Clean, comfortable different sized rooms available. 1st floor quiet and easily accessible to gym. Main Street can be loud with city ambulances however during the day. Turn down service varies per level you're on and shower types as well.

I arrived at Soho House in a tizzy of travel and work and meetings, and stress oh my... but man, Soho House took good care of me. A million thoughtful little touches make this hip hotel an absolute pleasure to the senses. Let me paint the picture for you, Yelpers: - It's a members club, but hotel guests have full access to the club, rooftop pool, gym, spa, fitness classes and more. Boom. Instant cool. - The bathroom is stocked- and I mean *stocked*- with yummy Cowshed bath products. Full-sized bottles of multiple kinds of shampoo, conditioner, body scrub, body wash, face wash, all at the ready - There are also thoughtful little touches like condoms, massage oil, extra toothbrushes for your impromptu getting busy needs. This is a sexy hotel. - My bed was turned down nightly with a fresh bottle of water waiting for me on the bedside table. I mean, a bottle of water is such a small thing, but packaged together in this experience made it feel so magical. Where are these fairy godmothers taking care of me coming from?? - The mini bar includes complimentary chilled still and sparkling water, tea, coffee, and fresh cookies, also delivered by the fairy godmothers - The gym in superb, modern, and basking in natural light. There's even a selection of daily fitness classes you can attend. I survived two 90-min power yoga classes (one in German) and felt like a better version of myself afterwards. - The rooftop pool is an oasis in Berlin summer. Get there early to grab a sofa and enjoy the sunscreen they thoughtfully keep nearby so you don't get burned Overall, I'm beyond impressed. The value for money for this magical experience is super high. I paid nearly the same price I would pay at a chain hotel but the experience doesn't even compare. I'll see you again very soon, Soho House.

Stayed here for one night on my birthday this past year - had a GREAT time at the Soho House. This is a first-class joint. Everyone was friendly and made me feel at home, even though I am definitely a few years beyond my hipster days. My "Tiny" room turned out to be larger than most. It was very well stocked with products from the Cow Shed spa downstairs, lots of magazines and even cookies with tea. The room rate was not bad at all. The only small issue I had was when a friend of mine dropped by for a drink - I was told that I needed to tell the front desk BEFORE he arrived about his visit. Soho House is a 'club' hotel and non-members who are not residents are not allowed to visit the bar and restaurant areas on the upper floors. And you can only invite one person if you are a non-member guest. Just an FYI. Food was excellent here as were the drinks. Had a surprisingly good risotto - a difficulty dish to prepare correctly. Last year I visited hotels in seven nations, ranging from Japan (Tokyo) to Portugal. The Soho House was my favorite. Will definitely return.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I don't have to say anything except that the view is magnetic :)

A wonderful lounge area, wonderful roof with a pool and a view towards the TV Tower over Berlin-magnificent, and to that is a relaxing mini theater (where you can lay!) . The prices are very high and the service is from a scale from one to ten a eight and a half. I am amazed that the waiters can speak English and German so congrats for that. Although, I am wondering their experience in service since one of their cooking employees came into the very small and cramped elevator when like five us were already inside. Maybe I am being stingy but service is service. Best of all is the free wifi! Although in America it's a common thing to have wifi almost in every shop, Germany is still adapting to that new custom. Overall the experience was good. Also you must know that you must be a member to get inside the SoHo house and being a member is a actually a huge honor because you have to be recommend by at least two people who are members of the SoHo house and pay a monthly fee. I heard stars like George Clooney and Cat Blanchet were spotted there!

The restaurant had extremely poor service. For the price it should be top notch. The hotel room however was amazing!

Not all homes in East…read moreGermany had proper bathing facilities and the Hotel Oderberger of the past severed the purpose. It still has the pool, highly revised and modernized, into a wonderful facility. The place is oozing with charm and quirks. Like white brick window sills that slope about 20 degrees making them totally useless for bathroom shelves and doors so heavy they are clearly designed to withstand Category 5 hurricanes (though I didn't think Berlin was subject to tropical cyclones). Our room was an eclectic mix of old and new with a very firm and comfy bed. Standard European no top sheet, just the duvet for covers. Our room had no A/C, but cooling was fine from opening windows. Breakfast at the hotel was standard fare, but tasty with excellent service. Also loved the quaint bar making some excellent cocktails and serving fine beer. However, service there was occasionally slow as servers exited for smoking breaks. Walls and floors are concrete with marble and very thick, so rooms tend to echo quite a bit, but we never heard any neighbors and quiet sleep was no problem. Basically, this is my kind of hotel - charming, a little odd, fun staff. Highly recommended in Berlin.

