Been going there for over 2 decade, sadly when the original owner passed away the quality declined. Went to get my wife's car fully tinted and when I got home with the car there was bubbles,dirt and scratches all over. Brought the car back to have them fix these issues and had the same problems dirt, scratches on the film and bubbles. Brought it back again because they left tools in the car, my door panels weren't reinstalled correctly and the tint was bad again. At this point I was over it and will never be going back again. Bait and switch Was pretty clear in my request of what I needed for a stereo install and they gave me a price. But when I got there it was all switched up and they wanted $75 more. Turns out it was a more complication install as I did it my self and added items that I do not believe they could have handled. Other wise I would have given them a lower rating. 3 stars just for answering me back in a timely mannner. But 0 stars for wasting my time they next morning as I was there at opening to drop my vehicle off. And my day was shot after the switch up. my honest feedback is that they deserve their recognition for tints specifically, I think that is their specialization. I only did my two front windows as well as a sun visor for 180 on ceramic for a 19 chr . guy def listened to MY wants and picking my car up and dropping it off was simple def . They stay looking busy and the work is decently professional! my bf also had his car tinted the day after he's also happy with his and said he "he knows what he is doing " Jerry helped both of us , one thing I could say for sure he'll be a bit concerned you make the right choices I did get 5% and I appreciate that he did it . knowing it could be a bad dangerous choice but I think just he is well concerned about his work and not needing to redo it or have issues later on. but I love my dark tints and I feel safer in my car already with my privacy . decent prices . My story: A car was stolen from my apartment building as well as in my neighborhood, so as a safety measure I researched the best way to protect one's car from being stolen. The result was to get a kill switch. I went to Solar Tint to get one installed. When I arrived Jessie looked at my car and said I didn't need one because my car can't be hot wired and stolen. He could have easily just charged me and installed one, and I wouldn't have known better. However, he simply said I didn't need one and explained the reasons why. Based on this experience, I would trust this business with anything. If I need anything further in the future, I will be going to Jessie, and I am referring all my friends there too. VERY very unprofessional work. Please look at the picture for yourself! Never going back. I brought in my Toyota Camry 07 to install a CarPlay and traveled 45 minutes just to receive their "amazing work." Accidentally, they called me saying it was ready when it wasn't. I asked if he had started on my car and the installer said "not yet." This was at 11:30 am. When I picked it up at 2pm, these people were rushing me by only handing me my keys and charging me. Normally, at a shop the workers will go over the job they did in your car before anything to make sure you're satisfied. Nope, no one showed me the work they did or even walk me to it. Here's the BEST part. They scratched my dash, a CHUNK of it came off. SO MANY GAPS EVERYWHERE. A piece of METAL inserted in my compartment to "hold it together" so now the cover wouldn't close, and all my belongings thrown on the ground (professionals would have put it on the passenger seat at least, or even a bag). Additionally, my old radio thrown on the ground in the backseat. Had to come back a THIRD TIME in the same day to this mess of a place. The installer (won't name them) wouldn't even look me in the eyes when I was showing them the car they gave me back. They got upset with me and lied to me saying they worked 4 hours on my car when really it was 2 hours that looked like a 30 minute job at most. This person was bringing up my doors and dashboard as his defense when they have nothing to do with a radio. The installer was able to correct half of his mistakes. I still left with gaps on the driver side. At least the metal piece is now gone and the cover closes. ALSO, they never installed the remote control that comes with the CarPlay. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES FOR YOURSELF. ** THE ONLY REASON why they're getting a star is because the owner was super understanding and gave me her attention when I explained to her why I had to come back. read more

Install took about 3 hours total, with steering wheel controls for MUCH MORE reasonable price. I'll say while it isn't 100% flush with the original console, it's like 90% there. Brought in my Dad's 2005 GMC Canyon truck and they replace the rear two speakers that I brought in, in 30 minutes. NO hassle. Great installation price. I had been quoted up to 2hrs from other "high" end shops. I watched the entire repair and when we tested the stereo, we both noticed the front speakers were shot as well. This place is great! I've gone to them for many installs, first time for window tint, they put my vinyl stripes on my new Challenger, they installed back-up sensors, and a bass speaker. Their prices are unbeatable and the quality of work is perfect. Plus everyone there is incredibly nice and friendly... and they are fast! AND they even told me that Brad Pitt brought his Challenger there for I think window tint... funny Challenger stories. I ran into Kristen Schall and her finance one night getting into their Challenger and of course I had to chat about the car.... anyway, I digress. On to the subject at hand. 1) They first did my window tint on the car. It's beautiful, and I believe they offer a lifetime warranty on their tint. The price was