There is a real down home charm with the pictures, wallpaper and furniture, almost as if you were in a victorian era shop. The Ham and gruyere cheese pastry was absolutely delicious. The ham flavor was rich. Not being familiar with the cheese, the flavor is mild but unmistakable. The pastry itself was very flaky, buttery and light. I don't know everything they had because nothing was marked, but they had a nice variety. A small area had bread for sale including sourdough. There was a small area with seating on the side. I chose an unfrosted cinnamon roll, and my husband chose a chocolate glazed donut. The cinnamon roll was soft and with just the right amount of sweetness. I would have liked a small amount of frosting drizzle but they only had the other option of a heavily frosted cream cheese frosting. It still was so good! My husband's donut was very good, he said. I now wish I had bought a scone or something else to try. Alas I will have to come visit Sisters again, as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
