He presents his sales in a first class way...not only for the shoppers, but also for the owners of the home... showing the upmost respect for both parties. He has a very good eye when it comes to pricing, too... Making sure that the seller gets a fair price for their items while his buyers pay an extremely fair price for their purchases ...very unusual occurance for estate sales companies! Another thing I like about Laguna Beach Estate Sales is that Fred has appointments set up for the buyers so the location isn't swamped at any given time with pushy people. Fred recognizes his past customers and can call them by name. He has worked out a stellar way to run his business that works for everyone. His sales are not to be missed...you will not be disappointed..there is always something for everyone! Thanks, Fred! (Plus, he has the most gorgeous blue eyes!)

I waited probably far too long to do this which did make it easier, but it was still a bit emotional and they handled everything with care and professionalism. Their communication was great. They handled everything from start to finish and even did an inventory of everything for me which was really helpful. That alone would have been a burden for me to do. I was hoping to sell several large items in the five figure range as well as many collectible pieces of Herend, Lladro, Royal Copenhagen and Waterford. The two day set up was a disaster. Their pricing methodology was a joke. I was hands on and kept a list of my items with the pricing. I was told this was a waste of time. Later, I found out why. All my collectibles were sold at garage sale prices. Also, items in my home not marked for sale were sold for peanuts without asking. I was ordered out of my home one hour prior to the sale start time on Day #1. They needed this time to "embellish" my sale without my knowledge. These items included fur coats on a rack, many purses of all sizes, scarves , "Chanel" sunglasses and professional jewelry cases. At the end of day #1 of the sale I arrived home with my house left unlocked and no staff present. My living room had been turned into a retail shop. The second day of the sale I arrived to my home earlier to be screamed at by the manager as their items from my living room were being packed up. No customers present. At my insistence I was handed a poor list of my items sold. I could only take a photo copy of it. I was then paid my 60%. Catherine made herself unavailable for the entire four day fiasco. Her "manager" was the most abusive, ruthless and uncaring human being I have ever dealt with. Please stay away at all cost! Beware!!!

When I arrived, two blonde women who appeared to be staff were arguing and raising their voices in front of customers about one of them telling shoppers that the last day would be discounted. This was so unprofessional to be arguing in front of people like this. The prices were pretty high on some items compared to most estate sales I've attended, and there was absolutely no willingness to negotiate, even on multiple items. On top of that, the woman running the cash register was incredibly rude and demeaning not only to me but to several other customers in front of me as well. When I decided to put back a few unpriced items after she quoted me unexpectedly high amounts, she threw them onto the counter and scoffed at me. As I was leaving, the lady who checked out in front of me was walking out and was also in disbelief of the cashiers attitude. This all took place early on the first day of the sale, so I'd like to think she might've just been having a bad morning, but the overall attitude and unprofessional behavior really left a bad impression. I won't be attending any more of their sales after this experience.

I have been a collector of various things my entire life, from Hollywood and film memorabilia to…read morefine art all the way to fine and vintage liquors and spirits, such as old bourbon and scotch. As such, I've been to more than my fair share of estate sales over the years... no, over the DECADES. In all my time perusing estate sales, I feel saying that I've seen it all only scratches the surface! I've experienced firsthand sellers who were good at helping clients move estate items on to new homes, and I've had to deal with plenty of sellers that are positively unscrupulous and only out for lining their own pockets beyond the contract they agreed to with their client. Be very very careful when seeking out and hiring an estate sale company to do the hard work of selling your cherished estate after loved ones have passed. Believe you me, most estate sales folks fall into the latter group and those that SEEM to put up the most high end of events with lines and sign up lists and all that? They tend to be the very worst thieves of all! So why am I starting with all this so early in my review of BLAST ESTATE SALES? Well because they are the crème de la crème, nicest of the nice, and the most honest resellers in the game. Hands down! This small company consists of a married couple, "Nikki & Jeff," who work tirelessly and compliment one another perfectly! I've been to a dozen or so estate sales run by the lovely Nikki and her partner in life as well as business, Jeff, and those sales? Are indeed "a blast!" They truly are fun, with refreshments and cookies at the last one I attended. Each sale I've been to was well prepared by these two for a smooth and fun sale day that seems to garner good money and sales for the client while moving cherished items on to new owners, all of which were leaving with their purchases and a big smile. It's rare to find an estate sales company that understands the delicate and all important RELATIONSHIP between buyer and seller and Nikki and Jeff do right by all parties involved. That is why so many dealers and collectors alike follow them religiously and go to all their sales events... truly. Nikki and Jeff deserve your business if you find yourself with a home that needs to be cleared out and if you're just another collector like me, I recommend you follow them carefully and go to some of their sales for deals. Without hesitation, I give Nikki & Jeff's BLAST ESTATE SALES my highest recommendation. (5/5 stars) PS If you have vintage and sealed bottles of liquor, especially Whiskey, Scotch, Rye, Spirits and Wine, by all means contact me directly as it's illegal for estate sales to sell them. Thank you

I was able to speak with Justin personally (on a weekend), while several other companies didn't pick up or didn't return my call. It was a no-pressure call and he even emailed us some informative documents on how the process would work (no other company did this). As we were dealing with getting our family member into assisted living, we put the estate sale on the back burner. But a couple months later we were ready to go and so was The Estate Sale House. They handled everything and even coordinated a clean-out after the sale. One thing to keep in mind is that you may think your stuff is more valuable than it is, so don't be surprised if you complete the estate sale and your take-away is less than you thought. Because they set expectations early, we were pleased with the results. When the house was cleaned out, we figured to go to a real estate agent to get it sold. We knew the Estate Sale House also offered real estate services but figured we'd go with a personal friend. However, after meeting with the sales team at the Estate Sale House, we learned they could also coordinate a mild interior refresh and also handle the listing. They had already done so much work and were always professional, kept us informed and were honest about expectations, it made the most sense to stay with them. We couldn't be happier with the choice. We had the home sold relatively quickly and for a fair-market price. We can't recommend The Estate Sale House enough. The whole process was turn-key and every person we met or worked with was a true professional. They returned calls, they kept appointments, they kept us informed, they coordinated contractors, all while being sensitive to the situation. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed.
