk at our level, not talk over us, and tailor to our needs sold us. They wrote everything down and they covered both my spouse's and my concerns. They were calm, not pushy, and wanted to help whether or not we went with them. In the past, we spoke with other companies who never mentioned rental options and pushed sales hard. I was referred to Solcium by my son Bobby Skeel. Ryan was the sales rep I worked with and he did a good job with his presentation, he left me with literature whereas other companies did not. All the other companies had nothing so Solcium was immediately whom I focused on. The installation team was prompt, there was an issue where a panel was cracked in shipping but the team took care of it quickly and got another one immediately. The office team was always professional and polite. They always understood my concerns and shared them if I had them. After the utility did what it needed to, there were about five days before it was producing energy but the Solcium team was prompt and polite but they were having to wait on the Aptos support team which was having delays. It's been a good experience. I did an online search on Solar and sent my information in a form that contacts solar providers. We decided to go with Solcium because their call center rep was great, I believe Steve was his name. Then when Thomas came out, he explained it well and he was honest enough to explain everything. It was more than just the sale. He didn't push for adders that wouldn't be of real benefit to us and made sure not to oversize our system. Jamie and Karla were great about getting back to me when they said they would. Jamie whenever you call her, it was great and she takes care of you. Karla who took care of our interconnection with the utility was very nice. Their installers were great, easy going, and explained everything they were doing. Something that sets Solcium apart is I was able to sit with them within a day of setting the appointment, on Sunday no less, which most companies do not offer and I was able to install the following week. Whereas other companies I had to wait weeks before hearing back. I found it impressive that the government was providing the incentive with such a low interest rate and not having to wait several years to start seeing our savings, we just had our system turned on and will start seeing our savings now which is exciting. I loved that I was able to reach customer service at any time and provided quick replies and are always more than happy to help. I am always wary when someone tries to sell me things but solar is the way to go. It is a great investment where I save money and know when I will be done paying for my electricity. The first phone call from Solcium caught my attention and they sent Jen and she has been good. The whole process was smooth and easy. I've had my system on for 3 months and what was promised is what has happened, so no complaints. I can't even tell if the panels are there because of where they are placed. I like the warranties that cover repairs and there is a 3rd party company to backup the warranties.
