When I am intent on finding something interesting to wear, I make sure I stop in Cobb's because more often than not, I walk out with a purchase and usually at a reasonable price because the sale rack or the sales are really good. The best part of the deal is that I don't have to get my butt to Red Deer of Calgary to brave the crowded malls and stores. I am going to confess that I am not the thinnest girl in the crowd so my Sylvan boutique shopping experiences have left me feeling sort of disenchanted because I am usually just shy of fitting whats on the rack. But Cobb's is my exception to the rule. Its selection has something for everyone. It ranges from young and trendy to old lady chic that goes from casual to dressy. It carries shoes, accessories and has a nice selection of swimwear. It even carries body shaping undergarments. There is also a selection of casual menswear, but the sore is most geared towards women. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've found myself coming in to the store, looking for items and having the staff helping me search the racks and bring me some nice clothing pieces to try on in the dressing room. I'll note that the regular prices are generally higher end, but if you keep an eye out for their promotions and/or take a peek in the discount section, you can find yourself a steal of a deal. If you are in Sylvan, ladies especially, this store is definitely worth a look.

She does not build young staff for success in their future and treats them like they cannot be trusted. She is easily threatened by people with talent and will treat you like crap because of it. This sucks because this is a canadian company and I would love to spend my money there, but after the work experience and terrible staff treatment I witnessed I will never spend a cent at a boathouse store ever again. Jury is still out on the shoes (although early reviews are positive), but I found the store service really good. I wasn't sure what I wanted to buy, the salesman who also happens to be the owner was great at educating me on the product and how to care for them using items around the house instead of trying to up-sell me.

Now it was only a $700 suite but please what a joke. Then mt wife bought me a pair of pants from there and went to return them 7 weeks later as they were a gift and he said i couldn't as he no longer caries that line so sorry. So I have a pair of $270 pants that are too small and I can't wear. So i have spent over $1200 in this store and have nothing to show for it other then some rags and a bad taste in my mouth...........avoid this place at all costs!

The salesperson whose name was Angel helped him to find the right pair, the right size and length. When he was looking at himself in the mirror she insisted he needed to try on a pair of dress shoes. They made the outfit look great; and the shoes were very fashionable and fit good. So he got shoes as well. Thank you Angel we will come back again. We had fun and the service was a 10/10.

I have good service and decent advice but I could say that they could try and create a better ensemble accessory wise and suggestion wise. I could have easily spent more but just needed a prodding of sorts. Decent selection and always have a sale going on. They do honor work perks and other programs for discounts but make sure you have a bar code to scan at the very least. Spent a long time trying to get a discount only to hear that in Edmonton or Calgary they simply just do the discount as our company purchases lots of clothing at Moores. Was disappointed when I bought a travel bag and realized I could have used a 50% off coupon and as I had already purchased it they would not take the discount off even two days later after a coworker had informed me about the offer. Anyway decent for mid priced suit items. Clothing will wear out a bit faster I find but all in all I have good experiences here hence the returns by me!

I went in 3 times and finally decided I wanted to buy them! upon trying on the pair for my self I noticed one shoe that had been in the window was very faded and very obvious that the shoes were now different blues! I hummed and hawed...the lady tried selling me a pair that was to big...I just couldn't do that so I asked if they had another size 5, they did not and she tried telling me the fading was minimal when i fact it was the ENTIRE shoe. She suggested I fade the other shoe(might I add I was buying them for their vibrance and they were 130$ plus tax) I kindly asked her if she could reduce the price and I would buy them. She became very rude and refused! Needless to say I did not buy the shoes nor did I buy the other 4 pairs at 130$ a piece! Terrible terrible business people.
