Let me start off by saying if I can put NO STARS I would!!!!!! My friend came in to get a pedi and a mani. She wanted ombré for her manicure and these people act like they didn't learn how to do that in school!!!! How tf did you get certified then??? Ombré is sooo fricken easy!!!! They also left nail polish all around her toes she asked them to clean it and they refused, didn't file her cuticle after she asked them to do so as well, the stones she got weren't straight and because she kept correcting them they started to catch an attitude (Mind you she was being polite the whole time). Soho nails? Yeah don't plan on going there. I went and got my nails done on Christmas Eve, me and my friend were the only customers that day. It's only been a week and I've had 2 of my acrylic nails break and 1 more crack. DON'T DO IT! THEY PRICE GOUGE YOU! PRICING IS NOT COMPRABLE TO THE QUALITY OF SERVICES! I got a pedicure and a fill both with gel polish... $140.00 $70 for a pedicure with no actual massage... he pushed on some "pressure points" which was very painful not relaxing at all. he put a very runny lotion all over my legs then proceeded to spray it off and then use a sugar scrub defeating the WHOLE purpose of the "lotion" he just put on and rinsed off. no rub on feet but he took half a lime and squeezed it on my feet. then on my big toe i asked for lines as showed on my nails. I brought a friend with me she got a pedicure only and gel polish, no design, nothing crazy just straight glittery nail polish... they told her $50 and then charged her $70... COME ON are ya'll serious... Look i have had a lot of pedicures in my life but i have NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE PEDICURE. On my nails, just a fill with gel polish 2 nails with lines and one half black and nude... $70... she didn't even try to make lines even or even the same thickness. i got up thinking at the worst both services would be $100... he gave me my receipt and i nearly threw up... $140 i wanted to cry. i am not a confrontational person and i was just so sticker shocked, after a long stressful day at work i just didn't want to deal with it. yes i still tipped because that's just how i was taught. the gentleman was very nice but it did not make up for how bad the actual services were. I wanted a basic French gel pedicure and a French gel polish change on my hands. The guy didn't do gel on my toes he did regular polish. Both of my big toes are cut and painted with a diagonal stripe. Also I had to file 3 of my fingernails down so my edges were smooth. I was charged $85 which is $20 more than the last salon that I went to. I won't be back. Update: only after 2 weeks I had 1 of my nails break and another one the gel polish came off at the tip. I've never had this happen at other places. Really disappointed In How my nails look they are chipped at the tips. My gel manicures at other places always lasted for 3 weeks. :( read more

This place is crazy expensive as i found most of Akron nail salons to be. Although i had to direct the lady on how I wanted the dead skin to be cut off my natural manicured nails my pedicure was fun. The two youngest ladies and asian male was hilarious, and was able to entertain myself and a few other ladies with mild intellectual conversation. While the skills of the technicians were just ok the customer service was great. They offer a good time with a glass of wine. read more

The person who was doing mine was so worried about the people walking in the door forgot he had a customer right in front of him. Was clipping my toe nails and cut me not once but twice. Very clean and friendly staff. I felt welcome. I did not care for my Shellac pedicure. It look like I had did it myself. My nails were very uneven and shorter then I for. It wasn't bad, but the guy who was doing my nails stopped every 30 seconds to watch the football game that was on the TV. it was quick and cheap, good for the price ($20 for an acrylic fill), but he didn't file off all the extra that goes beneath the nail and mumbled a lot when he talked to me and literally couldn't take his eyes off of the football game. i only went here because my usual place (ultra nails) is closed on sundays. probably won't be back read more

Sophia did a phenomenal job on my nails my very first time here. She trimmed my cuticles, carefully applied my gel color, and meticulously trimmed off any excess color around the nail bed. I got compliments as soon as I went out in public, even though I just got a solid color and nothing fancy. Ask for Sophia if you want an absolutely amazing job on your nails! This nail salon is by far the best nail salon in the greater Akron area. I have frequented quite a few different ones but the total package can never compare to Soho. They always do a top notch job in the manis and Pedis. They always look amazing. But the real difference is how they make you feel. It can be your first time walking through the door and on your 100th time. They always greet you with a smile, a beverage and really make you feel welcome. Very nice tech but he put the base gel polish into my cuticle so the gel manicure was crusty around the cuticle a day later and it lifted the polish only 5 days later, peeling off in large sections. The polish was lumpy also. Disappointing for a $40 gel manicure that should of lasted 2 weeks. The sterile pack of tools looked old and beat up and the clippers were rusty. Plus my cuticles bled on two fingers. YouTube tutorials and more training needed, especially for $40! read more

I was slightly skeptical because of the previous reviews that I saw regarding wait times and people who had made reservations and still had to wait but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided to call in and find out more about their pricing I figured they would have had a website that was fully designed and explain the services and the cost that they offered I was directed to go to Yelp which I only saw a menu posted and a pic had a list of manicure services but nothing regarding pedicures so I had to call back and find out what services they offer regarding pedicures at this point someone answered the ph one and gave me just the generic answer 30 40 50 when I asked what was the difference between the services he said well you just get more service with each one. Anyone with common sense would know that a higher cost would include added services. Knowing what these added services are would help to determine what you would like to pay for. Needless to say, based on this total lack of service on the phone I decided not to make reservations for my party of four. All of this could have been avoided if there was a fully designed website or just as much pricing information online as there is selfies of the owner. read more

I was impressed with the great reviews I read, but when I went for my gel manicure I was disappointed. I will give them props that I had no wait time on a Saturday morning and that everyone was friendly when I arrived. I felt that the girl who did my nails was unprofessional, from the conversation about her drinking the night before to answering a personal call on her phone during my manicure. I had seen posted on here by the owner that new files and tools were used for each manicure, that was not the case for me. The nail file was obviously used and she pulled the tools out of a drawer at her station, not a sealed package as advertised. When I left there was gel polish on my fingers and cuticles. My nail edges felt rough as though they weren't completely filed. I can get over having to take the polish off my skin or smoothing my nail edges with a file, but after two days I already have several nails where the polish is lifting. Although this was just one nail tech I dealt with, I was unsatisfied with my results and I don't think I will be returning. read more