great, $130 was the price they quoted over the phone. After bringing the car in, I was told that I should go with the carbon tint because my antenna stuff is in the back window, so I ask "how much more is the carbon tint?" and the owner said it would still be the same price as originally quote. No up-selling for the better tint or anything... They really honor the quote they give you over the phone. Plus I wasn't quite sure on just how dark I should go (because I love super dark tint, but didn't want any issues with having too dark of tint). So they were great about showing me cars that were parked out front, so I could see exactly how the tint would look, how dark it would be, etc... wound up going very dark on the rear and small side windows (5%) and going a little less dark on the driver and passenger windows (30%). It was great having samples to view to make the choice. I trusted their recommendations and it turned out perfect. 2) I purchased hood and side stripes online for my Challenger from ridergraphix.com and I was just looking for someone local to apply them. I had gotten a quote for applying the stripes from a local auto body shop, and their quote was $350. So I thought I'd give Solarcraft a call just to see if they did that kind of work, and I was pleased to find out they did... their quote was $130, and they said they could do it in a couple hours! I was thrilled. Dropped it off around 11:30 am on a Saturday, and it was done by 2pm. They really did a great job on the stripes too, it simply looks perfect. 2014 Update: I went to Solarcraft to have them install back up sensors (the Challenger has poor viability, so they were very much needed.) At first I wanted a camera backup system installed, but after discussing with they guys at Solarcraft I realized that as of right now, that wasn't possible because they would have to replace my stock rear view mirror with a whole new one, and in the Challenger all the blue tooth, speaker, voice command stuff is through the rear view mirror, so that wouldn't work, or I would lose all that functionally. So I went with the audio sensors, installed along the back bumper. They matched the paint perfectly, Tungsten Metallic. The back up sensors work great. No more backing into Prii! : P Yes that did happen. Also had some bass speaker installed, honestly I don't know much about it because my husband picked it out. I love yelp as the community is right!!! I called solarcraft a couple weeks ago and made an appointment to get my car windows darker. They quoted me a great price. When I went in the next morning they showed me the different shades of tint, made suggestions, and when I was unsure they showed me a vehicle they had just tinted that had the exact tint combo I was deciding on. Well I loved it and decided to do it. It took about 2.5 hours and I could watch the process. The guys were so professional and honest. I'm so glad I made a first thing in the morning appointment because they were getting busy and having to tell some people to come back later! 2 weeks later I love my darker UV protected tint and my car stays sooo much cooler! Lifetime warranty too! Can't beat that! If you are wanting tint look no more! I saw a lot of glowing reviews for their tinting service. Based on that, I went there for their car audio service expecting it to be on par with their tinting service. Man, that was a mistake. I took my Z4 in to get a new head unit and iPod integration installed. Ernesto suggested a particular Pioneer unit that fit with what I needed. I got on my phone to check out the price and reviews on Amazon: great reviews and about $80 cheaper online. I asked him if he would price match. He said no because they originally purchased them at a higher price. I'm okay with that since not many retail businesses price match. So I asked if they can install it if I bought it online and brought it in. He said yes but it'll cost extra. I asked why and he said something about liability and whatnot. I couldn't fully apprehend what he was saying because it sounded like he was improvising some BS reason. It's the same freaking Pioneer head unit! Why would there be a difference in installation cost? I'm like whatever. I'll pay extra if their service and installation is as great as their reviews. A few days later, I brought the head unit in and he said it'd take about 1 hr 30 mins to 1 hr 45 mins. So I waited... and waited... and waited for 4 hours! Not only that. The dash kit holding the head unit was not flush with the dashboard. On top of that, there was a gap on the left side, so they filled it with felt. Super shoddy work! (Refer to photo gallery.) I got a fix-it ticket and needed to get the front tints removed on my Honda Civic. I went to Solar Craft without knowing a thing about it, because it was so close to my house. Best decision ever! I'm really bummed that I can't remember the name of the guy who helped me, because he was fantastic. He removed my window tint perfectly in just a few minutes, and it only cost me $25! Had the windows tinted on my new Accord. excellent job. I couldn't be happier. Had the sides, rear, and sunroof tinted. I'm going to take it back and have tint applied to front window too (yes, I know about the law....) I can only repeat what other reviewers have said. Dave has been in this business for years, so I have no concerns that they won't be there if a problem develops with the tint product. He and his employees are interested in quality work. They're also very aware of Yelp and the amount of business that gets directed to them because of their online reputation. btw - if they make a recommendation, listen to them. I was uncertain about the level of tint - I was leaning toward darker, but once Dave figured out my need, he steered me to the right tint level - and as I said before, I couldn't be happier.
