She changed her approach to my cut & color ,then upon paying my bill she said she was raising the price by 61 percent...so my 238.00 bill went to 385.00 and all I require is a partial bleach and peroxide no blow out. No toner No product. I get a old school Farrah layer with a Goldie bang. All my other hair dressers got me done in an hour n half. Macy takes 3 hours. Layers other clients within our time. She told me the price increase was because of her experience and demand of time and technique! She's 34 yrs old. I'm 61.. lololol I watch New York tutorials Alot. Ive had brilliant hair dressers in my young life. Uuuuuuummmmm she doesn't even compare to the older stylists I've known and watched. But she had done ok thus far.... But 400;Bucks for a standard layer and bleach peroxide partial? Which is low end no drama? I call it Diva mentality rippin people off... I found the Internet to even say the increase is Bloated and beyond San Francisco top tier prices..... What a joke!!! I found a salon right for me with veteran hairdressers that won't rip me off ..... Think twice before buying into salon Vivace Diva BS....

Growing up, my salon experiences were wonderful...coffee, a fun time browsing the products, but over the last 10 years, things really changed. It became more of an in-and-out experience, and the service would cost $500+ for results that just weren't that great. Not only did I have a lovely time at your salon, greeted with big smiles and kindness, but the service was top-notch at an affordable price. My hair looks beautiful, I absolutely love my color and cut. True balayage style. Thank you so much again and please thank Alysha from me. I've already given her information to friends and family.

It is absolutely amazing to me to be told that there is no competition between stylists... they work together as a team. Since Tiffany has a lot of experience, she is often very busy. she has assured me that I could go to another stylist in the shop if I couldn't get in to see her and I needed a haircut quickly. I've seen a stylist who was drying/smoothing a client with long hair be helped by another stylist who had free time. Each stylist took one side of the hair, dried and smoothed the hair and all 3 ladies had a great chat! such a friendly place!

I also have to give her so much props for accommodating me while I was 33 weeks pregnant so she made sure I was hydrated and comfortable in the chair and at the wash station. She tightly curled my hair so that the next day, I would have loose curls for my baby shower event and one less thing to do. Thank you for the wonderful experience and can't wait for more self care sessions with Keema!

During my mid-length haircut, I showed her my inspo pic which had lots of layering and she then proceeded to tell me that my hair was not suited for layers which was my main intention for my haircut. During my second visit with another hairstylist, I asked for full length bangs and I instead got side bangs or curtain bangs.

However, when it was time to pay, the stylist told me that more color had been used and I was charged an additional $25. While the stylist did a great job, the extra charge did not seem fair. The website did not indicate that root touch-ups start at a certain price or that additional charges may apply based on the amount of color used. Because of the unexpected charge, I ended up leaving a smaller tip than I had planned, which I felt bad about since the stylist's work was good. I was very disappointed with the salon's pricing transparency, especially because it's a salon I like and have enjoyed visiting.

I showed various pictures( front, side, and back) to give Briana a good idea of what I wanted to achieve. My 17 year old daughter's only comment (who recently got her hair cut from another local stylist in Livermore, got a beautiful cut and style) is that it's just bad and walked away. I have had plenty of horrible experiences and haircuts before so it's safe to assume I was anxious about trying this new salon. Once again, lesson learned, go to your trusted salon and stylist. DO NOT RELY ON RATINGS ALONE. I've already made an appointment with my trusted hair stylist in Fremont to fix my hair. I'm willing to drive further out to see her after this sad experience! In response to Varina's review: You had a different experience than I did and it's great that you love your results. But, you had a different hairstylist. And as the owner of the salon, I expected Briana to deliver and she fell short of that. I couldn't wear my hair straight because the cut was uneven; I had no choice but to curl it to hide the imperfections. You cannot deny that my hair looks nothing like the pictures I showed Briana. Would I be willing to risk sitting there again to have her "fix" it when she couldn't deliver the haircut I wanted in the first place? So, while I appreciate your feedback, the pictures speak for themselves. I did call the salon and also left a voicemail on Brianna's cell phone explaining my issue and disappointment, so she was aware of it before I wrote this review.
