Went to purchase a pair of boots. The sales people were very kind and helpful. It was really busy when I went in but they made sure I didn't wait too long and brought out sizes and different sizes. They gave me a teacher's discount and even tried to stack coupons with another promotion. Unfortunately I had to return the boots due to unbearable pain trying to break them in (not their brand). They took them back no problems! Very happy with the store and their customer service line. Would definitely shop here again! read more

Went to buy shoes on the weekend and I wanted to try a couple sizes on. The girl working there 1- didn't greet my family and I. 2- completely Ignored me when I had a couple shoes in my hand. I had to physically go to the counter and ask if I could have sizes. She didn't say one word, grabbed the shoes from the counter and scanned them in. They didn't have the size I was looking for but a half size up and a half size down. So I asked if I could try both sizes on. Her response was "that's not the size you even asked for".....I said yes I'm aware but i would like to still try them. She let out the loudest huff and went in the back. My husband was in shock. Needless to say, I left the store and told her how incredibly rude she was. I will never buy a pair of shoes from the red deer soft moc again. Very Poor customer service. read more

While after buying at least twenty pairs of shoes and boots here over the years I am not going to be a returning customer. After returning a pair of boots due to manufacturers defect I was treated ridiculously by the "gang of staff". As everyone knows sizing varies between women's and children's brands. As well as between brands it varies. After a song and dance about why they shouldn't have to replace the defective boots, I was slapped with the insinuation that I was trading boots to accommodate my daughters growing feet. (The three inch separation in the returned boots' seams didn't appear to have any meaning on the salesgirl.) As well I could have credit towards anything more expensive in the store, use for same size and I had to use it now. Being Intelligent, I measured the length of the returned sole to the sole of a boot that my daughter picked out. Same length. Took it up to the register showed the first salesgirl, she nodded and barely acknowledged what I saying and abruptly started ringing me in. The second salesgirl blurts out those aren't the right size. The first sales girl rolls her eyes and said I know, as if I was taking advantage of their policy. I then repeated how the lengths of the soles were exactly even to her and she didn't acknowledge me speaking common sense either. I get the feeling that the catty staff would be better suited to a Saturday Night Live skit. They are a dumb joke. It was their house brand that gave me the problems with the defects. read more
