We checked in and went to the room which was an extremely long walk. We get in the room and it's hot. We immediately put the AC on. It didn't cool down at all. So I suggested will go to dinner & let the room cool down, No upon returning it was hot & humid. read more

A second visit, just as pleasant as the previous one! Very clean and fresh hotel, everything is sparkling. The staff is competent, dedicated and polite. They seem well rested and well treated, which goes a long way for a good stay for us! The gym is small, but well furnished. Seems designed by someone who works out, a fone and complete selection of machines. read more

I recently stayed at Vienna House by Wyndham Andel s Berlin for 2 nights, Tuesday, June 24 & Wednesday, June 25, 2025. It was especially hot those 2 days and when I checked in my room was REALLY warm. The air conditioning was on and the fan was blowing, but it was NOT cool in the room. Someone came to my room to check and found it was very warm & suggested I open the window, which I did. There was a breeze, so the room cooled somewhat. I had to have the window open any time I was in the room in order to stand the heat. Sweating all night is NOT how I want to spend my vacation. read more

If I could give a O star I would. On May 21, 2025 my wife and I arrived at the Vienna House on a reservation that was made in October of 2024. We used Capitol One points to secure the room. Once there we were told that they had no rooms and stated that we need to go to a "neighboring property" a Sheraton property. They would pay for the room. After one and a half hours of driving through horrible traffic the Sheraton set us up but advised us that the Vienna House was only covering one night. They expected us to give up a day of our vacation and pack up again and trek back to their hotel. We had plans to see the city and wanted to stay at the Sheraton but they refused to pay the additional nights and then.... get this, refused to refund us our points! Sounds like theft to me but hey, that was their plan and 8 days later, Capital One and Vienna House are standing by the decision to keep our points for rooms we never were allowed inside. Vienna House does not return phone calls and they won't provide email addresses of managers or other leadership. Look at their website, no less than 12 other customers experienced significant issues at that property. Save yourself the frustration and stay elsewhere. The Sheraton was nice but on the other side of town! read more

The room was clean and modern. Very nice. However, there are no usb ports to charge your phone, and there is no coffee station, so you will be forced to pay 28 euro for the breakfast which is not anything special just to have your coffee. My room only had decaf this morning. Front desk was no help whatsoever on either of these items read more

Pros: 1) Spacious rooms 2) Great breakfast selections 3) There is a Rewe supermarket right across so you can pickup some sodas, beer or snacks for cheap 4) Both Tram and Bahn stations are right across from the hotel Cons: 1) Far from all the tourist spots 2) Not many restaurants options near by, there is an Italians restaurant and a Burger King. we took the trams to eat dinner at other places 3) My biggest issue with the room is the poorly designed bathroom. The shower door is fully sealed to the wall with no opening for steam to escape, if you leave the shower door open, you can't use the toilet because the toilet door couldn't open. So the result is that the shower smells weird. Which means you need to open the windows to get the airflow and it gets noisy Overall, it is a good hotel, I would stay here for conference, but it is far for tourist. read more

Stayed here for three days while tending to some business and taking in a few of the sights around Berlin. The staff were courteous (example: arrived early the first day and left late the last, but both times they kept my luggage under close watch at reception so I wouldn't have to carry it with around the city), the staff generally spoke English clearly, and the hotel is in excellent condition. I was actually quite surprised how spacious the room was for the price. The room I had was on the 8th floor and actually had a nice view of the Fernsehturm (TV tower) off in the distance, which looked awesome in the sunset. My booking had breakfast included, and the staff work exceptionally hard to keep everything stocked. Also, the fitness center here was excellent with a diverse and plentiful stock of exercise equipment. It made me look forward to getting up every morning to do my yoga and go run. The only downside about this hotel for me was the location in relation to public transportation in Berlin. The tram and the S-train are literally in the middle of the street and accessible by walking in tunnels (that way you don't have to wait at the crosswalk light), but most of my travels involved the underground. So getting around meant I had to first catch the tram to the nearest appropriate underground stop, which could easily add 20 minutes to my travel time. All in all, this is a great hotel. I'll likely book here again when I return to Berlin. read more

The only place to stay when you want to be in Marzahn area!! So this hotel is close to work so most of the colleagues stay here. From previous experience, this does not always mean its a nice a hotel or a place if stay at for private. However, Andel's is the exception - I love staying here!!! They have a great modern atmosphere, friendly staff, top renovated, modern rooms and a sky bar with an awesome view! All of this at a super affordable price!!! The rooms: Super modern and clean! Hardwood floors with white closets and flat screen TV hung on the wall. The bathroom has a shower stall enclosed with glass, the toilet is also enclosed in another stall with glass and then there is also a bath tub. There is a Tram stop across the street for easy access to the city (although, I have to admit I've never used it). Next time I'm in Berlin I will definitely look for a room at Andel's. read more

