This time when in need, they stepped up and was there for me. Online quote was easy and simple. Be sure to have your cars VIN # for the quote to be as accurate as possible. I shopped around with other glass vendors and not one best Safelite's quote. Appointment was easy to make after the quote and the service tech was communicative and very professional. I chose the mobile service and the glass replacement was done right in my driveway. The technician was on time, friendly, professional, organized and clean. He completed both appointments on my 2 cars in a timely manner. Super organized and cleaned up nicely and provided quality parts and service. Great price compared to other quotes and coupons available but you just have to find them. Only fee you'll see that was questionable was the glass recycling fee of $39.99 which is bogus in my opinion. I called to try to get it waived but they offered a discount so definitely worth a try to call for a better price reduction.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I definitely recommend going with another company. They did not even…read morecomplete the service. Technician was supposed to arrive between 8 and 12 and he arrived at 12:10, with an attitude. The repair time was supposed to be between an hour and two and he took 2.5 hours and at the end he didn't even complete the service!!!!! They said that they needed to calibrate it and they couldn't and then they wanted me to go to their location which is 35 min away from where I live to then wait for hours because they said they needed at least an hour to see if they can calibrate it. I said beforehand that I needed that to be quick because the only time I had was during my lunch break and there were like 6 people waiting and said it will take hours. WHY ADVERTISE AS A SERVICE THAT GOES TO YOU TO THEN MAKE YOU GO ALL THEY WAY TO THEM AND WAIT FOR HOURS???? AND after all, when I'm there, they say that if I don't do the calibration there, they just don't care because they make you sign a waiver before the do some work in your car. If you're looking for windshield replacement I recommend you finding a company that is near you in case "calibration" cannot be completed. I asked if they can to me to attempt to recalibrate and they said no. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE don't recommend this company/service to anybody

After several National…read moreCompanies tried to tell me to let them file my claim and specifically asked me NOT to file it, I was worried I would never find an honest company to work with. I started reading reviews specifically looking for locally owned companies while also filing the claim, when I saw Glass Act's reviews and they came up as an authorized vendor with my insurance it was a no brainer. Rick called me within 2 hours of the claim, scheduled for first thing the next morning, and he was honest and informative. Today for my appointment he was prompt to the minute when he said he would be, he did wonderful work - his craftsmanship is second to none, and he was even able to remove my gate decal from my former windshield so I could still use it! While I do not have glass needs often, I will choose Glass Act and Rick 100% of the time moving forward.

Safelite called immediately, made an appt, and got to my house on time. I have a Macan which meant replacing the windshield and calibrating the camera. They were professional and very sweet. I will tell you that, later in the evening, the rear view mirror fell down. I called and they had someone at my house first thing in the morning. There was a screw that was a bit loose. He fixed it, explained it and showed it to me. It took all of about 8 minutes. They were friendly, professional, and fast. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely atrocious experience. Safelite is the definition of disorganized, unprofessional, and…read morecompletely indifferent to their customers. From day one, there was zero communication. I had to chase them down repeatedly just to get the most basic updates. No one ever reached out proactively. It felt like I was managing the entire process myself while they did... nothing. They also failed to coordinate with my insurance in any meaningful way, which only added more delays and confusion. You'd think a company that does this every day would have that figured out, but apparently not. Request was send in Feb, it is now April, just to order a part and attempt to schedule the service. A month of me calling, following up, and basically begging for progress because they clearly weren't capable of handling it on their own. And then, after all that time wasted, they refused to complete the service, for no valid reason whatsoever. Nothing had changed from the original situation. Same car, same issue, same everything. They just decided not to do the job. To top it off, the on-site staff was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was the inconvenience. No accountability, no urgency, no professionalism. Honestly one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Avoid Safelite at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like your business doesn't matter.
