It was a blank wall, and I had 18 pieces of art to hang ranging in all sizes and shapes. From the beginning, he was extremely professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. I first needed to figure out the layout. I changed my mind a few times during the process, and he never rushed me -- instead, he worked with me to lay out the perfect design and made sure everything was balanced and visually pleasing. He worked with precision - measuring with a certain confidence that I found myself quickly letting go of any hesitation - he completely earned my trust. He was fast and efficient but still paid close attention to detail. What really stood out was how open he was to making adjustments -- always happy to move a piece or tweak the layout if I had a new idea. I truly appreciated his flexibility and eye for design. The level of thought, balance, and artistry he brought to the project went far beyond just "hanging" pictures. I couldn't be happier with how the gallery turned out. I am so grateful for his work. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality work.

We had moved into an old 20s building and needed to make sure the art could endure the thick wall during an earthquake causing as little damage done to the walls, since we are renting. The sizes of the pieces range from small to 8ft long and no task was too big or too time consuming. The mural over our staircase is very grand and Carlos got it done so fast and so evenly, I couldn't believe how seamless. It's most important to mention, our installation was scheduled during the very difficult fire season we had here in LA this January. Carlos was incredibly communicative during that time, as rescheduling was obvious and not a problem but it became clear that this family business means family and then business Not to mention a local hero for his local community at that time, look no further!

The response they received to completely reasonable questions was so unbelievably unprofessional and curt - see the attached screenshot which speaks for itself. I have never encountered this sort of treatment before and am grateful that we didn't get to the point where we entrusted them with their services. As a business that presumably works with high-value artwork, they have no right to respond to questions about insurance coverage in the dismissive manner that they did. Mistakes CAN happen, that's why insurance exists... why should someone trust a person who merely says "We do this every day and nothing is a problem" but can't provide the dollar amount that their insurance policy covers? Do not recommend under any circumstances especially if you're seeking installation of high-value works.

I first hired Robert to handle several installations in my home and to rearrange my existing living room gallery wall in preparation for three new pieces of art that are still on their way. I also wanted to rethink the artwork on my dining area wall. I have a large, eclectic collection of art in different sizes, styles and frames, and I had a very specific vision for how I wanted these spaces to come together. Robert understood that vision immediately. He didn't simply hang pictures where I pointed. He understood what I was trying to accomplish with both the living room gallery and the dining area wall--the balance, relationships between the pieces, and the way the art needed to work with the architecture and furnishings already in the rooms. He rearranged and installed everything beautifully while leaving exactly the right space for the three pieces that are coming. When they arrive, Robert will absolutely be the person I call to install them. My second experience with him came unexpectedly. A very large 57" × 76" painting arrived, and the delivery service had sent only one person who wasn't much bigger than I am. The painting therefore ended up downstairs in my garage. With the summer heat, I was increasingly worried about leaving it there. I contacted Robert knowing I was giving him almost no notice. His schedule was already very tight, but when I explained the situation, he found a way to fit me in within the next couple of days. Robert and his team got the enormous painting safely out of the garage, into the house and installed on a very tall wall. They were careful, methodical and precise, and they took the time to make sure its placement was exactly right. The finished installation is spectacular. The painting has become a focal point of the dining area and feels completely at home with the surrounding artwork, plants and furnishings. What distinguishes Robert is that he brings much more than the technical ability to securely hang artwork. He has an excellent eye for scale, proportion, balance and placement, he listens to what you're trying to accomplish, and he respects both the individual artwork and the larger vision for the room. Add to that his responsiveness, professionalism and willingness to help when I unexpectedly found myself in a bind, and he's exactly the kind of person you hope to find and keep. R2 Picture Hanging & Delivery has become my go-to for installing and arranging art in my home--and Robert already has three more pieces coming his way, with more projects to come.

He texted me to call him, so I did, but didn't reach him. The next day I didn't hear from him until much later, and by then, I'd booked someone else. When he texted me, I let him know that I'd chosen someone else. He apologized for being slow to respond and being abrupt in his texts (they were testy) and asked if we could start over. I told him it wasn't an issue, but I'd truly booked someone else. Then he started complaining that he was getting attacked by AI and it was a crime, and it was hard to know if potential clients were real. I said I was real, and he must not have have put my voicemail and my email together. Then he asked me again for my name and city so that he could put it together. At this point, it was getting ridiculous, but I complied, I was trying to help the guy out, and get off his list. Then he starts cussing at me. I blocked him. What a jerk. I'm telling you, I was never anything but kind and helpful to him, the only thing I did "wrong" was ask him for a custom quote (which he never gave me, because he clearly still had no idea what work I'd asked him to do - he only gave me his 3 hour minimum shtick) and later had the courtesy to tell him that I'd hired someone else. Instead of blowing him off. I was nice, and he is throwing four letter words at me. I would find someone else who is more trustworthy, reliable, knows the difference between a computer and a real person, and knows how to treat potential clients. How will he treat you inside your own home??

The lighting is first class. They have been able to light the paintings without glare or unnatural coloring. Also there is no shadowing from the person viewing the painting. What really stands out for me is the willingness to present art which may be construed as edgy, controversial, or confrontational. It appears that perhaps high commercial appeal is not the objective here but the display of fine art in all its forms is. The art here is not the typical presentation for interior decorators shopping for their clients and trying to match the shading of the painting with the color of the walls and draperies. Admittedly I have only viewed one presentation so far, but the Jorge Dubin exhibit was amazing and forwards the expectation of more great viewing in the future.