Excellent hospitality. The lobby has a lot of comfortable seating options and interesting artwork and decor to look at. The front desk staff were warm and accommodating, with no difficulty switching over to English at the drop of a hat. Breakfast is a pleasant affair with multiple stations with multiple options at each station. The lobby, breakfast room, and hotel room were all exceptionally clean. The room itself is smaller, but washroom and walk-in shower are quite large. The decorations are modern, but not at the expense of comfort. There are multiple towel racks and two mirrors (one normal, one magnified and repositionable) in the bathroom. They also have speakers in the washroom that can play what is on the tc. The hotel incentivizes you to reduce daily cleanings by giving surprise daily gifts. The location is handy as well, with an S-Bahn stop right outside that brings you straight to Alexnderplatz in a few minutes. Overall, excellent attention to detail that creates a really great experience. read more

I got a room at Andel's for what I thought was a great price (around $75/night in late May), and really liked the hotel overall. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable (with decent free wi-fi, upgradeable at a cost if you need more bandwidth). Hotel service was good (especially by European standards), the gym was very well equipped, and breakfast was outstanding (and served until 1p on weekends and public holidays). While the hotel is on the northeastern outskirts of Berlin proper, it is right next to the tram and S-bahn station and it's very easy to get anywhere from here (about 10-15 minutes to Alexanderplatz by tram). The only downside was that a lot of the nightlife is still in the center/west of town, and getting back to the hotel late at night can be a bit time-consuming. read more

Although Andel's isn't in the center of Berlin, it's kinda cool to think you're staying in the former DDR, although it looks nothing like what the DDR used to look like. Andel's has lovely cozy rooms with a fresh and contemporary feel. incredibly friendly and efficient staff and one of the best hotel breakfasts I can remember. No seriously, I looked forward to breakfast like there's no tomorrow. The cab ride downtown, or to central Berlin is like 8-10 Euro, so not terrible. I'd happily stay here again, also is a great space for a conference, which is why i stayed here, the whole show ran efficiently. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning in the lobby and conference spaces. It works well enough in the rooms but if you have to spend all day on the mezzanine and in smallish rooms that get rather warm it gets somewhat uncomfortable. read more

My first time in Germany, never mind Berlin and we picked well. Although we are pretty much out all day when we go on our little city breaks, it's nice to have a little luxury to come back to and this trip was to celebrate a little occasion (my BF's and I first anniversary, yay!) Andels is an extremely modern (understatement), spacious (understatement) and conveniently located (overstatement) hotel just outside the hustle and bustle of the central area, Mitte. (Do I sound like I now know Berlin? I don't!). However, for us it was perfect as it was on the glorious tram line (why can't trams be everywhere?!) and just a couple of minutes from the train. Especially glorious as we had a late flight in and celebrated our arrival with a late night cocktail overlooking the city from the 14th floor Sky Bar. I'm not normally a cocktail consumer but this was our vision when we booked the hotel and it was nice to see it unfold. Staff are friendly (with perfect English language too) although with a place this size you rarely bump into anyone in the very regular and fast lifts. We didn't manage to enjoy the afternoon tea Andel's offers in its Sky Cafe (12th floor) as we just hopped out each day to explore the city but it's something I want to do on a return trip for sure! read more

One of the best hotel I have been in Berlin so far. The area is pretty lame, not much there, but you are just a few trams stops away from the heart of prenzlauer berg. Very nice rooms, amazing spa with two saunas, steam room and jacuzzi (just be aware, it is mixed and people do go there fully naked). There is a restaurant too that serves decent food, not necessarily on the cheap side tho.. all in all I totally recommend ! read more

Was randomly visiting Berlin, Germany for three days. For the price the room and amenities were excellent. Because I wasn't sure about the neighborhoods this hotel was a bit of a miss for me. It's not close to where you would want to be as a tourist. A little far from where the happening neighborhoods are (alexanderplatz, Mitte). The breakfast which was included was amazing. The customer service mediocre. There were many moments where you'd have to hunt the receptionist down to ask a question or the concierge. All of a sudden it's as if the hotel staff would disappear. Regardless, a clean, modern and pocket friendly hotel but could have done better. It appears this is a hotel that many conferences and meetings are held in just as a side note. read more

Staying at this hotel for a congress. It's JWD as people in Berlin would say, which means far away;), but great transport links to centre and taxis always waiting outside. The lobby looks nice. The welcome was friendly, check in was very quick. Room is big, clean and quiet even though it is facing a main road. It s supposedly a 'design' hotel, whatever that means. To me it feels a bit soulless, but that's a matter of taste. Food and drinks in the skybar are average. Service friendly and the view is nice. Breakfast at the restaurant is nice. There are no ironing boards in the rooms, which is annoying seeing that they are have convention center. They set up an ironing room due to high demand (!). The wardrobes are tiny and half the space is not usable. Shelves over 2 mts high and half of reachable space taken up by minibar. Staff went out of their way to help a sick colleague by providing hot lemon and calling a doctor. Overall a good experience read more

The wifi is terrible. The spa is great. This hotel is really massive an doesn't have much personality. It is also out of the way from most tourist attractions so be prepared to travel more than you would at other hotels. read more

Hotel service was good the staff is polite , gentle and efficient. the breakfast was very reach ,amazing , and one of the best hotel breakfasts. the prices of drinks at the mini bar and drinks with food in the bar are very expensive. the hotel located far from the center. but ten minutes by tram you reach the Alexanderplatz.
