She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

Everyone was extremely professional and patient as I asked a million questions. Their price was more than fair as I found some places as much as 50% more, for the same products. Check around on same equipment to feel comfortable with pricing, but know that when it comes to design, permitting and quality install, Solar Optimum gets it right. I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. They were always available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with our electricians whenever something came up. Because they knew our system inside and out, they were able to jump in quickly and help keep the project on track. Having that history with our home made a huge difference, and their professionalism and responsiveness took a lot of stress out of what was otherwise a complicated project -- all without having to break the bank. They are extremely fair with their pricing. It's one thing to do a good installation, but it's another to still be supporting your customers more than a decade later. Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

They have stolen $600 from my business account and are "looking into" returning it. It was stolen and it needs to be returned asap. Every customer service person I deal with on the phone has a very thick heavy accent . I happen to speak Spanish, so I'm able to communicate somewhat but I feel very bad for any Customer that's calling that does not speak Spanish. When we first started with them, they were very kind and communicative until they installed the solar system... After they installed the solar system, they do anything but communicate. And they never trained us on the system. We had no idea how to take care of it and it wasn't operating for probably the first half of the year... A service guy happened to come out at our prompting and he found out it was never working at full capacity. We even have the Tesla battery and we had no power for one day when they took the power away in our area... And that is what the Tesla battery is for. It's a back up so that you don't lose power and it failed miserably. This company quite honestly needs to be sued and I'm happy to join a class action lawsuit. If there's anyone out there that would like to start it. I am BEYOND disgusted and disappointed with this so called solar company. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication.