Spacious room with all the amenities needed. Restaurant is down in the basement (abit hard to find but eventually found it). It's a walking distance to the neighborhood street that fills with stores, markets, shops, restaurants and bakeries. Just a lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood and with great staff.

I had low expectations regarding the rooms and that was a good thing, because my single room on 4th floor was simple. It had a desk and a chair in a rather sterile room that gave me a hostel feeling. The wall to wall carpet did not smell right either.. Other than the carpet, room was clean. So, why such a good rating then? Well, breakfast was nice, view from room was nice, it was cheap and located exactly where I needed. In other words, this place is awesome if you have not planned to stay much in the room. It's a short trip, one stop or 20 minutes walk to Mauer Park and Oderberger strasse or Kollwitzstr. Lots of lcoal stores nearby as well as pubs. So, even though my room was simple, everything else was splendid.

GIven the urban setting, it might not be for the unadventurous - the night entrance to the hotel is inside a very dimly lit garden. However, all other gates being locked and the restaurant next to the open gate makes for a very safe walk into the hotel. The single room I was assigned was very small, and had only European plugs. The LED TV did not have USB ports. There is no ventilation in the room save for the exhaust fan of the bathroom. However, even very close to summer the room was kept comfortable by opening the windows that look down into the garden and night entry. I generally recommend this hotel to folks looking for a decent rate, while not expecting very luxurious surroundings.

After weeks and weeks of research into hotels in Berlin we finally settled on booking 4 nights at…read morethe Adina in August. It was affordable at just over 100 euros per night; it was centrally located without being beside loads of noisy clubs and restaurants and it had little self-contained apartments rather than basic bedrooms. Our room was very luxurious and we couldn't believe we were staying in such a high quality hotel in the middle of a capital city for such a great price. The bed was huge and insanely comfy. There were two flat screen TV's with English as well as German channels. The kitchen was small but well equipped with a microwave, hob, fridge, toaster and kettle. The bathroom was luxurious with a huge shower and most importantly it was absolutely spotless. The whole room was kept spotless by housekeeping throughout our stay. The restaurant was expensive but the food was delicious and you're so close to so many other restaurants and cafes that you can go your whole stay without having to eat in the restaurant if you don't want to. The pool was small and freezing but it was refreshing to jump into it at the end of a long days sightseeing. There was also a sauna and a Jacuzzi and they were never very busy. The Adina was within walking distance of all major sites including Checkpoint Charlie, Jewish Museum, Jewish Memorial, History Museum, DDR Museum...I could go on! It's also 2 minutes' walk to the underground if you want to venture further afield. We hopped on the underground and then a train to visit some markets and the zoo and it was no problem at all. I highly recommend going for a little apartment type room on a city break such as those offered at Adina rather than a standard hotel room. It was great for days when we didn't want to drag ourselves out of bed for breakfast early because we could just make some tea and toast in our apartment to set us up for the day. We also bought some microwave pizzas for one night when we couldn't bear the thought of leaving the apartment again to go out for dinner after a loooooong and tiring day of sightseeing. There were too little downsides to the Adina for us. One was that there was no DVD player in the apartment. You could hire one for an extra cost but they were all taken during our stay. Secondly our apartment didn't have a bath (but the shower was huge!). It would have been nice to have a cosy bath to recover a sooth body after walking around Berlin all day. Despite these too little things I 100% recommend the Adina if you are visiting Berlin. We went as a romantic, young couple's holiday but it would be equally suitable for families or groups of friends.

A very complete breakfast was $6 additional. Surprisingly easy transportation to central Berlin or Tegel Airport. I think I paid only $3 for train and bus transport to Tegel. (train was OK bus bus at the end was crowded, but bus service is every 15 minutes or so). Good restaurant on site, but doesn't open for dinner until 6pm or so. If you really want to cheap out you can stay in a dorm room of 4 bunk beds for only about $12/night, but security might be an issue. I would stay here again because of convenience and price. It really does not even compare to the hostel I stayed at in Amsterdam. Cons: -The rooms are so small! We were in each other's space. - the washer and dryer are terrible. We could not even get our clothes dry even after drying them twice in the dryer. So we literally had to hang all our clothes all throughout our whole room. Mind you, our room is so small. So we were left with way less space now that we hung out clothes in every nook of the room. I highly suggest going to a separate laundry institution nearby. - NO AIR CONDITIONER.... The rooms are very hot during the day. - breakfast in the cafe is pricy for the amount of food you get and the food quality you receive. Pros: -Clean bathroom - surprisingly bigger bathroom than you would think when you look at the room itself. - great lounge and common space - live DJ on Fridays
