The sales receipt notes a $100 discount "for nondelivery" (we took it with us) and a $567 "cash discount." It was a demo but essentially like new due to its being a recently released model from the Pride Corp. Also included in the selling price was a removable cupholder and "complimentary in-store labor" for one year. Several strong positives were experienced while shopping. Geoff has a very nicely configured and stocked store. There is plenty of room for customers to test-drive the various powered chairs. Geoff did not at any point pressure us to buy a chair. He knew his merchandise extremely well and pointed out pros and cons of each of the various chairs we considered. Several helpful suggestions were given regarding the chair we purchased. Finally, Geoff is quite likeable and has excellent people and selling skills. My only issue with Midwest Mobility was pricing. The chair's tagged price was $3699, a full $600 above what the same chair is selling for on Amazon, at other local dealers, and at many on-line dealers. I compared Geoff's price on another chair with those of a couple of other dealers and again found Midwest to be the highest price. I was able to buy for below Geoff's asking price partly because I paid cash but mostly because I knew in advance what the chair was selling for elsewhere. My advice to potential customers is to look but don't buy before you check prices at other dealers and Amazon, which may be lower than Midwest's. Then, if need be, you will be in a much better position to negotiate the purchase price of your mobility device from Midwest.

The pickup went without a hitch but i had some issues delivering the equipment back on time since the return date ended up being on a snowstorm and since I was still not able to drive, i was depending on some help to drop it off. So, i called and reached out to them and they had zero issues giving me some flexibility and allowing me to drop it off a few days later (from Saturday to Monday). I ended up dropping it off Monday but the staff was out for lunch and my ride couldn't wait so I called them and they directed me to leave it for them since they would be returning later that hour. There was no extra charges for any inconvenience and they were just so supportive and caring. When that car came to the end of its life recently, we needed to get a new car and install hand controls quickly so my son could get to and from work independently again. Jerry answered the call and stepped up. He gave instructions to the mechanic as to how to remove the hand controls from the old car, and even offered to make a house call if needed. We then delivered the car and hand controls, and Jerry got them installed same day. Good guy. Good heart. Highly recommended!
