The tech decided to finish and apply top coats clearly seeing the difference in R to L hand and the owner tried to gaslight me and tell me that it "sometimes looks like that" "that's the color" and "from far away you can't notice." Am I paying for something that looks bad? You expect me to be ok with a botched nail job. No she expected me to stay longer to get my right hand redone by the same tech who messed it up the first time but didn't catch his own mistakes? Na na na the manager needs to know when to suck it up and take an L. Have someone step in that can do a dip without error how's that for a solution that was never offered. You expected me sit back down and waste time out of my day like I didn't have plans all that with the same tech that just messed up. As a manager maybe you offer up your time to redo the service? Don't go here they were clearly talking about me after I expressed dislike and had to stay firm knowing the color was botched. You tried to scoot me out with ugly nails and expect me not to address it. Not today I know what a good dip looks like that lasts 3 weeks and you def can't get that here. I appreciated that the aesthetician who did my mani pedi correctly sensed that I'm not a nail salon small talker, and we both let the other person kindly vibe in peace. On & off through the years (I had a job for several years where I couldn't get manicures) but I would always make this my first choice spot. Over the summer, I came to get a gel pedicure. The tech dug deep into my nail, causing traumatic onycholysis. Now there is a HUGE separation of my nail from the nail bed on my big toe. It is going to take most likely over a year for it to heal. I went back after to get my next pedicure & I pointed it out to them. I had two people tell me it's because I had poor hygiene & let water get under the nail. Absolutely not. Because of that interaction, I stopped coming here. I've been going to a wonderful nail spa by my house. However, yesterday I decided to come back because I needed to remove the gel from my fingernails & it was on the way of where I needed to go. Simple enough. They can't mess that up. However, I was mistaken. Upon finishing the removal of the gel, the lady who I'm assuming is the owner begins filing my nails. Sure, that's normal. She jams the filing board under my nail because she lost her grip. It kinda hurt but I didn't think anything of it. She then quickly tries to rush me out. Doesn't clean up the gel powder & dust from my nails. Okay fine, I'm the only client in here right now but sure, I'll take my leave. I pay, get in the car & saw I have traumatic onycholysis again! I am completely shocked. Not only is this very sensitive but it is another issue that I need to deal with & baby for months because of their negligence. I can not believe it. I will not be returning. It was also alarming to walk in at 5 pm & I was the only customer. I should've left. I can't believe I have another damaged nail, this time on my finger which I'm sure will get beat up in day-to-day life. I will recommend for anyone & everyone to steer clear from this place. I've been coming here since 2019 & now? Never again.
